necessary_o lead_v we_o unto_o this_o interpretation_n for_o when_o he_o not_o only_o make_v it_o a_o day_n of_o abstain_v from_o all_o work_n and_o spend_v it_o whole_o in_o god_n service_n public_o the_o most_o or_o not_o so_o serious_o think_v upon_o but_o also_o further_o they_o therein_o and_o as_o we_o find_v by_o experience_n how_o needful_a it_o be_v to_o have_v a_o sabbath_n to_o put_v we_o in_o mind_n of_o and_z to_z further_o we_o in_o god_n service_n for_o how_o few_o do_v it_o at_o all_o or_o as_o they_o shall_v upon_o the_o week_n day_n and_o then_o what_o will_v they_o do_v if_o there_o be_v no_o sabbath_n at_o all_o so_o the_o godly_a no_o doubt_n in_o those_o day_n do_v find_v by_o their_o own_o experience_n that_o though_o they_o have_v oftentimes_o cause_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o the_o punishment_n of_o they_o to_o fast_v public_o and_o private_o yet_o if_o they_o have_v have_v no_o set_a time_n appoint_v for_o it_o they_o shall_v very_o often_o have_v fail_v in_o so_o necessary_a a_o duty_n even_o as_o we_o see_v among_o ourselves_o that_o because_o we_o have_v no_o such_o time_n appoint_v for_o we_o that_o very_o few_o though_o they_o have_v great_a cause_n do_v practice_v it_o at_o any_o time_n therefore_o this_o be_v god_n goodness_n to_o that_o people_n to_o give_v they_o such_o a_o commandment_n us._n how_o far_o he_o that_o be_v fast_v be_v not_o take_v away_o for_o though_o we_o be_v not_o tie_v to_o that_o yearly_a day_n yet_o we_o be_v bind_v at_o sometime_o
we_o be_v contagious_a and_o so_o may_v easy_o spread_v even_o unto_o we_o quick_o by_o they_o that_o come_v from_o the_o place_n infect_v as_o thus_o it_o have_v come_v to_o many_o place_n a_o far_o off_o already_o therefore_o in_o respect_n of_o all_o these_o we_o be_v bind_v by_o god_n law_n to_o give_v ourselves_o to_o fast_v and_o prayer_n as_o well_o as_o the_o jew_n be_v though_o we_o be_v jewish_a sabbath_n be_v take_v away_o which_o be_v upon_o the_o saturday_n yet_o whether_o we_o consider_v the_o end_n of_o fast_v or_o of_o sanctify_v a_o day_n of_o rest_n we_o be_v still_o bind_v to_o keep_v one_o in_o seven_o and_o this_o one_o that_o we_o do_v and_o we_o have_v as_o much_o need_n of_o it_o as_o the_o jew_n have_v so_o we_o may_v say_v of_o the_o day_n of_o fast_v though_o that_o prescript_n day_n be_v take_v away_o yet_o if_o we_o consider_v the_o end_n and_o cause_n of_o it_o namely_o to_o humble_v we_o for_o our_o sin_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o it_o still_o upon_o some_o day_n and_o have_v as_o much_o need_n of_o it_o as_o ever_o they_o have_v therefore_o we_o must_v be_v persuade_v that_o now_o god_n do_v require_v it_o of_o we_o and_o not_o only_o the_o it_o of_o we_o more_o than_o ever_o he_o do_v in_o our_o time_n for_o we_o have_v not_o know_v so_o great_a a_o plague_n why_o shall_v we_o not_o now_o by_o the_o practice_n of_o fast_v both_o for_o our_o own_o good_a and_o to_o stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o our_o enemy_n and_o that_o the_o gospel_n may_v be_v well_o speak_v of_o take_v away_o such_o occasion_n thus_o though_o fast_v be_v but_o a_o the_o godly_a that_o we_o abstain_v breakfast_n and_o dinner_n that_o we_o may_v fast_v from_o evening_n to_o evening_n and_o beside_o this_o general_a liberty_n or_o licentiousness_n rather_o which_o they_o give_v unto_o all_o some_o of_o the_o poor_a sort_n and_o servant_n and_o other_o also_o will_v fill_v their_o belly_n of_o purpose_n on_o thursday_n at_o night_n and_o on_o friday_n at_o dinner_n that_o with_o less_o feeling_n to_o themselves_o they_o may_v pass_v away_o their_o fast_n whereas_o it_o be_v requisite_a in_o fast_v that_o we_o shall_v feel_v the_o want_n in_o our_o themselves_o of_o many_o thing_n they_o do_v eat_v and_o drink_v very_o plentiful_o of_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o do_v most_o of_o all_o pamper_v it_o and_o that_o without_o all_o scruple_n of_o drunkard_n and_o weep_v 1.5_o â—el_a 1.5_o and_o howl_v all_o you_o drinker_n of_o wine_n and_o again_o mourn_v like_o a_o virgin_n gird_v â—ith_o sackcloth_n for_o the_o husband_n of_o her_o youth_n of_o time_n shall_v befall_v we_o and_o that_o their_o practice_n must_v be_v our_o imitation_n this_o be_v and_o have_v be_v a_o long_a time_n of_o great_a sorrow_n unto_o we_o â—â—â—ne_n â—hat_n cause_n 〈◊〉_d common_a â—â—rrow_n we_o â—ive_a in_o our_o â—â—â—ne_n if_o we_o do_v right_o consider_v of_o thing_n as_o we_o shall_v for_o if_o there_o have_v be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o loss_n of_o so_o gracious_a virtuous_a &_o peaceable_a a_o queen_n of_o who_o religious_a wise_a &_o peaceable_a government_n we_o have_v have_v experience_n these_o 45._o year_n that_o one_o thing_n may_v james_n so_o quiet_o to_o possess_v his_o heritance_n of_o this_o crown_n who_o royal_a person_n and_o noble_a progeny_n the_o lord_n preserve_v and_o bless_v for_o ever_o when_o unto_o this_o loss_n i_o say_v there_o have_v be_v add_v present_o upon_o the_o neck_n of_o it_o so_o great_a a_o plague_n and_o pestilence_n as_o we_o have_v not_o know_v nor_o have_v be_v hear_v of_o in_o the_o day_n of_o our_o forefather_n that_o it_o shall_v continue_v so_o long_o and_o in_o that_o extremity_n that_o it_o have_v do_v as_o to_o die_v weekly_o so_o many_o thousand_o in_o this_o land_n and_o thus_o town_n corporate_a yea_o in_o the_o sea-coast_n town_n also_o exceed_v much_o so_o that_o many_o house_n in_o they_o be_v leave_v empty_a and_o desolate_a without_o inhabitant_n pestilence_n
