and_o all_o man_n in_o general_a but_o between_o he_o and_o the_o woman_n seed_n by_o which_o as_o we_o shall_v see_v hereafter_o be_v mean_v both_o christ_n and_o the_o holy_a seed_n such_o as_o be_v member_n of_o he_o so_o that_o in_o this_o expression_n the_o lord_n represent_v especial_o the_o combat_n between_o christ_n and_o satan_n think_v fit_a to_o borrow_v a_o metaphor_n from_o the_o fight_n between_o man_n and_o serpent_n shadow_v out_o satan_n under_o the_o name_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o the_o combat_n between_o christ_n and_o he_o under_o the_o fimilitude_n of_o the_o serpent_n fight_n and_o i_o will_v put_v enmity_n that_o be_v deadly_a and_o irreconcilable_a hatred_n which_o god_n be_v say_v to_o put_v between_o they_o partly_o by_o decree_a and_o permit_v the_o hatred_n of_o satan_n and_o his_o instrument_n against_o the_o godly_a and_o partly_o by_o infuse_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o holy_a seed_n a_o perfect_a detestation_n and_o hatred_n of_o satan_n and_o all_o his_o follower_n thus_o because_o familiarity_n between_o satan_n and_o the_o woman_n have_v give_v he_o advantage_n to_o seduce_v and_o deceive_v she_o to_o her_o own_o three_o end_n the_o quarrel_n the_o beginning_n be_v in_o hatred_n and_o enmity_n the_o continuance_n in_o fight_v and_o wound_v and_o the_o end_n in_o the_o final_a conquest_n of_o satan_n who_o to_o hate_v he_o but_o i_o will_v so_o guide_v and_o over-rule_v his_o heart_n by_o my_o spirit_n that_o he_o shall_v persist_v constant_o in_o this_o hatred_n and_o war_n against_o he_o till_o that_o enemy_n be_v tread_v under_o his_o foot_n thus_o god_n see_v how_o soon_o man_n have_v waste_v that_o stock_n of_o grace_n that_o he_o have_v put_v into_o his_o hand_n resolve_v to_o provide_v better_o for_o he_o in_o time_n to_o come_v and_o to_o keep_v his_o heart_n and_o will_n in_o his_o own_o hand_n guide_v it_o by_o his_o own_o spirit_n that_o he_o may_v not_o hazard_v his_o estate_n any_o more_o nor_o be_v cheat_v of_o it_o by_o satan_n any_o more_o as_o he_o have_v be_v so_o that_o in_o man_n restitution_n after_o his_o fall_n his_o state_n be_v indeed_o impair_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o perfection_n of_o it_o in_o this_o present_a life_n for_o he_o must_v be_v bruise_v in_o the_o heel_n by_o divers_a temptation_n and_o slip_n into_o sin_n thereby_o but_o be_v much_o spirit_n be_v altogether_o uncapable_a yet_o because_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o devil_n be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o their_o prince_n and_o all_o wicked_a man_n that_o be_v corrupt_v by_o
