but_o that_o he_o shall_v stout_o conquer_v and_o manful_o subdue_v all_o his_o enemy_n and_o final_o obtain_v such_o a_o kingdom_n on_o earth_n as_o never_o be_v see_v from_o the_o beginning_n the_o beginning_a proceed_v and_o success_n of_o idolatry_n by_o image_n and_o the_o great_a contention_n in_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n about_o they_o to_o the_o great_a trouble_n and_o decay_v of_o christendom_n and_o withal_o you_o have_v hear_v the_o sentence_n of_o old_a ancient_a father_n and_o godly_a learned_a doctor_n and_o bishop_n against_o image_n and_o idolatry_n take_v out_o of_o their_o own_o writing_n it_o remain_v that_o such_o reason_n as_o be_v make_v for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o image_n and_o excessive_a paint_v gyld_a and_o deck_v aswell_o of_o they_o as_o of_o the_o temple_n or_o church_n also_o be_v answer_v and_o confute_v partly_o by_o application_n of_o some_o place_n before_o allege_v to_o their_o reason_n and_o partly_o by_o otherwise_o answer_v the_o same_o which_o part_n have_v the_o last_o place_n in_o this_o treatise_n for_o that_o it_o can_v not_o be_v well_o understand_v of_o the_o mean_a sort_n nor_o the_o argument_n of_o image_n word_n that_o the_o image_n of_o god_n the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n either_o several_o or_o the_o image_n of_o the_o trinity_n which_o we_o have_v in_o every_o church_n be_v by_o the_o scripture_n express_o and_o direct_o forbid_v and_o condemn_v as_o appear_v by_o these_o place_n the_o lord_n speak_v unto_o you_o out_o of_o the_o middle_n of_o fire_n you_o hear_v the_o
