carefulness_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o may_v be_v well_o let_v pass_v and_o from_o the_o search_v out_o of_o the_o true_a doctrine_n of_o christ_n to_o induce_v to_o we_o those_o thing_n wherein_o few_o can_v consent_v a_o like_a and_o final_o by_o the_o which_o he_o kindle_v in_o diverse_a man_n a_o zeal_n to_o purge_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v without_o we_o thereby_o to_o neglect_v our_o inward_a deformity_n and_o sing_v whatsoever_o we_o do_v either_o in_o word_n or_o deed_n both_o private_o and_o public_o we_o ought_v to_o do_v it_o in_o the_o name_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n geve_v thanks_n by_o he_o to_o god_n the_o father_n sure_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n no_o less_o circumspect_o to_o beware_v that_o we_o neither_o do_v nor_o leave_v undo_v any_o thing_n whereof_o we_o have_v not_o sure_a or_o certain_a authority_n out_o of_o god_n word_n touch_v our_o action_n and_o matter_n domestical_a and_o ecclesiastical_a it_o be_v always_o and_o in_o all_o free_a to_o the_o church_n of_o god_n i_o call_v that_o free_a use_n wherein_o godly_a man_n use_v thing_n create_v of_o god_n without_o any_o superstition_n &_o to_o a_o certain_a edify_n of_o their_o faith_n in_o christ_n i_o very_o as_o i_o have_v confess_v unto_o you_o &_o have_v declare_v in_o deed_n unto_o our_o countryman_n have_v rather_o that_o no_o kind_n of_o vesture_n which_o the_o papist_n use_v be_v retain_v amongst_o we_o and_o that_o both_o for_o the_o more_o full_a detestation_n of_o the_o antichristian_a priesthood_n and_o also_o for_o plain_a advouching_n of_o christian_a liberty_n yea_o and_o to_o be_v short_a for_o the_o avoid_n of_o dangerous_a contention_n among_o the_o brethren_n though_o notwithstanding_o i_o will_v have_v the_o minister_n of_o church_n to_o use_v sage_a vesture_n and_o such_o whereby_o they_o may_v be_v discern_v from_o other_o man_n but_o chief_o i_o will_v all_o the_o discipline_n of_o christ_n to_o be_v in_o force_n among_o we_o yet_o i_o can_v not_o be_v bring_v by_o any_o scripture_n as_o far_o as_o i_o see_v hitherto_o to_o deny_v that_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o christ_n church_n may_v use_v without_o superstition_n and_o to_o a_o certain_a edification_n of_o faith_n in_o christ_n any_o of_o those_o vesture_n which_o the_o antichristians_n abuse_v for_o what_o shall_v let_v but_o that_o the_o church_n may_v use_v that_o white_a vesture_n or_o more_o vesture_n to_o monish_v we_o precise_o of_o that_o divine_a benefit_n which_o he_o by_o the_o holy_a ministry_n of_o the_o church_n deal_v unto_o we_o the_o benefit_n i_o say_v of_o the_o light_n and_o dignity_n of_o that_o heavenly_a doctrine_n and_o by_o the_o which_o also_o the_o minister_n themselves_o may_v be_v the_o more_o mindful_a of_o their_o office_n and_o have_v both_o for_o it_o and_o by_o the_o admonishment_n of_o that_o outward_a token_n in_o great_a reverence_n of_o the_o common_a people_n of_o the_o church_n whether_o we_o will_v or_o nay_o we_o be_v compel_v to_o confess_v that_o the_o ensign_n of_o they_o that_o bear_v public_a office_n help_v some_o thing_n to_o retain_v &_o increase_v the_o authority_n of_o magistrate_n &_o public_a power_n if_o other_o thing_n want_v not_o by_o the_o which_o the_o true_a reverence_n be_v give_v unto_o they_o for_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o join_v with_o those_o ensign_n they_o induce_v not_o a_o veneration_n but_o rather_o the_o singular_a detestation_n of_o they_o who_o unworthy_o use_v these_o note_n of_o virtue_n sign_n in_o deed_n be_v sign_n and_o not_o the_o thing_n yet_o how_o much_o they_o be_v able_a to_o admonish_v and_o move_v the_o mind_n god_n geve_v the_o increase_n he_o that_o observe_v will_v wonder_v wherefore_o whereas_o otherways_o the_o true_a dignity_n of_o minister_n be_v evident_a and_o if_o any_o particular_a church_n by_o public_a judgement_n do_v consent_n upon_o the_o retain_v of_o certain_a vesture_n only_o for_o the_o commend_v unto_o we_o of_o the_o gift_n of_o god_n which_o he_o give_v by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o church_n &_o for_o to_o put_v the_o young_a and_o rude_a sort_n in_o mind_n without_o all_o superstition_n true_o i_o can_v not_o see_v why_o such_o use_n of_o vesture_n in_o such_o a_o church_n may_v not_o serve_v to_o some_o commendation_n of_o the_o holy_a ministry_n &_o so_o consequent_o to_o the_o edification_n of_o faith_n for_o what_o let_v be_v there_o but_o at_o this_o day_n they_o which_o be_v endue_v with_o the_o same_o spirit_n of_o faith_n may_v use_v a_o few_o sign_n as_o godly_a as_o the_o ancient_a holy_a man_n have_v use_v many_o they_o have_v you_o will_v say_v express_v write_v concern_v the_o use_n of_o their_o sign_n i_o grant_v &_o in_o deed_n it_o make_v much_o touch_v the_o true_a use_n of_o their_o sign_n but_o in_o that_o god_n do_v command_v the_o use_n of_o those_o and_o many_o sign_n we_o certain_o learn_v that_o the_o use_n of_o those_o sign_n may_v serve_v he_o geve_a grace_n to_o promote_v true_a religion_n and_o that_o it_o have_v none_o uncleanness_n in_o itself_o or_o superstition_n neither_o can_v be_v by_o the_o abuse_n of_o the_o wicked_a so_o pollute_v that_o it_o can_v not_o be_v healthful_a to_o godly_a man_n use_v it_o godly_a now_o when_o as_o god_n by_o his_o word_n have_v sanctify_v all_o thing_n by_o our_o prayer_n and_o have_v make_v all_o thing_n pure_a to_o the_o pure_a what_o cause_n can_v we_o allege_v out_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o deny_v that_o god_n will_v not_o bless_v such_o use_n of_o sign_n whereof_o we_o speak_v that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v effectuous_a to_o that_o church_n
