for_o all_o from_o all_o which_o i_o form_v these_o argument_n answ._n before_o the_o mounsieurs_fw-fr argument_n rush_n upon_o we_o too_o faâ—…t_o for_o clarity_n sake_n i_o will_v first_o expound_v these_o passage_n in_o our_o catholic_n sense_n and_o after_o will_v answer_v his_o arment_n in_o order_n by_o these_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n in_o his_o first_o passage_n viz._n jesus_n christ_n offer_v not_o himself_o often_o as_o the_o high_a priestss_n &c._n &c._n we_o understand_v they_o thus_o that_o he_o do_v not_o offer_v himself_o often_o bloody_o or_o that_o he_o do_v not_o offer_v a_o bloody_a sacrifice_n yearly_a as_o the_o high_a priest_n of_o the_o old_a law_n use_v to_o do_v and_o so_o we_o understand_v all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o word_n of_o the_o same_o passage_n in_o the_o same_o sense_n viz._n of_o a_o bloody_a sacrifice_n for_o it_o be_v unnecessary_a and_o also_o impossible_a that_o christ_n shall_v suffer_v again_o his_o body_n be_v now_o glorious_a and_o impassable_a but_o although_o this_o passage_n denotate_n a_o difference_n betwixt_o christ_n bloody_a sacrifice_n and_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o old_a law_n in_o as_o much_o as_o christ_n bloody_a sacrifice_n be_v but_o for_o once_o and_o their_o bloody_a sacrifice_n be_v yearly_a yet_o his_o bloody_a sacrifice_n have_v no_o opposition_n to_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n but_o only_o accidental_o in_o this_o viz._n that_o the_o one_o be_v a_o bloody_a sacrifice_n and_o the_o other_o a_o unbloudy_a one_o notwithstanding_o which_o accidental_a difference_n the_o sacrifice_n remain_v essential_o one_o and_o the_o selfsame_a and_o to_o reiterate_v the_o same_o thing_n though_o never_o so_o often_o cause_v no_o opposition_n in_o the_o thing_n to_o itself_o as_o any_o body_n of_o the_o mean_a understanding_n may_v easy_o see_v for_o nothing_o can_v be_v essential_o opposite_a to_o itself_o as_o the_o very_a light_n of_o nature_n show_v we_o the_o first_o word_n of_o the_o second_o passage_n out_o of_o heb._n 10._o do_v more_o confirm_v our_o doctrine_n then_o the_o mounsieurs_fw-fr for_o these_o word_n the_o law_n have_v a_o shadow_n of_o good_a thing_n to_o come_v and_o not_o the_o very_a image_n of_o the_o thing_n etc._n etc._n show_v the_o great_a difference_n that_o be_v between_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n and_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o old_a law_n for_o the_o old_a sacrifice_n be_v but_o mere_a speculative_a shadow_n of_o christ_n bloody_a sacrifice_n and_o consequent_o of_o themselves_o be_v of_o no_o value_n or_o force_v to_o sanctify_v people_n or_o to_o remit_v sin_n whereas_o according_a to_o our_o doctrine_n the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n be_v not_o a_o mere_a shadow_n but_o a_o perfect_a immediate_a idea_n or_o image_n and_o daily_o actual_a remembrance_n of_o christ_n bloody_a passion_n nay_o the_o selfsame_a in_o essence_n with_o the_o bloody_a sacrifice_n as_o all_o the_o doctor_n of_o the_o church_n
