not_o any_o thing_n upon_o our_o own_o wit_n and_o policy_n but_o let_v we_o be_v small_a and_o low_o that_o our_o lord_n may_v enlighten_v we_o by_o his_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o when_o we_o heereuppon_o s._n paul_n infer_v that_o jesus_n christ_n may_v dwell_v in_o our_o heart_n by_o faith_n whereby_o he_o show_v that_o without_o christ_n we_o shall_v never_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o too_o obtain_v aught_o at_o god_n hand_n but_o by_o the_o mean_a of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n do_v but_o range_v and_o wander_v in_o vain_a and_o shall_v always_o find_v themselves_o empty_a insomuch_o that_o when_o they_o think_v themselves_o too_o be_v
though_o they_o be_v fast_o sow_v together_o because_o they_o perceive_v themselves_o too_o be_v hamper_v insomuch_o that_o he_o which_o have_v conspire_v in_o some_o mischief_n with_o another_o naughtipacke_n will_v be_v afraid_a of_o he_o and_o that_o fear_n be_v as_o a_o bond_n that_o can_v be_v break_v howbeit_o saint_n paul_n presuppose_v here_o that_o the_o faithful_a be_v at_o one_o in_o god_n as_o he_o will_v declare_v anon_o for_o this_o cause_n he_o show_v they_o how_o the_o same_o unity_n may_v be_v keep_v it_o be_v say_v he_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n for_o when_o a_o fire_n be_v once_o kindle_v it_o be_v not_o so_o soon_o quench_v again_o we_o imagine_v that_o when_o we_o cast_v ourselves_o into_o a_o chafe_n we_o can_v come_v too_o ourselves_o again_o by_o and_o by_o that_o peace_n shall_v never_o be_v good_a nor_o allow_v of_o god_n but_o rather_o accurse_a unless_o it_o have_v a_o good_a groundwork_n for_o what_o a_o peace_n be_v it_o if_o we_o will_v now_o adays_o link_v in_o with_o the_o papist_n we_o shall_v be_v fain_o too_o forsake_v the_o pure_a doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o too_o bend_v ourselves_o against_o god_n and_o too_o defile_v ourselves_o with_o all_o manner_n of_o filthiness_n and_o abomination_n but_o it_o be_v better_a that_o the_o whole_a world_n be_v sink_v and_o we_o with_o it_o than_o too_o seek_v such_o peace_n as_o much_o shall_v we_o be_v fain_o too_o do_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o turk_n for_o there_o be_v none_o of_o they_o both_o but_o he_o seek_v too_o wrap_v we_o in_o destruction_n and_o too_o pluck_v we_o away_o from_o god_n now_o if_o there_o be_v such_o atonement_n among_o we_o as_o we_o will_v needs_o enjoy_v all_o that_o our_o fleshly_a lust_n crave_v what_o confusion_n will_v there_o be_v uere_o oftentimes_o god_n servant_n be_v accuze_v of_o conspiracy_n and_o of_o spiteful_a malice_n and_o stubbornness_n because_o they_o can_v find_v in_o their_o heart_n too_o consent_v too_o any_o wickedness_n insomuch_o that_o they_o which_o be_v in_o any_o authority_n and_o credit_n will_v usurp_v any_o manner_n of_o tyranny_n too_o hinder_v the_o preach_n of_o god_n word_n as_o it_o ought_v too_o be_v and_o devise_v what_o they_o listen_v of_o their_o own_o brain_n so_o that_o albeit_o there_o be_v preach_v still_o yet_o shall_v it_o not_o be_v free_a according_a too_o god_n word_n if_o god_n servant_n be_v drive_v too_o this_o needs_o must_v we_o be_v trouble_v by_o satan_n &_o his_o champion_n and_o we_o shall_v be_v both_o blame_v and_o defame_a everywhere_o for_o such_o folk_n agree_v among_o ourselves_o now_o then_o we_o have_v here_o two_o point_n too_o bear_v in_o mind_n the_o one_o be_v that_o in_o seek_v atonement_n with_o man_n we_o must_v always_o have_v our_o eye_n upon_o god_n and_o when_o we_o be_v come_v too_o it_o we_o must_v be_v settle_v in_o it_o more_o and_o more_o that_o be_v a_o thing_n which_o we_o must_v ever_o have_v a_o care_n of_o now_o in_o general_n it_o be_v true_a that_o peace_n be_v too_o be_v desire_v and_o that_o the_o very_a name_n of_o it_o be_v have_v in_o estimation_n among_o man_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o we_o must_v not_o so_o shroud_v ourselves_o under_o the_o shadow_n of_o peace_n as_o too_o separate_v ourselves_o from_o god_n that_o in_o the_o end_n we_o make_v war_n against_o he_o and_o he_o proclaim_v we_o too_o be_v his_o enemy_n and_o for_o that_o cause_n it_o be_v say_v that_o we_o must_v be_v at_o continual_a battle_n with_o the_o wicked_a for_o in_o asmuch_o as_o they_o serve_v satan_n they_o will_v not_o cease_v to_o fight_v against_o god_n and_o our_o salvation_n and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o be_v cold_a and_o negligent_a in_o that_o behalf_n but_o zealous_a in_o set_v ourselves_o against_o they_o insomuch_o that_o although_o they_o be_v in_o honour_n and_o credit_n yet_o let_v we_o abhor_v they_o as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o psalm_n let_v they_o be_v unto_o we_o as_o stink_v and_o loathsome_a thing_n and_o full_a of_o filth_n and_o uncleanness_n though_o they_o boast_v never_o somuch_o of_o their_o greatness_n yet_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o it_o be_v much_o hearty_a affection_n for_o if_o there_o be_v any_o counterfeit_n in_o our_o do_n so_o as_o we_o make_v a_o great_a show_n before_o man_n

saint_n paul_n therefore_o perceive_v that_o this_o vice_n be_v so_o root_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o mynd_v too_o redress_v it_o sheweth_z that_o it_o be_v right_a and_o that_o it_o become_v every_o man_n too_o employ_v himself_o thereunto_o and_o that_o although_o there_o be_v any_o such_o sturdiness_n in_o we_o as_o will_v not_o suffer_v we_o too_o be_v subject_a too_o our_o superior_n yet_o this_o rightfulness_n 〈◊〉_d god_n that_o be_v too_o say_v the_o rule_n that_o he_o have_v set_v must_v overwey_a it_o for_o when_o he_o say_v it_o be_v right_a or_o rightful_a he_o bring_v we_o back_o follow_v that_o which_o saint_n paul_n tell_v we_o here_o that_o be_v too_o wit_n that_o all_o that_o ever_o god_n have_v utter_v by_o his_o word_n be_v rightful_a and_o that_o we_o also_o must_v avow_v it_o too_o be_v so_o without_o gainsay_v for_o the_o true_a proof_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o obedience_n be_v that_o when_o we_o think_v that_o this_o or_o that_o ought_v not_o to_o have_v be_v sauce_v as_o you_o will_v say_v with_o nurture_n and_o correction_n of_o god_n then_o be_v there_o on_o the_o one_o side_n nourishment_n that_o be_v too_o say_v kindness_n and_o gentleness_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n chastyzement_n and_o discipline_n that_o child_n may_v be_v hold_v in_o awe_n and_o not_o be_v suffer_v too_o be_v wanton_a and_o unruly_a but_o so_o bring_v up_o in_o the_o the_o case_n concern_v the_o do_n of_o any_o duty_n towards_o man_n for_o if_o we_o stick_v too_o creature_n we_o will_v say_v come_v we_o not_o all_o out_o of_o the_o ark_n of_o no_o why_o shall_v he_o be_v better_o esteem_v than_o i_o be_v it_o meet_v that_o i_o shall_v be_v put_v under_o his_o foot_n what_o reason_n be_v that_o and_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o word_n which_o we_o hear_v every_o day_n for_o we_o have_v skill_n enough_o too_o allege_v exemption_n and_o so_o little_o do_v we_o think_v ourselves_o bind_v unto_o other_o that_o we_o think_v all_o other_o bind_v unto_o we_o if_o we_o be_v not_o thorough_o persuade_v of_o that_o we_o may_v well_o make_v some_o fair_a countenance_n and_o please_v man_n but_o out_o mind_n shall_v never_o be_v right_a and_o well_o dispose_v all_o degree_n and_o that_o he_o have_v superiority_n over_o the_o world_n will_v have_v every_o man_n employ_v himself_o with_o all_o humbleness_n and_o that_o all_o subjection_n which_o he_o have_v
