must_v confess_v their_o doctrine_n in_o this_o point_n to_o be_v a_o error_n or_o else_o that_o the_o whole_a general_a church_n since_o christ_n have_v err_v fundamental_o which_o be_v not_o far_o from_o haeresy_n and_o blasphemy_n and_o i_o earnest_o do_v pray_v they_o to_o consider_v of_o this_o point_n object_n church_n and_o father_n have_v exceed_o differ_v among_o themselves_o in_o all_o time_n here_o shall_v we_o make_v their_o judgement_n and_o consent_n to_o be_v a_o rule_n of_o our_o doctrine_n and_o practice_n answ_n this_o be_v soon_o answer_v because_o i_o speak_v not_o of_o peace_n one_o with_o another_o and_o that_o ceremony_n as_o inconvenient_a as_o our_o ceremony_n be_v suppose_v to_o be_v &_o in_o some_o respect_n fit_a to_o be_v abolish_v yet_o may_v they_o be_v retain_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v practise_v to_o prevent_v the_o division_n of_o brethren_n disquiet_v of_o the_o church_n &_o hindrance_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o there_o be_v few_o point_n wherein_o they_o agree_v more_o constant_o then_o in_o this_o object_n we_o be_v command_v to_o call_v no_o man_n our_o teacher_n upon_o earth_n because_o one_o be_v our_o doctor_n and_o teacher_n even_o christ_n mat._n 23._o 8._o 10._o there_o be_v one_o law_n giver_n jam._n 4._o 12._o answ_n this_o objection_n be_v much_o urge_v by_o brownist_n as_o some_o of_o the_o other_o be_v but_o what_o 2._o both_o sort_n be_v prescribe_v and_o practise_v by_o the_o holy_a apostle_n 3._o both_o sort_n have_v the_o same_o rule_n ground_n or_o end_n of_o practice_n namely_o necessity_n expediency_n cypher_n yea_o by_o this_o reason_n abstain_v from_o blood_n and_o strangle_v must_v needs_o be_v ceremony_n though_o they_o will_v not_o have_v it_o so_o which_o may_v further_o appear_v because_o it_o be_v one_o distinction_n of_o the_o ceremony_n of_o moses_n law_n that_o they_o be_v either_o of_o action_n as_o circumcision_n or_o of_o abstinence_n as_o abstain_v from_o swine_n flesh_n blood_n and_o strangle_v because_o they_o have_v signification_n and_o be_v shadow_n of_o good_a thing_n to_o come_v and_o therefore_o ceremony_n last_o because_o ceremonial_a duty_n and_o therefore_o ceremony_n see_v they_o be_v include_v under_o and_o command_v by_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n of_o god_n and_o so_o receive_v denomination_n from_o that_o law_n which_o last_o reason_n my_o brethren_n themselves_o do_v give_v hereof_o therefore_o by_o their_o confession_n they_o be_v ceremony_n but_o they_o add_v that_o i_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v that_o the_o apostle_n or_o church_n do_v use_v they_o as_o ceremony_n or_o as_o in_o obedience_n to_o that_o law_n and_o i_o say_v again_o suppose_v i_o never_o go_v about_o to_o prove_v it_o what_o need_v i_o to_o do_v it_o flesh_n or_o from_o marriage_n for_o the_o win_v of_o a_o papist_n and_o of_o paul_n depart_v from_o his_o right_n be_v of_o no_o value_n to_o the_o second_o and_o three_o member_n concern_v the_o number_n and_o often_o use_v of_o the_o ceremony_n allege_v i_o answer_v that_o albeit_o they_o grant_v but_o six_o of_o the_o jewish_a ceremony_n and_o allege_v nine_o and_o forty_o ceremony_n of_o
