the_o world_n to_o grace_v he_o at_o his_o birth_n but_o only_o poor_a shepherd_n yea_o this_o be_v a_o great_a stumble_a block_n still_o because_o poor_a man_n receive_v the_o gospel_n it_o hinder_v many_o a_o man_n from_o receive_v the_o truth_n or_o embrace_v religion_n but_o let_v no_o man_n be_v offend_v at_o it_o it_o be_v so_o when_o christ_n come_v into_o the_o world_n the_o pharisee_n ask_v the_o question_n have_v any_o of_o the_o ruler_n or_o of_o the_o pharisee_n beeleve_v on_o he_o those_o that_o be_v learned_a it_o be_v but_o a_o company_n of_o poor_a man_n and_o 1_o cor._n 1._o 26._o say_v the_o apostle_n for_o you_o see_v your_o call_a brethren_n how_o that_o not_o many_o wise_a man_n after_o the_o flesh_n not_o many_o mighty_a not_o many_o noble_a be_v call_v but_o wiseman_n thus_o they_o seek_v christ_n when_o the_o star_n vanish_v away_o they_o seek_v he_o not_o only_a when_o they_o have_v a_o star_n to_o direct_v they_o but_o when_o the_o star_n be_v go_v naughty_a heart_n herod_n heart_n and_o herod_n affection_n but_o why_o be_v herod_n thus_o trouble_v quest_n there_o be_v no_o man_n the_o worse_a for_o christ_n but_o a_o great_a many_o the_o the_o eye_n of_o his_o body_n and_o yet_o perish_v but_o if_o we_o see_v he_o by_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n we_o shall_v be_v save_v therefore_o as_o the_o disciple_n say_v we_o have_v see_v the_o lord_n we_o have_v see_v christ_n though_o we_o have_v lose_v he_o so_o we_o may_v thank_v god_n though_o we_o have_v lose_v christ_n by_o our_o sin_n yet_o that_o we_o have_v see_v he_o again_o and_o acquaint_v they_o with_o his_o rise_n and_o may_v not_o stay_v the_o time_n to_o touch_v christ_n now_o though_o it_o be_v a_o good_a thing_n to_o do_v so_o yet_o she_o must_v prefer_v this_o more_o needful_a thing_n first_o go_v and_o tell_v his_o disciple_n that_o he_o be_v rise_v which_o must_v teach_v we_o that_o we_o must_v apply_v ourselves_o to_o the_o duty_n that_o god_n call_v we_o too_o there_o be_v many_o example_n of_o it_o in_o the_o scripture_n as_o jos_n 7._o 10._o he_o humble_v himself_o fast_v and_o pray_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o joshua_n up_o joshua_n what_o do_v thou_o there_o i_o have_v another_o duty_n for_o thou_o to_o do_v it_o be_v a_o good_a thing_n indeed_o to_o fast_o and_o pray_v but_o i_o will_v not_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v forsake_v i_o yet_o we_o see_v the_o goodness_n and_o kindness_n of_o christ_n that_o he_o put_v a_o special_a term_n of_o dignity_n upon_o they_o go_v and_o tell_v my_o brethren_n partaker_n of_o the_o same_o glory_n and_o immortality_n with_o i_o whereas_o he_o may_v have_v say_v one_o of_o they_o do_v betray_v i_o and_o another_o deny_v i_o and_o all_o of_o they_o do_v shameful_o forsake_v i_o yet_o he_o be_v content_v to_o swallow_v up_o all_o because_o though_o they_o have_v sin_v yet_o they_o sin_v of_o weakness_n they_o have_v repent_v for_o it_o and_o weep_v bitter_o therefore_o christ_n send_v such_o sweet_a term_n and_o call_v they_o brethren_n which_o may_v teach_v we_o that_o although_o we_o fall_v into_o great_a sin_n if_o we_o fall_v of_o weakness_n and_o if_o we_o we_o with_o his_o beam_n of_o goodness_n kindness_n and_o with_o his_o love_n though_o we_o forsake_v he_o yet_o he_o do_v not_o forsake_v we_o three_o 3_o what_o the_o message_n be_v that_o she_o shall_v tell_v his_o brethren_n that_o i_o ascend_v to_o my_o father_n and_o your_o father_n be_v to_o my_o god_n and_o your_o god_n from_o hence_o arise_v a_o twofold_a comfort_n first_o ascension_n make_v intercession_n for_o we_o therefore_o howsoever_o some_o man_n may_v think_v it_o to_o be_v a_o great_a comfort_n to_o have_v christ_n on_o the_o earth_n among_o we_o yet_o it_o be_v a_o far_o great_a comfort_n that_o christ_n be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n to_o procure_v the_o grace_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o reconcile_v we_o unto_o god_n as_o our_o saviour_n say_v john_n 16._o 7._o it_o have_v bring_v they_o home_o to_o the_o company_n of_o believer_n so_o here_o be_v the_o goodness_n and_o kindness_n of_o christ_n not_o only_o to_o manifest_v himself_o to_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o and_o attend_v upon_o good_a mean_n but_o also_o to_o those_o that_o go_v away_o and_o have_v not_o a_o thought_n of_o he_o so_o we_o see_v john_n 7._o the_o woman_n of_o samaria_n that_o come_v to_o draw_v water_n she_o have_v not_o a_o thought_n of_o christ_n and_o yet_o he_o do_v manifest_v himself_o unto_o she_o and_o luke_n 2._o 8._o the_o shepherd_n be_v tend_v their_o flock_n by_o night_n they_o have_v not_o a_o thought_n of_o christ_n come_v but_o the_o angel_n come_v unto_o they_o and_o tell_v they_o that_o christ_n be_v bear_v when_o they_o look_v not_o for_o it_o so_o
