but_o the_o serpent_n temptation_n continue_v in_o she_o at_o length_n it_o prevail_v so_o far_o in_o she_o to_o bring_v she_o to_o make_v a_o wrong_a use_n of_o that_o understanding_n and_o knowledge_n that_o god_n have_v give_v to_o she_o for_o the_o end_n of_o god_n give_v man_n that_o portion_n of_o understanding_n and_o knowledge_n it_o be_v that_o man_n shall_v improve_v this_o like_o god_n they_o be_v as_o god_n to_o themselves_o for_o as_o god_n make_v all_o thing_n for_o himself_o to_o be_v glorify_v in_o they_o so_o as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v they_o make_v all_o thing_n their_o own_o to_o satisfy_v and_o please_v themselves_o in_o they_o and_o yet_o please_v themselves_o with_o a_o hope_n that_o god_n will_v forgive_v they_o all_o their_o sin_n and_o that_o to_o be_v god_n will_v whether_o it_o be_v god_n will_v or_o no_o and_o have_v prevail_v therein_o with_o man_n than_o the_o tempter_n cause_v man_n to_o see_v a_o good_a in_o what_o man_n once_o see_v to_o be_v a_o evil_a that_o be_v to_o eat_v of_o the_o forbid_a fruit_n and_o in_o that_o man_n once_o see_v such_o a_o evil_a to_o be_v in_o it_o as_o to_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o death_n if_o he_o take_v and_o eat_v thereof_o now_o the_o tempter_n cause_v man_n to_o see_v such_o a_o good_a to_o be_v in_o it_o that_o if_o he_o take_v and_o eat_v of_o it_o he_o shall_v be_v as_o god_n know_v good_a and_o evil_a and_o when_o man_n see_v this_o at_o that_o very_a instant_n of_o time_n the_o desire_n of_o the_o mind_n be_v to_o the_o enjoy_n of_o it_o and_o at_o the_o same_o instant_n of_o time_n he_o take_v and_o eat_v of_o it_o and_o then_o man_n make_v his_o full_a manifestation_n and_o appearance_n of_o his_o go_v out_o of_o obedience_n in_o do_v god_n will_v into_o his_o disobedience_n of_o do_v his_o own_o will_n and_o although_o then_o when_o man_n take_v and_o eat_v there_o be_v the_o full_a discovery_n of_o man_n will_n in_o the_o temptation_n yet_o there_o be_v something_o of_o man_n will_n that_o be_v in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o temptation_n although_o then_o it_o lay_v hide_v the_o substance_n of_o man_n eat_v of_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o forbid_a tree_n consist_v in_o this_o that_o man_n go_v out_o of_o his_o obedience_n to_o god_n which_o he_o be_v once_o in_o and_o so_o be_v in_o the_o do_n of_o god_n will_v and_o go_v into_o the_o disobedience_n in_o the_o do_n of_o his_o own_o will_n which_o man_n know_v nothing_o of_o any_o will_n of_o his_o own_o before_o the_o temptation_n enter_v into_o he_o that_o be_v he_o know_v nothing_o of_o any_o will_n in_o he_o contrary_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o he_o some_o question_n there_o may_v be_v which_o be_v first_o in_o man_n to_o draw_v man_n into_o disobedience_n pride_n or_o will_n they_o be_v so_o near_o join_v and_o unite_v together_o as_o it_o be_v hard_o to_o discern_v which_o of_o they_o be_v first_o but_o i_o believe_v will_n be_v first_o in_o man_n although_o pride_n make_v his_o first_o appearance_n to_o be_v there_o man_n in_o that_o great_a understanding_n and_o knowledge_n that_o he_o have_v of_o god_n be_v therewith_o lift_v up_o with_o pride_n which_o cause_v a_o desire_n in_o he_o to_o be_v as_o god_n but_o what_o be_v that_o which_o so_o lift_v man_n up_o be_v it_o not_o his_o will_n in_o that_o he_o will_v be_v as_o god_n and_o this_o will_v wrought_v in_o the_o earthy_a part_n in_o man_n as_o the_o mole_n do_v in_o the_o ground_n hide_v and_o not_o discern_v the_o earth_n that_o the_o mole_n raise_v up_o be_v first_o see_v before_o the_o mole_n that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o raise_v it_o up_o so_o it_o be_v in_o the_o temptation_n pride_n do_v first_o appear_v before_o the_o will_n that_o raise_v up_o the_o pride_n again_o which_o they_o have_v before_o commit_v and_o yet_o in_o all_o this_o the_o subtle_a serpent_n self_n or_o man_n will_n prevail_v much_o as_o i_o have_v experience_v that_o man_n may_v repent_v that_o he_o have_v sin_v in_o do_v what_o he_o know_v to_o be_v a_o break_n of_o god_n command_n and_o may_v be_v sorrowful_a for_o it_o and_o mourn_v for_o it_o and_o earnest_o pray_v that_o he_o may_v do_v so_o no_o more_o and_o use_v much_o mean_n to_o be_v keep_v from_o sin_v and_o yet_o all_o this_o time_n have_v a_o love_n to_o the_o sin_n but_o for_o fear_v that_o he_o have_v of_o the_o devil_n temptation_n and_o to_o do_v such_o thing_n as_o he_o think_v god_n will_v be_v please_v with_o and_o for_o this_o his_o so_o do_v of_o these_o thing_n he_o think_v to_o find_v acceptance_n with_o god_n and_o all_o this_o may_v be_v do_v for_o a_o self-end_n and_o in_o their_o own_o will_n and_o be_v only_o to_o escape_v the_o punishment_n which_o if_o they_o can_v escape_v the_o punishment_n the_o do_v the_o thing_n that_o god_n have_v forbid_v will_v be_v no_o trouble_n to_o they_o but_o very_o please_v and_o to_o be_v desire_v and_o in_o this_o state_n many_o be_v
