one_o bear_v of_o sinful_a parent_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n but_o he_o must_v needs_o be_v sinful_a as_o they_o be_v or_o not_o one_o who_o can_v any_o way_n procure_v that_o he_o that_o be_v bear_v of_o parent_n pollute_v with_o original_a sin_n shall_v not_o himself_o be_v pollute_a and_o unclean_a yea_o and_o it_o may_v refer_v to_o man_n action_n too_o that_o a_o man_n unclean_a by_o nature_n can_v bring_v forth_o any_o clean_a thing_n that_o be_v any_o clean_a action_n what_o sinful_a man_n do_v must_v needs_o be_v sinful_a now_o this_o job_n add_v 1._o to_o abase_v examine_v he_o according_a to_o the_o rigour_n of_o his_o righteous_a judgement_n and_o by_o this_o employ_v confession_n of_o his_o spiritual_a uncleanness_n he_o do_v covert_o condemn_v his_o friend_n who_o charge_v he_o with_o say_v that_o he_o be_v perfect_o righteous_a and_o pure_a from_o sin_n yet_o consider_v this_o be_v the_o inevitable_a condition_n of_o all_o man_n who_o must_v needs_o be_v sinful_a because_o they_o come_v out_o of_o the_o loin_n of_o sinful_a parent_n therefore_o he_o hope_v and_o desire_v that_o god_n will_v take_v compassion_n of_o he_o and_o not_o deal_v in_o such_o extremity_n with_o he_o verse_n 5._o see_v his_o day_n be_v determine_v etc._n etc._n this_o plea_n of_o job_n be_v much_o like_a that_o of_o the_o psalmist_n psal_n 89.46_o 47._o shall_v man_n after_o death_n to_o live_v again_o here_o in_o this_o world_n as_o a_o tree_n cut_v down_o will_v sprout_v up_o again_o the_o hope_n that_o his_o life_n then_o may_v be_v more_o comfortable_a will_v enable_v he_o the_o more_o patient_o to_o bear_v his_o present_a suffering_n but_o alas_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o this_o a_o tree_n indeed_o though_o it_o be_v fell_v down_o to_o the_o ground_n yet_o may_v sprout_v out_o with_o fresh_a tender_a branch_n again_o verse_n 8._o though_o the_o root_n thereof_o wax_v old_a in_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o stock_n thereof_o die_v in_o the_o ground_n that_o be_v though_o the_o root_n through_o age_n be_v in_o a_o manner_n wither_a and_o shrink_v and_o no_o sign_n of_o life_n appear_v in_o the_o stock_n verse_n 9_o yet_o through_o the_o be_v water_v it_o will_v bud_v forth_o afresh_o or_o else_o it_o be_v use_v to_o show_v how_o little_a a_o thing_n will_v cause_v it_o to_o sprout_v out_o again_o to_o wit_n that_o if_o any_o moisture_n come_v but_o near_o it_o if_o it_o do_v as_o it_o be_v but_o smell_v the_o water_n it_o will_v suck_v in_o moisture_n and_o sap_n and_o grow_v up_o with_o new_a tender_a branch_n verse_n god_n cause_v the_o water_n of_o the_o sea_n through_o the_o earth_n to_o rise_v up_o in_o several_a fountain_n and_o spring_n and_o so_o divide_v it_o into_o several_a sea_n and_o river_n and_o brook_n the_o true_a meaning_n of_o these_o word_n i_o conceive_v be_v this_o that_o god_n divide_v the_o sea_n that_o be_v he_o break_v the_o wave_n thereof_o and_o cause_v they_o to_o cleave_v in_o because_o it_o may_v well_o be_v question_v whether_o those_o figure_n of_o the_o heavenly_a constellation_n which_o astronomer_n have_v fancy_v and_o the_o name_n which_o thereupon_o have_v be_v
