for_o the_o gate_n be_v shut_v up_o and_o the_o seditious_a have_v lay_v a_o ambush_n without_o the_o city_n to_o trap_n titus_n who_o go_v somewhat_o before_o accompany_v with_o a_o few_o the_o rest_n follow_v a_o pretty_a way_n behind_o while_o therefore_o he_o be_v a_o view_v the_o wall_n the_o seditious_a issue_v out_o of_o the_o ambush_n that_o they_o have_v lay_v nigh_o unto_o apilona_n and_o set_v upon_o the_o back_n of_o titus_n his_o man_n behind_o then_o issue_v another_o party_n out_o of_o the_o town_n so_o that_o they_o have_v titus_n between_o they_o and_o run_v upon_o he_o separated_z him_z from_o his_o man_n and_o environ_v he_o on_o every_o side_n where_o they_o slay_v sixty_o of_o his_o man_n and_o may_v have_v slay_v he_o also_o save_v that_o they_o covet_v to_o take_v he_o alive_a titus_n see_v himself_o beset_v and_o abandon_v of_o his_o own_o man_n who_o think_v that_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o he_o to_o escape_v perceive_v also_o that_o they_o go_v cedron_n that_o run_v between_o the_o city_n and_o the_o wall_n and_o many_o time_n run_v very_o shallow_a titus_n camp_n be_v about_o six_o furlong_n from_o the_o town_n the_o next_o morning_n they_o of_o the_o town_n see_v titus_n to_o be_v encamp_v on_o the_o mount_n olivet_n the_o captain_n of_o the_o seditious_a with_o their_o company_n assemble_v together_o and_o fall_v to_o agreement_n set_v upon_o they_o at_o unaware_o but_o titus_n see_v his_o man_n flee_v rebuke_v and_o encourage_v they_o to_o withstand_v manful_o the_o jew_n so_o that_o very_o many_o be_v slay_v on_o both_o side_n but_o the_o roman_n be_v not_o able_a long_o to_o abide_v the_o force_n of_o the_o jew_n albeit_o that_o titus_n with_o his_o choice_a and_o most_o valiant_a soldier_n do_v manful_o keep_v their_o ground_n and_o never_o retreat_v titus_n labour_v and_o encourage_v the_o rest_n to_o fight_v but_o they_o be_v so_o dismay_v that_o they_o wist_v not_o what_o to_o do_v nevertheless_o titus_n and_o his_o man_n sustain_v their_o effort_n with_o that_o bravery_n and_o courage_n that_o the_o jew_n at_o length_n leave_v the_o field_n and_o withdraw_v themselves_o into_o the_o town_n the_o next_o day_n titus_n take_v all_o his_o army_n save_o a_o few_o that_o he_o leave_v in_o his_o camp_n to_o keep_v his_o baggage_n and_o go_v down_o the_o mount_n olivet_n set_v his_o man_n in_o
