perform_v the_o office_n of_o priest_n who_o they_o call_v boti_n ordinary_o they_o never_o admit_v into_o their_o sect_n any_o man_n of_o another_o religion_n nor_o do_v they_o think_v that_o they_o do_v ill_o herein_o or_o contrary_a to_o the_o zeal_n of_o save_a soul_n since_o believe_v the_o transmigration_n they_o conceive_v it_o not_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n to_o change_v religion_n although_o one_o be_v of_o a_o false_a sect_n but_o judge_v that_o if_o this_o soul_n shall_v be_v worthy_a to_o have_v pardon_n from_o god_n it_o shall_v after_o death_n and_o after_o be_v purge_v sundry_a way_n pass_z into_z and_o be_v bear_v in_o the_o body_n of_o some_o indian_a among_o they_o and_o live_v excellent_o and_o so_o by_o this_o way_n at_o last_o arrive_v at_o paradise_n and_o live_v with_o god_n although_o in_o the_o beginning_n it_o be_v in_o the_o world_n in_o the_o body_n of_o the_o worst_a sinner_n and_o miscreant_n whatever_o with_o people_n of_o other_o religion_n they_o never_o eat_v nor_o will_v have_v any_o communication_n of_o food_n and_o as_o much_o as_o possible_a they_o avoid_v even_o to_o touch_v they_o conceive_v themselves_o pollute_v by_o communicate_v with_o other_o and_o herein_o they_o be_v so_o scrupulous_a that_o even_o among_o the_o indian_n themselves_o one_o of_o more_o noble_a race_n not_o only_o neither_o eat_v nor_o make_v use_n of_o the_o same_o clothes_n or_o vessel_n nor_o communicate_v in_o any_o thing_n with_o one_o less_o noble_a but_o also_o endure_v not_o to_o be_v touch_v by_o he_o which_o if_o it_o fall_v out_o by_o chance_n that_o he_o be_v he_o must_v purify_v himself_o from_o the_o defilement_n by_o wash_n and_o other_o arrogant_a ceremony_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v a_o pretty_a sight_n to_o behold_v the_o great_a respect_n which_o upon_o this_o account_n the_o ignoble_a bear_n to_o the_o more_o noble_a than_o themselves_o and_o how_o upon_o meet_v in_o the_o street_n the_o ignoble_a not_o only_o give_v place_n but_o dance_v wild_o up_o and_o down_o for_o fear_n of_o rush_v against_o the_o noble_a and_o pollute_v they_o in_o any_o measure_n which_o if_o they_o shall_v not_o do_v the_o noble_a and_o especial_o the_o soldier_n will_v make_v they_o do_v it_o to_o the_o music_n of_o blow_n from_o this_o averseness_n to_o communicate_v one_o with_o another_o particular_o in_o the_o use_n of_o eat_v and_o drinking-vessel_n concern_v which_o they_o be_v most_o strict_a be_v spring_v a_o strange_a custom_n which_o i_o be_v delight_v not_o only_o to_o see_v but_o also_o sometime_o out_o of_o gallantry_n to_o imitate_v in_o conversation_n it_o happen_v very_o often_o during_o hot_a weather_n both_o in_o travel_v and_o in_o town_n that_o people_n have_v need_n of_o refresh_v themselves_o and_o drink_v of_o
