a_o continual_a or_o eternal_a inheritance_n but_o that_o they_o have_v long_o since_o lose_v the_o same_o as_o themselves_o can_v deny_v how_o will_v they_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v that_o they_o must_v have_v sincerity_n of_o faith_n for_o a_o everlasting_a succession_n i_o will_v not_o here_o stand_v to_o examine_v what_o the_o apostle_n mean_v by_o this_o word_n faith_n in_o this_o place_n although_o that_o perchance_o may_v serve_v to_o lay_v their_o brag_n for_o among_o many_o signification_n of_o this_o word_n faith_n there_o be_v two_o that_o may_v especial_o serve_v for_o the_o understanding_n of_o that_o place_n sometime_o faith_n signify_v religion_n itself_o or_o the_o rule_n of_o faith_n as_o it_o be_v take_v in_o this_o question_n what_o faith_n or_o religion_n do_v you_o profess_v or_o be_v you_o of_o and_o in_o this_o sense_n it_o must_v be_v take_v in_o this_o place_n to_o pleasure_v the_o papist_n and_o in_o another_o sense_n faith_n may_v here_o signify_v their_o forwardness_n confidence_n &_o constancy_n in_o this_o their_o religion_n and_o so_o it_o seem_v that_o the_o apostle_n here_o do_v understand_v it_o and_o then_o this_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o these_o word_n it_o be_v speak_v of_o in_o all_o the_o world_n how_o readely_a you_o receive_v &_o constant_o continue_v in_o the_o faith_n and_o thus_o do_v chrisostom_n seem_v to_o expound_v this_o place_n 2._o when_o he_o say_v that_o the_o apostle_n give_v thanks_o for_o their_o faith_n &_o confidence_n as_o if_o he_o will_v by_o the_o latter_a expound_v the_o former_a by_o confidence_n teach_v what_o he_o mean_v by_o faith_n 5._o and_o even_o tho._n of_o aquin_n do_v so_o take_v it_o the_o roman_n say_v he_o be_v commend_v for_o their_o faith_n because_o they_o yield_v to_o it_o it_o may_v appear_v as_o clear_v as_o the_o sun_n at_o noon_n day_n that_o under_o a_o honest_a cloak_n of_o ancient_a religion_n they_o seek_v to_o cover_v their_o new_a find_v superstition_n and_o have_v sully_v the_o fine_a gold_n whereby_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o gold_n be_v blemish_v or_o as_o tare_n and_o weed_n sow_v in_o the_o field_n where_o first_o good_a corn_n be_v sow_v whereby_o the_o grow_a of_o the_o good_a corn_n be_v hinder_v but_o what_o so_o ever_o the_o apostle_n saint_n paul_n write_v to_o the_o roman_n do_v teach_v they_o to_o believe_v whatsoever_o faith_n he_o will_v have_v they_o to_o hold_v that_o we_o acknowledge_v to_o be_v in_o deed_n the_o true_a roman_a faith_n in_o the_o which_o he_o be_v desirous_a to_o confirm_v and_o strengthen_v they_o by_o
