tread_v down_o and_o as_o be_v not_o so_o much_o design_v to_o destroy_v as_o to_o silence_n and_o subdue_v import_v a_o political_a and_o a_o spiritual_a death_n viz._n as_o to_o their_o exercise_v manifold_a evil_n from_o punishment_n of_o law_n and_o enmity_n of_o their_o prevail_a adversary_n whereas_o the_o persecution_n in_o france_n and_o elsewhere_o be_v against_o a_o religion_n so_o long_o establish_v by_o law_n that_o the_o professor_n of_o it_o receive_v it_o by_o education_n it_o be_v therefore_o like_o a_o national_a religion_n which_o involve_v all_o professor_n true_a or_o false_a and_o so_o have_v multitude_n in_o its_o communion_n not_o so_o much_o from_o principle_n of_o conscience_n as_o the_o influence_n of_o education_n whereby_o the_o truth_n be_v not_o so_o root_v in_o their_o heart_n as_o to_o enable_v they_o to_o abide_v those_o trial_n that_o come_v upon_o they_o but_o this_o account_n of_o the_o slay_v and_o rise_v of_o the_o witness_n though_o enforce_v with_o so_o strong_a reason_n will_v not_o be_v easy_o digest_v by_o those_o who_o so_o high_o esteem_v the_o reformation_n as_o to_o make_v the_o break_n then_o with_o rome_n to_o be_v a_o revive_n of_o the_o same_o design_n which_o before_o have_v produce_v such_o sad_a effect_n and_o which_o now_o become_v more_o eager_o drive_v on_o both_o out_o of_o enmity_n to_o that_o party_n which_o be_v god_n scourge_n for_o the_o former_a pursue_v the_o same_o and_o also_o to_o prevent_v the_o like_a suffering_n from_o they_o again_o by_o a_o total_a suppress_v they_o it_o appear_v therefore_o that_o the_o antichristian_a spirit_n of_o the_o world_n have_v be_v the_o prevail_a or_o predominant_a spirit_n in_o the_o nation_n since_o the_o reformation_n and_o how_o can_v it_o then_o not_o continue_v we_o of_o the_o same_o antichristian-body_n the_o ten-horned-beast_n as_o former_o whatever_o variance_n we_o have_v have_v since_o with_o rome_n and_o be_v refine_v in_o profession_n by_o the_o reformation_n whilst_o the_o same_o antichristian_a spirit_n and_o worldly_a power_n continue_v to_o bear_v sway_n do_v rather_o make_v we_o more_o complete_a member_n of_o
