profitable_a provision_n may_v be_v make_v for_o the_o state_n and_o that_o the_o next_o male_a no_o otherwise_o debar_v may_v be_v assume_v into_o her_o place_n especial_o to_o that_o right_n which_o do_v not_o first_o spring_n from_o the_o mother_n so_o exclude_v but_o be_v original_o derive_v and_o propagate_v from_o the_o grandfather_n to_o the_o grandchild_n otherwise_o by_o this_o odious_a enlarge_n another_o absurdity_n in_o justice_n will_v ensue_v that_o the_o near_a collateral_a shall_v be_v exclude_v and_o the_o more_o distant_a and_o remote_a bring_v in_o see_v that_o by_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n and_o of_o nation_n brother_n and_o sister_n and_o their_o son_n be_v prefer_v in_o mutual_a succession_n before_o other_o collateral_n in_o another_o line_n so_o that_o upon_o this_o statute_n which_o be_v make_v in_o favour_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o in_o hatred_n of_o a_o woman_n be_v debar_v from_o the_o kingdom_n occasion_n shall_v arise_v both_o of_o violation_n to_o law_n and_o of_o injury_n to_o such_o male_n as_o be_v descend_v from_o a_o woman_n neither_o can_v we_o conceive_v that_o the_o intent_n of_o the_o law_n here_o mention_v be_v so_o unjust_a as_o that_o the_o mother_n and_o the_o son_n upon_o dislike_n reason_n shall_v be_v condemn_v and_o punish_v alike_o yea_o by_o the_o contrary_a judgement_n of_o the_o same_o law_n whereby_o the_o mother_n be_v expel_v from_o succession_n the_o son_n enter_v into_o the_o same_o degree_n of_o his_o mother_n succee_v in_o her_o place_n like_v unto_o that_o son_n who_o rise_v into_o the_o degree_n of_o his_o father_n or_o mother_n decease_v another_o 8_o reason_n the_o son_n enter_v into_o the_o degree_n of_o his_o mother_n to_o succeed_v his_o grandfather_n 9_o reason_n one_o vexation_n not_o to_o be_v add_v to_o another_o that_o he_o may_v be_v receive_v in_o equal_a term_n with_o his_o uncle_n to_o the_o succession_n of_o his_o grandfather_n that_o so_o the_o sorrowful_a mother_n be_v strip_v of_o her_o royal_a inheritance_n by_o rigour_n of_o this_o statute_n shall_v in_o right_o receive_v some_o solace_n by_o substitution_n of_o her_o son_n and_o not_o one_o heaviness_n to_o be_v heap_v upon_o another_o which_o the_o upright_a consideration_n of_o law_n do_v abhor_v as_o we_o see_v even_o where_o a_o charge_n of_o calamity_n come_v not_o by_o the_o law_n but_o by_o misadventure_n as_o in_o that_o law_n whereby_o the_o custom_n be_v condemn_v which_o permit_v another_o man_n to_o take_v the_o good_n of_o they_o that_o suffer_v shipwreck_n by_o which_o reason_n that_o which_o be_v correct_v in_o express_a disposition_n of_o law_n for_o avoid_v a_o increase_n of_o grief_n be_v more_o strong_o prohibit_v in_o the_o secret_a disposition_n let_v it_o therefore_o more_o than_o full_o suffice_v that_o by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o realm_n of_o france_n the_o mother_n be_v cut_v from_o the_o royal_a stem_n not_o by_o any_o default_n in_o herself_o but_o by_o the_o fact_n of_o nature_n which_o frame_v she_o a_o woman_n and_o that_o by_o express_a law_n she_o suffer_v a_o certain_a shipwrock_n in_o her_o own_o disinherit_n althô_o she_o be_v not_o by_o any_o secret_a consequence_n of_o the_o same_o law_n contrary_a to_o the_o course_n of_o justice_n wreck_v again_o with_o she_o disinherit_v son_n hate_n 10_o reason_n one_o not_o to_o be_v burden_v with_o another_o hate_n and_o so_o against_o all_o rule_n and_o reason_n of_o law_n one_o shall_v be_v burden_v with_o another_o hate_n whereas_o the_o right_a from_o which_o the_o mother_n be_v exclude_v be_v in_o
