man_n judge_v over_o all_o kind_n of_o life_n over_o the_o law_n &_o decree_n of_o all_o man_n gospel_n and_o over_o all_o doctrine_n whatsoever_o and_o it_o give_v they_o power_n to_o try_v all_o manner_n of_o spirit_n on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o papist_n because_o they_o confound_v &_o mingle_v the_o law_n &_o the_o gospel_n together_o can_v teach_v no_o certainty_n touch_v faith_n work_n the_o state_n &_o condition_n of_o life_n nor_o of_o the_o difference_n of_o spirit_n now_o therefore_o after_o that_o paul_n have_v prosecute_v his_o confutation_n and_o argument_n sufficient_o and_o in_o good_a order_n he_o teach_v that_o the_o law_n if_o you_o consider_v his_o true_a and_o perfect_a use_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o as_o a_o certain_a schoolmaster_n to_o lead_v we_o unto_o righteousness_n for_o it_o humble_v man_n law_n &_o make_v they_o apt_a to_o receive_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n when_o it_o do_v his_o own_o proper_a work_n and_o office_n that_o be_v but_o rather_o confirm_v they_o true_a it_o be_v that_o it_o do_v not_o accomplish_v the_o promise_n nor_o bring_v righteousness_n notwithstanding_o it_o humble_v we_o with_o his_o exercise_n and_o false_a and_o detestable_a doctrine_n he_o have_v deface_v darken_a and_o utter_o bury_v the_o benefit_n of_o christ_n &_o in_o the_o steed_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o kingdom_n he_o have_v establish_v the_o doctrine_n of_o work_n and_o the_o kingdom_n of_o ceremony_n and_o have_v confirm_v the_o same_o with_o mere_a trifle_n and_o dote_a dream_n and_o by_o this_o mean_v he_o have_v wrest_v the_o whole_a world_n out_o of_o christ_n hand_n who_o alone_o ought_v to_o reign_v in_o the_o conscience_n &_o have_v throw_v it_o down_o headlong_o into_o hell_n grace_n hereby_o we_o may_v easy_o understand_v what_o it_o be_v to_o reject_v and_o refuse_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n even_o to_o seek_v righteousness_n by_o the_o law_n now_o who_o have_v ever_o hear_v that_o a_o man_n by_o keep_v of_o the_o law_n reject_v grace_n do_v we_o then_o sin_n in_o keep_v of_o the_o law_n no_o forsooth_o but_o we_o despise_v grace_n when_o we_o observe_v the_o law_n to_o this_o end_n that_o we_o may_v be_v justify_v through_o it_o the_o law_n be_v good_a holy_a and_o profitable_a and_o yet_o it_o justify_v not_o he_o than_o that_o keep_v the_o law_n to_o be_v justify_v thereby_o
