that_o inhabit_v far_o eastward_o be_v by_o many_o hour_n soon_o than_o unto_o they_o that_o live_v as_o far_o remote_a unto_o the_o west_n so_o then_o with_o submission_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v general_o and_o all_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n throughout_o all_o succeed_a age_n until_o now_o must_v be_v censure_v and_o condemn_v as_o live_v and_o die_v and_o this_o as_o be_v most_o likely_a without_o repentance_n in_o a_o sinful_a practice_n against_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n which_o be_v a_o hard_a sentence_n and_o hardly_o christian_n for_o a_o inconsiderable_a party_n of_o man_n to_o pass_v upon_o the_o great_a congregation_n of_o the_o first-born_a in_o all_o their_o generation_n for_o it_o be_v sufficient_o know_v that_o these_o do_v not_o walk_v in_o the_o observation_n time_n or_o other_o actual_o read_v by_o this_o light_n the_o apostle_n suppose_v that_o the_o gentile_n which_o have_v not_o the_o law_n do_v or_o may_v do_v by_o nature_n the_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o law_n meaning_n the_o thing_n in_o the_o law_n which_o be_v natural_o moral_a hereby_o show_v

heathen_a be_v inquisitive_a after_o the_o learning_n manner_n and_o practice_n of_o foreign_a nation_n as_o many_o of_o they_o be_v do_v by_o hear-say_n among_o many_o other_o jewish_a notion_n doctrine_n and_o custom_n express_a mention_n whereof_o be_v find_v in_o several_a of_o their_o writing_n come_v to_o understand_v what_o they_o the_o jew_n hold_v and_o practise_v about_o the_o seven_o or_o sabbath-day_n also_o and_o do_v according_o insert_v some_o particular_n of_o their_o knowledge_n in_o this_o kind_n in_o their_o writing_n as_o hesiod_n homer_n callimachus_n and_o other_o but_o nothing_o can_v be_v so_o much_o as_o probable_o conclude_v from_o hence_o that_o therefore_o they_o know_v anything_o by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n concern_v the_o holiness_n which_o god_n by_o special_a institution_n as_o we_o hear_v have_v put_v upon_o that_o seven_o day_n of_o which_o the_o four_o commandment_n speak_v much_o more_o probable_a it_o be_v that_o they_o may_v have_v some_o glimmering_n of_o a_o apprehension_n that_o such_o a_o proportion_n of_o time_n as_o one_o day_n in_o seven_o be_v reasonable_a and_o fit_v for_o intermission_n of_o bodily_a labour_n that_o they_o may_v be_v at_o liberty_n to_o attend_v upon_o religious_a affair_n but_o unless_o we_o shall_v suppose_v that_o which_o i_o suppose_v be_v never_o suppose_v or_o affirm_v by_o any_o helpful_a unto_o they_o not_o to_o dispose_v of_o themselves_o in_o marriage_n without_o their_o consent_n not_o to_o disclose_v their_o secret_n not_o to_o hold_v familiarity_n with_o their_o know_a age_v be_v a_o kind_n of_o superior_a and_o such_o by_o nature_n unto_o he_o who_o year_n be_v but_o few_o comparative_o the_o superiority_n of_o the_o husband_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o wife_n be_v best_a refer_v to_o this_o kind_n also_o he_o that_o excel_v in_o spiritual_a gift_n and_o ability_n for_o edification_n be_v a_o kind_n of_o superior_a likewise_o in_o respect_n of_o those_o who_o be_v beneath_o he_o in_o such_o endowment_n that_o of_o master_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o servant_n more_o proper_o belong_v to_o the_o second_o which_o we_o call_v politic_a quest_n 75._o what_o be_v the_o duty_n which_o young_a person_n owe_v unto_o those_o that_o be_v ancient_a answ_n to_o rise_v up_o before_o they_o to_o give_v they_o precedency_n of_o place_n and_o liberty_n to_o speak_v first_o or_o before_o they_o to_o submit_v themselves_o unto_o they_o etc._n etc._n but_o these_o be_v to_o be_v repute_v duty_n belong_v to_o the_o young_a in_o reference_n to_o the_o age_a only_o in_o ordinary_a case_n and_o when_o either_o both_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o be_v private_a person_n or_o at_o least_o when_o the_o young_a be_v such_o for_o otherwise_o if_o the_o young_a be_v either_o in_o respect_n of_o some_o political_a or_o ecclesiastical_a office_n superior_a to_o he_o that_o be_v ancient_a and_o a_o private_a man_n which_o be_v a_o case_n that_o frequent_o occurr_n the_o order_n of_o nature_n in_o this_o case_n be_v to_o give_v place_n to_o the_o order_n as_o well_o of_o civil_a as_o of_o ecclesiastical_a or_o church-constitution_n and_o the_o duty_n mention_v by_o neglect_v his_o counsel_n or_o desire_n his_o kindred_n or_o friend_n by_o wastfulnesse_n of_o his_o estate_n by_o slothfulness_n or_o carelessness_n in_o those_o household_n affair_n which_o appertain_v to_o her_o inspection_n and_o care_n by_o impatience_n or_o discontentednesse_n under_o such_o trouble_n or_o cross_n which_o be_v daily_o incident_a unto_o the_o best_a family_n by_o a_o unseemly_a fierceness_n or_o sharpness_n of_o carriage_n towards_o child_n or_o servant_n by_o affect_v over-cost_o or_o garish_a attire_n by_o any_o leight_n wanton_a or_o suspicious_a behaviour_n by_o frequent_v place_n or_o company_n which_o he_o dislike_v by_o any_o expression_n of_o a_o profane_a or_o ungracious_a spirit_n by_o not_o give_v her_o best_a assistance_n unto_o he_o that_o god_n may_v be_v daily_a and_o due_o worship_v in_o the_o family_n with_o other_o the_o like_a quest_n 77._o what_o be_v require_v of_o those_o that_o inferior_a in_o gift_n or_o ability_n for_o edification_n as_o in_o wisdom_n knowledge_n utterance_n tongue_n etc._n etc._n by_o way_n of_o duty_n towards_o those_o who_o god_n in_o such_o endowment_n have_v make_v superior_a to_o they_o answ_n
