the_o whole_a company_n of_o enemy_n which_o find_v room_n enough_o to_o abide_v and_o live_v together_o as_o brethren_n of_o one_o house_n or_o family_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o mind_n of_o every_o covetous_a man_n and_o woman_n who_o lust_n be_v natural_a to_o give_v way_n to_o any_o appearance_n of_o outward_a profit_n or_o gain_v in_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o 〈◊〉_d lust_n be_v such_o a_o subtle_a devil_n that_o it_o teach_v and_o lead_v 〈◊〉_d a_o covetous_a man_n and_o woman_n to_o clothe_v the_o outside_n with_o a_o form_n of_o religion_n which_o be_v but_o a_o child_n of_o their_o own_o lust_n beget_v who_o servant_n they_o be_v to_o who_o they_o obey_v and_o a_o child_n of_o their_o own_o lust_n who_o work_n they_o do_v and_o thus_o be_v the_o scripture_n fulfil_v by_o man_n of_o the_o cross_n can_v be_v take_v up_o by_o they_o that_o love_v any_o thing_n more_o than_o the_o appearance_n of_o god_n holy_a truth_n for_o which_o cause_n many_o be_v they_o that_o can_v enter_v the_o strait_a gate_n which_o will_v not_o open_v to_o any_o but_o to_o they_o that_o keep_v in_o the_o path_n of_o the_o just_a which_o lead_v to_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n from_o which_o the_o faithful_a receive_v their_o daily_a nourishment_n who_o be_v make_v fit_a to_o enter_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n but_o of_o such_o their_o number_n be_v small_a and_o in_o this_o life_n the_o trial_n of_o their_o faith_n be_v great_a but_o this_o be_v their_o strength_n through_o faith_n in_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n that_o nothing_o shall_v befall_v they_o more_o than_o what_o he_o will_v enable_v they_o to_o bear_v for_o they_o have_v a_o assurance_n of_o his_o grace_n that_o it_o be_v able_a to_o save_v from_o the_o nethermost_a pit_n of_o hell_n and_o will_v keep_v and_o preserve_v all_o they_o that_o abide_v faithful_a to_o he_o who_o in_o the_o stillness_n of_o mind_n and_o retiredness_n of_o thought_n witness_v his_o save_a power_n who_o salvation_n be_v to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o earth_n so_o that_o nothing_o more_o shall_v befall_v his_o choose_a one_o than_o what_o have_v happen_v to_o the_o household_n of_o faith_n in_o day_n past_a there_o be_v no_o new_a be_v contain_v in_o the_o law_n and_o so_o no_o true_a heir_n of_o the_o promise_n which_o be_v to_o faithful_a abraham_n and_o to_o his_o seed_n not_o after_o the_o flesh_n but_o after_o the_o spirit_n for_o that_o which_o be_v bear_v after_o the_o flesh_n live_v to_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o flesh_n which_o to_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v sweet_a and_o delightful_a but_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n of_o man_n they_o pass_v among_o man_n for_o christian_n not_o at_o all_o consider_v that_o no_o man_n can_v be_v a_o true_a christian_a but_o as_o he_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o spirit_n and_o through_o the_o spirit_n to_o mortify_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o flesh_n such_o be_v not_o only_a christian_n in_o name_n but_o in_o nature_n also_o they_o witness_v the_o work_n of_o god_n by_o jesus_n christ_n who_o leaven_n be_v the_o seed_n of_o the_o kingdom_n the_o tree_n of_o life_n unto_o which_o every_o true_a christian_a cleave_v to_o know_v himself_o purge_v any_o lot_n or_o inheritance_n in_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n except_o they_o turn_v to_o god_n by_o true_a repentance_n which_o will_v manifest_v itself_o by_o holy_a fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o bring_v forth_o no_o unclean_a thing_n in_o thought_n word_n nor_o work_n but_o be_v altogether_o obedient_a and_o submit_v to_o its_o own_o nature_n to_o work_v righteousness_n do_v just_o love_v mercy_n and_o in_o lowliness_n of_o mind_n and_o meekness_n of_o heart_n keep_v the_o even_a path_n and_o enter_v the_o strair_a gate_n which_o will_v not_o open_v to_o any_o that_o do_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n follow_v the_o teach_n of_o god_n word_n and_o leading_n of_o his_o spirit_n which_o begette●h_v true_a faith_n of_o which_o be_v good_a work_n viz._n to_o fear_n god_n to_o work_v righteousness_n to_o do_v just_o love_v mercy_n walk_v humble_o and_o do_v no_o other_o thing_n to_o any_o whatever_o than_o as_o themselves_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o this_o be_v the_o law_n and_o gospel_n so_o shine_v that_o other_o may_v glorify_v god_n by_o the_o same_o that_o man_n whosoever_o he_o be_v be_v a_o liar_n and_o the_o save_a knowledge_n of_o god_n holy_a truth_n abide_v not_o in_o he_o for_o faith_n without_o work_n be_v dead_a and_o such_o a_o faith_n and_o hope_n will_v fade_v away_o and_o perish_v and_o again_o in_o who_o faith_n be_v not_o grace_n work_v no_o effect_n which_o be_v altogether_o through_o man_n own_o neglect_n of_o obedience_n to_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n which_o lead_v into_o all_o truth_n for_o the_o truth_n be_v no_o other_o than_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n which_o be_v christ_n in_o who_o no_o man_n faith_n can_v abide_v without_o work_n of_o holiness_n for_o where_o man_n have_v a_o faith_n without_o work_n of_o righteousness_n their_o building_n be_v found_v upon_o a_o rot_a foundation_n against_o which_o the_o gate_n of_o hell_n do_v ever_o prevail_v that_o be_v of_o their_o own_o lust_n they_o be_v lead_v and_o keep_v in_o bondage_n not_o have_v any_o right_n to_o the_o promise_n which_o only_o belong_v to_o the_o free_a bear_v who_o be_v redeem_v by_o the_o power_n of_o a_o endless_a life_n and_o make_v heir_n of_o the_o promise_a land_n and_o heavenly_a jerusalem_n which_o be_v from_o above_o and_o be_v the_o mother_n of_o all_o they_o that_o abide_v in_o faithfulness_n to_o the_o end_n now_o here_o every_o unrighteous_a and_o covetous_a mind_a man_n be_v shut_v out_o from_o enter_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n nay_o though_o he_o may_v be_v outward_o righteous_a as_o be_v one_o in_o christ_n man_n sow_v of_o the_o same_o he_o shall_v reap_v whether_o to_o the_o flesh_n or_o to_o the_o spirit_n the_o one_o be_v life_n the_o other_o death_n for_o to_o be_v carnal_o mind_v be_v death_n but_o to_o be_v spiritual_o mind_v be_v life_n and_o peace_n which_o thing_n ought_v by_o all_o man_n to_o be_v due_o consider_v before_o time_n be_v no_o more_o for_o as_o death_n leave_v so_o judgement_n such_o man_n live_v without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n for_o by_o their_o deed_n they_o manifest_v the_o same_o therefore_o be_v it_o that_o there_o be_v no_o true_a save_a knowledge_n of_o god_n to_o they_o and_o in_o this_o state_n be_v all_o covetous_a man_n among_o who_o many_o be_v they_o that_o have_v take_v upon_o they_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n who_o word_n they_o have_v steal_v who_o through_o covetousness_n make_v it_o their_o trade_n to_o gain_v money_n by_o this_o be_v also_o contrary_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o not_o at_o all_o according_a to_o the_o example_n of_o his_o holy_a one_o who_o covet_v no_o man_n silver_n nor_o gold_n but_o free_o receive_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n and_o as_o good_a steward_n of_o his_o manifold_a grace_n they_o free_o
