it_o be_v a_o nation_n do_v happen_v as_o memorable_a be_v type_n to_o we_o 1_o cor._n 10.6_o heb._n 10.1_o hence_o arise_v a_o double_a instruction_n first_o a_o reproof_n and_o that_o of_o two_o sort_n of_o man_n first_o of_o those_o who_o from_o this_o place_n will_v fetch_v a_o patronage_n for_o the_o vanity_n of_o their_o wit_n for_o while_o they_o do_v most_o wicked_o corrupt_v the_o whole_a scripture_n by_o their_o foolish_a allegory_n seek_v a_o confirmation_n of_o their_o error_n they_o say_v the_o apostle_n use_v allegorical_a application_n which_o be_v false_a for_o he_o sense_n of_o scripture_n which_o for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v the_o true_a sense_n but_o be_v not_o in_o a_o allegory_n now_o to_o do_v this_o be_v a_o intolerable_a wickedness_n far_o from_o the_o apostle_n for_o he_o do_v not_o weaken_v much_o less_o destroy_v the_o credit_n and_o truth_n of_o the_o thing_n do_v but_o out_o of_o the_o history_n and_o literal_a sense_n as_o a_o shadow_n do_v deduce_v or_o extract_v a_o further_a truth_n signify_v the_o second_o sort_n of_o man_n to_o be_v reprove_v hence_o be_v such_o as_o do_v indeed_o abhor_v allegory_n but_o yet_o do_v exercise_v great_a liberty_n in_o interpretation_n of_o type_n and_o wrest_v they_o at_o their_o pleasure_n for_o as_o every_o imprint_v stamp_n and_o form_n be_v proper_a to_o the_o character_n by_o which_o it_o be_v stamp_v and_o every_o shadow_n be_v peculiar_a to_o it_o own_o body_n so_o every_o type_n be_v a_o express_a representation_n or_o shadow_n of_o the_o pattern_n or_o truth_n to_o which_o what_o outward_a beggary_n be_v how_o reproachful_a how_o miserable_a especial_o where_o the_o estate_n have_v be_v good_a and_o the_o change_n have_v be_v wilful_o make_v through_o misdemeanour_n life_n as_o food_n apparel_n house_n maintenance_n so_o they_o be_v call_v beggar_n as_o touch_v the_o spirit_n who_o be_v destitute_a of_o all_o thing_n needful_a to_o salvation_n such_o as_o be_v the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n faith_n hope_v patience_n love_n holiness_n etc._n etc._n with_o the_o mean_n thereof_o these_o be_v the_o spiritual_a riches_n which_o who_o so_o want_v he_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o mean_n of_o salvation_n and_o of_o the_o sound_n hope_v thereof_o now_o all_o man_n that_o ever_o have_v be_v be_v or_o shall_v be_v be_v such_o poor_a man_n adam_n and_o eve_n be_v enrich_v of_o god_n with_o these_o riches_n we_o have_v speak_v of_o for_o in_o these_o thing_n consist_v the_o image_n of_o god_n ephes_n 4.24_o but_o after_o adam_n and_o eve_n have_v disobey_v
