tradition_n which_o be_v give_v forth_o as_o the_o apostle_n have_v be_v be_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v such_o and_o for_o this_o cause_n they_o be_v always_o to_o be_v examine_v whether_o they_o have_v this_o irenaeus_n his_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d agreement_n with_o the_o canonical_a scripture_n the_o xxiii_o chapter_n of_o the_o subtlety_n and_o deceitfulness_n of_o sophister_n which_o use_v guileful_o the_o word_n tradition_n which_o be_v diverse_o take_v we_o have_v hitherto_o show_v that_o it_o be_v all_o one_o doctrine_n which_o the_o apostle_n publish_v with_o lively_a voice_n and_o which_o the_o canonical_a scripture_n set_v forth_o we_o have_v also_o declare_v how_o vain_o the_o papist_n reason_n that_o many_o thing_n which_o be_v necessary_a for_o the_o instruction_n of_o faith_n and_o order_n of_o manner_n although_o they_o can_v be_v prove_v by_o no_o testimony_n of_o scripture_n be_v nevertheless_o to_o be_v receive_v and_o believe_v forth_o of_o the_o naked_a tradition_n wherefore_o this_o be_v always_o to_o be_v hold_v which_o we_o cite_v late_o forth_o of_o augustine_n 6._o that_o faith_n be_v learn_v forth_o of_o the_o scripture_n there_o be_v often_o time_n mention_v make_v of_o tradition_n by_o the_o ancient_a writer_n but_o not_o to_o this_o end_n that_o our_o faith_n shall_v run_v out_o of_o the_o scripture_n wherein_o they_o always_o enclose_v be_v to_o be_v think_v of_o every_o one_o of_o they_o lest_o all_o without_o difference_n be_v apply_v to_o the_o defence_n of_o corruption_n abuse_n and_o superstition_n let_v we_o therefore_o distinguish_v tradition_n into_o certain_a kind_n first_o 1.8_o the_o father_n by_o this_o word_n tradition_n oftentimes_o understand_v the_o canonical_a scripture_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n as_o when_o cyprian_n to_o pompeius_n say_v from_o whence_o be_v this_o tradition_n whether_o descend_v from_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o of_o the_o evangelist_n or_o come_v from_o the_o commandment_n and_o epistle_n of_o the_o apostle_n for_o that_o those_o thing_n ought_v to_o be_v do_v which_o be_v write_v god_o witness_v and_o propose_v to_o josuah_n say_v let_v not_o the_o book_n of_o this_o law_n depart_v out_o of_o thy_o mouth_n that_o thou_o may_v observe_v and_o do_v according_a to_o all_o that_o be_v write_v
