and_o though_o the_o sin_n by_o which_o the_o body_n die_v be_v our_o own_o yet_o that_o we_o may_v know_v that_o the_o righteousness_n whereby_o the_o soul_n live_v be_v not_o of_o ourselves_o but_o receive_v from_o our_o saviour_n there_o be_v a_o caution_n give_v in_o the_o entrance_n of_o the_o verse_n if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o so_o then_o here_o be_v three_o couple_n a_o body_n and_o a_o soul_n sin_n and_o righteousness_n life_n and_o death_n the_o body_n with_o her_o two_o attendant_n sin_n and_o death_n the_o soul_n with_o her_o two_o endowment_n righteousness_n and_o life_n the_o former_a be_v universal_a and_o common_a to_o all_o the_o son_n of_o adam_n according_a to_o the_o flesh_n the_o latter_a particular_a and_o proper_a only_o to_o the_o child_n of_o the_o second_o adam_n beget_v by_o the_o spirit_n if_o christ_n etc._n etc._n i_o begin_v with_o the_o first_o part_n which_o be_v a_o meditation_n of_o death_n and_o our_o chief_a christian_a comfort_n against_o death_n but_o yet_o before_o the_o apostle_n bring_v in_o his_o consolation_n he_o premise_n a_o conditon_n if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o to_o teach_v we_o that_o the_o comfort_n of_o god_n belong_v not_o indifferent_o to_o all_o man_n he_o that_o be_v a_o stranger_n from_o christ_n have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o they_o what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v to_o take_v my_o covenant_n into_o thy_o mouth_n so_o long_o as_o thou_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v say_v god_n in_o the_o psalm_n i._o when_o our_o saviour_n command_v his_o disciple_n to_o proclaim_v peace_n unto_o every_o house_n they_o come_v to_o he_o foretell_v they_o it_o shall_v rest_v only_o on_o the_o son_n of_o peace_n he_o forbid_v they_o in_o like_a manner_n to_o give_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v holy_a unto_o dog_n or_o to_o cast_v pearl_n before_o swine_n this_o stand_v a_o perpetual_a law_n to_o all_o his_o messenger_n that_o they_o presume_v not_o to_o proclaim_v peace_n to_o the_o impenitent_a and_o unbelieving_a but_o as_o jehu_n say_v unto_o jehoram_n horsman_n what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v with_o peace_n so_o be_v we_o to_o tell_v the_o wicked_a who_o walk_v on_o still_o in_o their_o sin_n that_o they_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o the_o peace_n or_o promise_n or_o privilege_n of_o the_o gospel_n if_o christ_n be_v in_o you_o etc._n etc._n second_o if_o we_o compare_v the_o verse_n immediate_o precedent_a or_o that_o which_o be_v subsequent_a with_o this_o between_o both_o you_o shall_v easy_o perceive_v after_o what_o manner_n christ_n dwell_v in_o his_o child_n sometime_o we_o be_v say_v to_o be_v in_o christ_n and_o sometime_o christ_n be_v say_v again_o to_o be_v in_o we_o and_o both_o in_o effect_n come_v to_o one_o we_o be_v in_o christ_n by_o faith_n and_o christ_n be_v in_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n for_o so_o it_o follow_v if_o the_o spirit_n of_o he_o that_o raise_v up_o jesus_n from_o the_o dead_a dwell_v in_o you_o he_o that_o raise_v up_o christ_n from_o the_o dead_a shall_v also_o quicken_v your_o mortal_a body_n it_o be_v
