the_o spring_n time_n and_o next_o to_o that_o be_v the_o winter_n but_o the_o summer_n be_v not_o good_a principal_o for_o hot_a choleric_a person_n for_o in_o itself_o it_o be_v contrary_a unto_o they_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o great_a heat_n and_o drith_n which_o it_o increase_v so_o much_o the_o more_o in_o they_o but_o to_o cold_a moist_a and_o phlegmatic_a body_n the_o summer_n be_v not_o so_o hurtful_a as_o to_o the_o choleric_a and_o therefore_o in_o time_n of_o need_n such_o patient_n may_v be_v cure_v in_o the_o summer_n thus_o much_o concern_v sweat_a with_o the_o time_n and_o the_o order_n of_o the_o diet_n now_o follow_v the_o order_n of_o cure_v and_o first_o of_o the_o great_a intolerable_a pain_n in_o the_o head_n which_o happen_v often_o in_o this_o disease_n suffer_v yet_o the_o pain_n decrease_v not_o to_o cure_v this_o and_o such_o like_a pain_n in_o the_o head_n you_o must_v first_o consider_v the_o complexion_n of_o the_o patient_n whether_o be_v be_v choleric_a phlegmatic_a melancholic_a or_o sanguine_a which_o you_o shall_v know_v in_o this_o sort_n if_o the_o patient_n be_v choleric_a his_o urine_n be_v very_o yellow_a colour_a and_o the_o pain_n be_v sharp_a upon_o the_o right_a side_n of_o the_o head_n then_o in_o other_o place_n he_o be_v lean_a of_o body_n and_o his_o mouth_n be_v common_o bitter_a if_o he_o be_v sanguine_a he_o be_v somewhat_o fat_a of_o body_n but_o not_o much_o and_o have_v a_o sweet_a mouth_n his_o urine_n be_v also_o very_o much_o colour_v and_o thick_a the_o phlegmatic_a be_v common_o fat_a and_o gross_a of_o body_n and_o slow_a his_o water_n be_v white_a and_o thick_a the_o mellancholicke_a be_v lean_a and_o wither_a or_o dry_a and_o beavie_a spirit_v envious_a and_o angry_a wish_v well_o to_o no_o man_n his_o urine_n be_v bleak_a and_o thin_a in_o manner_n like_o water_n and_o he_o be_v always_o sad_a have_v teach_v you_o to_o know_v the_o complexion_n of_o the_o patient_n we_o will_v teach_v you_o the_o prepare_v of_o each_o of_o their_o medicine_n severallie_o and_o first_o of_o the_o choleric_a and_o the_o sanguine_a because_o in_o this_o they_o do_v agree_v to_o wit_n in_o heat_n although_o the_o choleric_a man_n be_v much_o dry_a than_o the_o sanguine_a yet_o because_o they_o be_v both_o hot_a we_o will_v conclude_v they_o both_o under_o one_o cure_n which_o shall_v drink_v till_o the_o purgation_n have_v do_v work_v and_o that_o the_o patient_n feel_v no_o more_o pain_n or_o grief_n in_o his_o belly_n and_o then_o you_o shall_v give_v he_o his_o diet_n the_o same_o day_n neither_o in_o the_o morning_n nor_o the_o evening_n shall_v he_o drink_v any_o drink_n but_o only_o the_o purgation_n except_o at_o his_o meal_n you_o may_v give_v he_o of_o his_o drink_n mingle_v the_o same_o with_o wine_n half_a one_o half_o another_o in_o the_o morning_n he_o shall_v again_o drink_v of_o his_o drink_n and_o do_v in_o all_o respect_n as_o i_o have_v teach_v be_v make_v in_o this_o manner_n take_v of_o the_o wood_n three_o quarter_n of_o a_o pound_n be_v break_v as_o small_a as_o be_v possible_a with_o six_o pound_n of_o water_n and_o as_o much_o wine_n and_o put_v it_o in_o a_o stone_n pot_n and_o be_v very_o close_o stop_v set_v it_o to_o seethe_v ten_o hour_n in_o a_o kettle_n of_o water_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a whereof_o the_o patient_n shall_v drink_v morning_n and_o evening_n eight_o ounce_n at_o a_o time_n and_o at_o the_o end_n of_o eight_o day_n you_o shall_v purge_v he_o with_o the_o aforesaid_a purgation_n use_v he_o in_o all_o point_v as_o be_v aforesaid_a with_o sweat_v and_o otherwise_o and_o he_o shall_v undoubted_o be_v cure_v but_o you_o must_v have_v great_a regard_n in_o sweat_v that_o you_o dry_v his_o head_n well_o for_o that_o shall_v much_o further_o his_o health_n and_o here_o you_o shall_v understand_v that_o the_o pain_n do_v common_o increase_v till_o it_o be_v at_o the_o strong_a and_o then_o it_o every_o thereof_o eight_o day_n you_o shall_v purge_v he_o with_o this_o purgation_n take_v of_o hiera_n picra_fw-la galeni_fw-la half_o a_o ounce_n diacarthami_fw-la three_o dram_n and_o beat_v among_o it_o of_o epirimi_fw-la and_o agarici_fw-la trocistati_fw-la of_o each_o two_o dam_n this_o you_o must_v mingle_v with_o betoni_fw-la water_n and_o cuscuta_n water_n put_v thereto_o so_o much_o water_n that_o it_o may_v be_v a_o potion_n this_o the_o patient_n must_v drink_v at_o four_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o morning_n he_o must_v neither_o sleep_v eat_v nor_o drink_v until_o the_o medicine_n
