which_o we_o may_v see_v what_o need_n there_o be_v to_o watch_v over_o ourselves_o in_o these_o thing_n lest_o our_o liberty_n be_v turn_v into_o licentiousness_n and_o lest_o we_o grow_v either_o idle_a or_o carnal_a on_o that_o day_n let_v we_o then_o consider_v how_o far_o this_o rest_n extend_v and_o under_o it_o we_o take_v in_o 1._o the_o rest_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n outward_a and_o prohibit_v for_o this_o rest_n be_v not_o primary_o command_v and_o require_v for_o itself_o but_o as_o conduce_v and_o subordinate_a unto_o the_o perform_n of_o holy_a duty_n in_o it_o therefore_o from_o the_o jew_n and_o to_o which_o they_o be_v tie_v we_o speak_v not_o here_o of_o ceremonial_n for_o so_o their_o whole_a service_n may_v be_v more_o burdensome_a than_o we_o and_o particular_o their_o sabbath-service_n because_o they_o be_v double_v on_o that_o day_n but_o of_o moral_a duty_n and_o in_o that_o respect_n we_o say_v that_o the_o tie_n and_o obligation_n unto_o the_o sanctification_n of_o this_o day_n be_v equal_a and_o alike_o unto_o we_o with_o they_o which_o be_v clear_a in_o particular_n for_o 1._o it_o tie_v we_o now_o to_o as_o long_a time_n to_o wit_n a_o service_n but_o this_o whole_a day_n be_v to_o be_v use_v so_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v this_o whole_a day_n throughout_o as_o in_o the_o time_n of_o pray_v on_o other_o day_n 4._o duty_n will_v be_v multiply_v that_o day_n more_o secret_a and_o private_a prayer_n reading_n etc._n etc._n and_o more_o public_a worship_n even_o as_o there_o be_v double_a sacrifice_n that_o day_n under_o the_o law_n for_o 1._o moses_n gen._n 1._o divide_v the_o natural_a day_n in_o morning_n and_o evening_n which_o two_o put_v together_o make_v up_o the_o whole_a day_n and_o these_o six_o day_n make_v up_o each_o they_o be_v to_o be_v sanctify_v as_o sabbath_n yet_o that_o they_o be_v to_o begin_v in_o the_o evening_n before_o be_v add_v as_o a_o special_a solemnity_n of_o these_o solemn_a time_n and_o therefore_o the_o example_n or_o instance_n of_o these_o will_v not_o be_v concludent_fw-la here_o to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o what_o we_o assert_v but_o rather_o to_o the_o contrary_a see_v there_o morning_n and_o that_o in_o proper_a speech_n here_o use_v be_v absurd_a and_o seem_v also_o to_o be_v as_o impossible_a i_o â—_o nature_n to_o wit_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o consequent_a and_o posterior_n evening_n or_o afternoon_n without_o a_o precede_a morning_n or_o forenoon_n as_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o effect_n without_o a_o cause_n or_o 3._o it_o must_v be_v the_o evening_n follow_v its_o own_o morning_n and_o so_o that_o morning_n must_v be_v last_o precede_v the_o first_o evening_n record_v gen._n 1._o the_o evening_n and_o the_o morning_n be_v the_o first_o day_n which_o to_o affirm_v will_v not_o only_o be_v absurd_a but_o will_v also_o manifest_o fasten_v the_o loss_n of_o a_o day_n time_n on_o the_o scripture_n calculation_n and_o it_o seem_v hard_o in_o all_o speech_n and_o scripture-phrase_n to_o put_v the_o evening_n before_o its_o own_o morning_n see_v there_o must_v be_v both_o morning_n and_o evening_n in_o each_o day_n neither_o do_v the_o
