sponge_n and_o wet_v it_o with_o vinegar_n both_o within_o and_o without_o and_o so_o bind_v it_o fast_o to_o the_o sore_n &_o always_o when_o it_o wax_v dry_v you_o must_v wet_v it_o again_o do_v thus_o twice_o or_o thrice_o a_o day_n if_o it_o be_v do_v often_o it_o be_v better_a so_o shall_v you_o continue_v for_o three_o or_o four_o day_n and_o then_o heal_v it_o up_o as_o you_o heal_v up_o any_o ordinary_a wound_n that_o be_v with_o hog_n grease_n and_o turpentine_n melt_v together_o or_o such_o like_a there_o be_v other_o farrier_n which_o for_o the_o canker_n on_o the_o body_n do_v take_v one_o ounce_n of_o the_o juice_n of_o the_o root_n of_o affedeli_fw-la three_o ounce_n of_o unsleckt_a lime_n two_o ounce_n of_o orpiment_n or_o arsenic_n put_v this_o in_o a_o earthen_a vessel_n close_o stop_v and_o either_o boil_v or_o bake_v it_o in_o a_o oven_n till_o it_o come_v to_o a_o powder_n then_o first_o wash_v the_o sore_n with_o strong_a vinegar_n and_o after_o strew_v this_o powder_n thereon_o other_o use_v to_o take_v garlic_n and_o beat_v it_o in_o a_o mortar_n with_o swine_n grease_n till_o it_o come_v to_o a_o salve_n and_o then_o have_v wash_v the_o sore_n either_o with_o vinegar_n allome_a water_n copporas_fw-la water_n or_o old_a urine_n then_o anoint_v it_o once_o or_o twice_o a_o day_n with_o it_o till_o it_o be_v whole_a other_o farrier_n take_v the_o herb_n mullen_n and_o bruise_v it_o and_o mix_v it_o with_o salt_n and_o verdigrease_n and_o then_o dress_v the_o sore_n therewith_o morning_n and_o evening_n for_o the_o space_n of_o three_o or_o four_o day_n then_o use_v the_o same_o salve_n as_o long_o again_o without_o verdigrease_n then_o last_o use_v the_o herb_n alone_o but_o if_o at_o any_o time_n you_o see_v it_o do_v begin_v to_o wax_v raw_a then_o begin_v again_o as_o be_v aforesaid_a and_o ever_o before_o you_o anoint_v it_o wash_v it_o first_o with_o vinegar_n and_o grease_n mix_v together_o other_o take_v
