vineyard_n or_o as_o here_o to_o a_o till_a and_o harvest-field_n so_o that_o our_o soul_n they_o be_v god_n field_n and_o harvest_n what_o do_v that_o imply_v it_o imply_v these_o two_o thing_n 1._o it_o show_v we_o what_o we_o be_v by_o nature_n when_o the_o gospel_n do_v first_o come_v unto_o we_o that_o we_o be_v as_o a_o untilled_a field_n as_o a_o barren_a desert_n or_o as_o a_o unfruitful_a wilderness_n in_o gen._n 3._o and_o about_o the_o 18_o you_o read_v there_o upon_o man_n sin_n that_o god_n have_v curse_v the_o earth_n therefore_o thorn_n and_o thistle_n shall_v it_o bring_v garden_n one_o ask_v a_o gardener_n what_o the_o reason_n be_v that_o weed_n do_v spring_v so_o natural_o out_o of_o the_o ground_n when_o it_o be_v so_o hard_a a_o thing_n to_o make_v good_a plant_n and_o flower_n grow_v in_o it_o he_o answer_v because_o the_o earth_n be_v as_o a_o natural_a mother_n to_o the_o weed_n but_o be_v become_v as_o a_o stepmother_n to_o the_o plant_n thus_o it_o be_v with_o all_o our_o heart_n by_o nature_n the_o thing_n of_o grace_n and_o godliness_n they_o be_v not_o only_o above_o our_o corrupt_a nature_n but_o contrary_a to_o they_o in_o a_o word_n my_o brethren_n what_o be_v all_o those_o church_n you_o read_v of_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n the_o roman_a corinthian_a and_o the_o rest_n of_o they_o before_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v to_o they_o this_o show_v we_o what_o we_o be_v by_o nature_n so_o it_o evidence_n second_o what_o we_o shall_v be_v when_o the_o gospel_n come_v to_o we_o as_o the_o ground_n receive_v in_o the_o blow_n and_o the_o seed_n that_o it_o may_v bring_v forth_o the_o harvest_n so_o shall_v we_o be_v willing_a to_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o to_o receive_v the_o gospel_n that_o we_o may_v be_v gather_v in_o unto_o christ_n by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n as_o the_o prophet_n jer._n 4.3_o he_o bid_v we_o plough_v up_o the_o fallow_a ground_n for_o thus_o say_v the_o lord_n to_o the_o man_n of_o judah_n and_o jerusalem_n break_v up_o the_o fallow_a ground_n and_o sow_v not_o among_o thorn_n the_o husbandman_n do_v not_o use_v to_o cast_v his_o seed_n among_o the_o thorn_n without_o first_o break_v up_o to_o be_v plough_v by_o the_o word_n over_o and_o over_o and_o to_o be_v harrow_v by_o affliction_n again_o and_o again_o before_o we_o be_v fit_a to_o receive_v the_o seed_n and_o to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n to_o god_n break_v up_o the_o fallow_a ground_n and_o sow_v not_o among_o thorn_n for_o person_n to_o sow_v their_o seed_n without_o plough_v the_o ground_n that_o be_v a_o preposterous_a course_n and_o so_o it_o be_v with_o many_o people_n when_o they_o be_v convince_v that_o they_o have_v live_v wicked_o they_o think_v they_o will_v now_o mend_v their_o way_n and_o
