with_o his_o own_o hand_n as_o the_o suné_n say_v and_o in_o the_o book_n call_v in_o arabic_a quitebe_n alainiar_n i_o e._n the_o book_n of_o flower_n the_o word_n in_o arabic_a run_v thus_o aneguaquesin_n hale_v etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o muhume_v will_v be_v at_o his_o fountain_n and_o the_o moorish_a people_n shall_v pass_v by_o it_o and_o muhamed_a with_o his_o own_o hand_n shall_v give_v every_o one_o of_o they_o to_o drink_v of_o the_o water_n of_o that_o fountain_n and_o those_o that_o drink_v of_o this_o fonntaine_n he_o say_v shall_v never_o thirst_v in_o the_o say_a book_n of_o flower_n muhamed_a say_v that_o the_o water_n of_o this_o fountain_n be_v white_a than_o milk_n and_o sweet_a than_o honey_n and_o the_o bucket_n bowl_n and_o glass_n of_o this_o fountain_n be_v as_o many_o in_o number_n as_o the_o star_n of_o heaven_n now_o i_o will_v speak_v to_o thou_o o_o moor_n and_o say_v something_o upon_o this_o glory_n which_o you_o moores_n be_v to_o enjoy_v in_o the_o other_o world_n and_o although_o i_o be_o weary_a and_o trouble_v with_o write_v so_o many_o gullerye_n and_o thing_n against_o reason_n and_o all_o law_n nevertheless_o i_o will_v speak_v of_o two_o thing_n which_o i_o find_v want_v in_o your_o paradise_n and_o in_o all_o the_o glory_n aforesaid_a the_o first_o defect_n be_v that_o whereas_o the_o alcoran_n and_o the_o suné_n hold_v forth_o such_o and_o so_o great_a paradise_n so_o stately_a build_v and_o so_o rich_o adorn_v they_o make_v no_o mention_n of_o easement_n and_o that_o they_o be_v also_o magnificent_o build_v especial_o have_v speak_v of_o so_o much_o eat_v and_o of_o so_o much_o drink_v viz._n of_o honey_n milk_n claret_n and_o hippocras_n the_o second_o defect_n be_v that_o he_o make_v no_o mention_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o woman_n for_o whereas_o the_o alcoran_n and_o the_o suné_n have_v promise_v that_o the_o man_n shall_v have_v chaste_a virgin_n with_o who_o they_o shall_v sport_v and_o take_v their_o pleasure_n as_o aforesaid_a they_o ought_v in_o like_a manner_n to_o have_v mention_v the_o woman_n and_o to_o have_v give_v they_o eternal_a servant_n to_o have_v take_v their_o pleasure_n with_o they_o and_o then_o the_o woman_n will_v also_o have_v have_v eternal_a glory_n but_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n what_o will_v the_o woman_n who_o shall_v be_v at_o this_o feast_n say_v and_o do_v when_o they_o shall_v see_v themselves_o comfortless_a and_o when_o they_o shall_v see_v their_o husband_n which_o they_o have_v in_o this_o world_n sport_v with_o and_o embrace_v their_o virgin_n the_o space_n of_o 50_o year_n which_o he_o say_v they_o shall_v remain_v embrace_v sport_v and_o take_v their_o pleasure_n therefore_o o_o moor_n i_o say_v that_o the_o woman_n glory_n will_v be_v turn_v into_o punishment_n and_o sorrow_n especial_o when_o each_o of_o the_o man_n shall_v take_v his_o virgin_n and_o shall_v go_v away_o with_o she_o to_o his_o mansion_n or_o fortress_n and_o the_o woman_n shall_v be_v leave_v alone_o and_o comfortless_o like_o widow_n so_o that_o o_o moor_n consider_v all_o this_o above_o thou_o may_v conclude_v that_o this_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n of_o god_n nor_o of_o a_o prophet_n and_o messenger_n send_v from_o god_n and_o thou_o will_v know_v that_o it_o be_v all_o as_o solomon_n say_v vanity_n of_o vanity_n and_o all_o vanity_n and_o here_o i_o will_v conclude_v this_o nine_o chapter_n chap._n x._o the_o ten_o chapter_n show_v how_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o in_o divers_a place_n and_o trcate_v of_o divers_a thing_n in_o the_o alcoran_n which_o be_v unseemly_a and_o superfluous_a likewise_o of_o some_o miracle_n which_o muhamed_a say_v he_o do_v although_o they_o rather_o resemble_v gull_n than_o miracle_n the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n and_o in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o four_o book_n say_v that_o god_n curse_v the_o devil_n and_o expel_v he_o from_o the_o glory_n of_o paradise_n and_o cast_v he_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n for_o ever_o likewise_o in_o the_o aforequoted_a chapter_n it_o say_v that_o the_o devil_n tell_v god_n that_o he_o will_v always_o be_v man_n mortal_a enemy_n and_o will_v always_o tempt_v man_n and_o torment_v they_o furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n in_o divers_a place_n admonish_v man_n say_v that_o the_o devil_n be_v man_n apparent_a enemy_n all_o which_o be_v notorious_a and_o manifest_a in_o the_o alcoran_n and_o after_o all_o this_o the_o alcoran_n say_v that_o the_o devil_n shall_v hear_v the_o alcoran_n and_o shall_v become_v the_o friend_n of_o muhamed_a of_o man_n and_o of_o god_n and_o that_o god_n will_v pardon_v their_o sin_n and_o promise_v they_o the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n as_o appear_v by_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o of_o caf_n and_o of_o the_o glorious_a in_o the_o four_o book_n furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o when_o he_o say_v in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n that_o it_o be_v give_v in_o the_o month_n of_o ramadan_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n of_o smoke_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o holy_a night_n in_o the_o four_o book_n he_o say_v that_o the_o alcocan_n be_v give_v in_o one_o night_n both_o which_o the_o course_n of_o above_o twenty_o years-time_n contradict_v during_o which_o muhamed_a be_v make_v the_o alcoran_n viz._n ten_o year_n in_o mecca_n and_o 13_o year_n in_o medina_n which_o appear_v by_o the_o title_n of_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o alcoran_n for_o there_o be_v chapter_n of_o the_o alcoran_n which_o be_v call_v sorath_n midiniya_n i_o mean_v that_o the_o song_n or_o chapter_n which_o be_v make_v at_o mecca_n during_o the_o ten_o year_n that_o muhame_v dwell_v there_o be_v call_v sorath_n mekiya_n i._n e._n song_n of_o mecca_n and_o the_o chapter_n which_o be_v make_v at_o medina_n during_o the_o thirteen_o year_n that_o muhamed_a dwell_v there_o be_v call_v sorath_n medeniya_n i._n e._n song_n make_v at_o medina_n and_o there_o be_v not_o mention_v make_v at_o mecca_n in_o all_o the_o ten_o year_n of_o any_o of_o those_o chapter_n make_v at_o medina_n and_o the_o chapter_n which_o be_v make_v at_o mecca_n be_v not_o make_v at_o medina_n wherefore_o i_o conclude_v that_o the_o alcoran_n be_v twenty_o three_o year_n in_o compose_v and_o do_v not_o descend_v in_o one_o night_n nor_o in_o one_o month_n as_o the_o alcoran_n say_v furthermore_o by_o the_o alcoran_n itself_o it_o appear_v that_o it_o be_v not_o inspire_v in_o one_o night_n nor_o in_o one_o month_n by_o the_o chapter_n and_o verse_n which_o be_v make_v upon_o several_a occasion_n as_o upon_o action_n offence_n and_o upon_o controversy_n &_o difference_n between_o muhamed_a and_o his_o wife_n and_o by_o the_o diversity_n of_o commandment_n and_o by_o the_o alteration_n which_o we_o have_v show_v above_o which_o act_n and_o occurrence_n happen_v during_o the_o thirteen_o year_n which_o muhame_v dwell_v at_o medina_n and_o there_o be_v no_o mention_n make_v of_o they_o at_o mecca_n during_o the_o first_o ten_o year_n that_o he_o dwell_v there_o how_o be_v it_o then_o o_o moor_n that_o thou_o say_v the_o alcoran_n descend_v in_o a_o night_n or_o in_o a_o month_n and_o if_o we_o shall_v say_v it_o be_v true_a that_o the_o alcoran_n descend_v in_o a_o night_n or_o in_o a_o month_n than_o i_o will_v have_v thou_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n where_o be_v this_o night_n or_o this_o month_n whether_o it_o be_v at_o medina_n or_o at_o mecca_n if_o thou_o say_v that_o it_o be_v at_o mecca_n than_o i_o answer_v that_o those_o chapter_n which_o be_v make_v at_o medina_n be_v not_o to_o be_v repute_v or_o judge_v for_o the_o alcoran_n and_o if_o thou_o say_v that_o this_o night_n be_v at_o medina_n than_o i_o say_v likewise_o that_o the_o chapter_n and_o verse_n make_v at_o mecca_n be_v not_o to_o be_v repute_v for_o the_o alcoran_n so_o that_o take_v it_o which_o way_n you_o will_v we_o must_v say_v that_o the_o alcoran_n say_v and_o unsay_v affirm_v and_o deny_v the_o same_o thing_n furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o when_o it_o say_v in_o the_o four_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n that_o he_o charge_v the_o moor_n to_o hold_v twelve_o thing_n as_o forbid_a and_o prohibit_v to_o be_v eat_v in_o arabic_a he_o say_v thus_o o_o horrimet_fw-la
night_n in_o the_o house_n of_o one_o of_o the_o most_o eminent_a among_o they_o and_o hold_v counsel_n about_o muhamed_a and_o they_o all_o conclude_v to_o kill_v he_o emprison_v he_o or_o at_o least_o to_o banish_v he_o and_o that_o this_o be_v so_o consult_v of_o we_o may_v read_v in_o the_o second_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n which_o in_o arabic_a say_v thus_o ognay_v pamcoro_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o they_o of_o mecca_n take_v counsel_n to_o kill_v he_o or_o to_o send_v he_o into_o banishment_n or_o to_o imprison_v he_o and_o be_v so_o in_o consultation_n certain_a man_n who_o be_v secret_o become_v moores_n do_v the_o same_o night_n give_v muhamed_a notice_n of_o it_o and_o he_o present_o flee_v and_o all_o the_o moor_n with_o he_o and_o go_v to_o medina_n a_o city_n ten_o day_n journey_n from_o mecca_n he_o have_v also_o notice_n of_o the_o preparation_n of_o the_o citizen_n of_o mecca_n who_o have_v set_v guard_n in_o the_o way_n perceive_v that_o he_o and_o his_o moores_n will_v flee_v away_o that_o night_n whereupon_o muhamed_a bid_v all_o the_o moor_n that_o every_o one_o shall_v lay_v a_o handful_n of_o ember_n on_o the_o head_n of_o his_o horse_n and_o cast_v another_o handful_n into_o the_o air_n and_o tie_v the_o reins_n of_o their_o horse_n read_v a_o verse_n which_o be_v in_o the_o 18_o chapter_n of_o the_o three_o book_n of_o the_o alcoran_n and_o be_v thus_o oguaihalme_n minbeym_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o they_o take_v a_o vayl_n or_o screen_n in_o their_o hand_n and_o about_o they_o so_o that_o they_o blind_v they_o and_o they_o see_v nothing_o and_o the_o book_n azar_n say_v that_o by_o the_o embers_o which_o be_v lay_v over_o the_o horse_n head_n and_o by_o repeat_v the_o say_a verse_n the_o moor_n and_o he_o pass_v through_o their_o enemy_n and_o be_v not_o perceive_v and_o so_o they_o go_v to_o medina_n otherwise_o call_v tribik_n where_o he_o be_v receive_v for_o a_o prophet_n and_o there_o dwell_v thirteen_o year_n there_o finish_v his_o sect_n or_o religion_n and_o die_v there_o at_o medina_n he_o find_v five_o family_n of_o jew_n dwell_v there_o and_o in_o the_o part_n adjacent_a who_o begin_v to_o dispute_v and_o question_v those_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v then_o insert_v in_o the_o alcoran_n and_o require_v he_o to_o do_v some_o miracle_n as_o moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n decease_a have_v do_v to_o who_o he_o answer_v that_o god_n be_v his_o witness_n and_o that_o his_o testimony_n ought_v to_o suffice_v and_o that_o he_o come_v not_o to_o work_v miracle_n but_o to_o reduce_v those_o which_o wander_v and_o go_v astray_o unto_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o of_o abraham_n of_o which_o question_n and_o answer_n the_o chapter_n of_o the_o alcoran_n be_v full_a and_o in_o many_o chapter_n he_o excuse_v himself_o of_o do_v miracle_n allege_v unto_o the_o jew_n that_o divers_a messenger_n and_o prophet_n wrought_v miracle_n and_o yet_o be_v not_o believe_v yea_o that_o those_o prophet_n suffer_v persecution_n and_o with_o this_o excuse_n he_o quote_v in_o the_o alcoran_n the_o name_n of_o divers_a man_n which_o be_v never_o hear_v of_o nor_o be_v name_v any_o where_o else_o there_o he_o relate_v the_o history_n of_o a_o prophet_n call_v hadin_n alias_o have_v and_o of_o another_o call_v zamud_n alias_o hud_n and_o of_o a_o three_o call_v zaleh_n and_o of_o their_o nation_n call_v the_o people_n of_o hud_n and_o of_o a_o camel_n who_o with_o her_o foal_n be_v a_o league_n in_o length_n which_o two_o beast_n one_o day_n drink_v up_o the_o water_n of_o the_o city_n where_o that_o people_n dwell_v and_o the_o next_o day_n swallow_v up_o man_n whereupon_o one_o day_n they_o of_o the_o city_n slay_v they_o and_o because_o of_o the_o sin_n in_o kill_v they_o there_o fall_v a_o great_a tempest_n upon_o that_o people_n thus_o muhamed_a have_v great_a dispute_v and_o debate_v with_o the_o jew_n and_o himself_o extol_v their_o law_n that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v silent_a nevertheless_o they_o still_o dispute_v against_o he_o and_o laugh_v at_o the_o moor_n and_o mussellman_n and_o set_v strife_n betwixt_o he_o and_o his_o moor_n as_o shall_v appear_v in_o due_a place_n which_o jar_v continue_v until_o he_o get_v power_n and_o then_o he_o begin_v to_o suppress_v the_o jew_n and_o fight_v eleven_o battle_n with_o they_o overcome_v they_o and_o slay_v most_o part_n of_o they_o and_o the_o survivor_n have_v their_o life_n give_v they_o by_o the_o moor_n and_o become_v their_o subject_n and_o tributary_n and_o from_o thence_o forward_o he_o begin_v to_o combat_v against_o the_o people_n of_o mecca_n and_o they_o of_o mecca_n oppose_v he_o as_o shall_v be_v show_v hereafter_o but_o that_o i_o may_v not_o be_v tedious_a i_o will_v conclude_v this_o chapter_n and_o run_v through_o the_o eleven_o follow_a chapter_n i_o shall_v finish_v this_o treatise_n and_o the_o life_n of_o muhamed_a and_o of_o all_o that_o he_o do_v whilst_o he_o be_v at_o almedina_n chap_n ii_o the_o second_o chapter_n treat_v of_o the_o alcoran_n what_o it_o signify_v of_o the_o matter_n therein_o contain_v and_o of_o how_o many_o song_n it_o be_v compose_v who_o collect_v it_o and_o reduce_v it_o into_o four_o book_n in_o the_o order_n it_o be_v now_o in_o and_o how_o many_o year_n muhamed_a be_v make_v it_o how_o it_o begin_v and_o end_n and_o which_o be_v the_o first_o and_o last_o chapter_n alcoran_n signify_v a_o lesson_n or_o collection_n of_o chapter_n or_o song_n though_o it_o be_v also_o call_v by_o another_o name_n alforzan_n i._n e._n scatter_a verse_n and_o chapter_n because_o he_o be_v so_o long_o in_o make_v it_o and_o the_o chapter_n thereof_o be_v call_v suar_fw-la and_o one_o alone_o be_v call_v in_o arabic_a surah_n the_o alcoran_n treat_v of_o divers_a thing_n and_o especial_o of_o the_o sect_n or_o law_n of_o muhamed_a and_o of_o what_o the_o moor_n shall_v believe_v and_o do_v of_o the_o hope_n of_o reward_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v for_o the_o good_a and_o of_o torment_n for_o the_o wicked_a it_o also_o treat_v of_o thing_n permit_v and_o forbid_v to_o the_o moor_n aswell_o of_o food_n and_o drink_n as_o of_o woman_n with_o who_o they_o may_v or_o may_v not_o marry_v also_o it_o speak_v of_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n how_o god_n create_v adam_n and_o eve_n how_o they_o sin_v and_o be_v cast_v out_o of_o paradise_n and_o come_v to_o the_o earth_n how_o the_o evil_a angel_n sin_v and_o what_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o how_o they_o lose_v the_o celestial_a glory_n it_o also_o speak_v how_o god_n send_v moses_n to_o bring_v the_o people_n of_o israel_n out_o of_o the_o captivity_n and_o power_n of_o pharaoh_n how_o the_o jew_n receive_v the_o law_n what_o befall_v they_o at_o their_o go_v out_o of_o egypt_n how_o they_o have_v manna_n sin_v and_o worship_v the_o calf_n and_o how_o they_o pass_v the_o red_a sea_n wherein_o pharaoh_n be_v drown_v it_o also_o treat_v of_o divers_a other_o history_n although_o he_o have_v put_v they_o confuse_o and_o out_o of_o order_n as_o the_o cutler_n be_v relate_v they_o it_o also_o speak_v of_o the_o prophet_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n although_o he_o mention_n divers_a which_o be_v not_o name_v in_o any_o author_n it_o likewise_o contain_v the_o admonition_n which_o muhame_v use_v to_o the_o people_n of_o mecca_n and_o his_o threat_n to_o induce_v they_o to_o believe_v his_o sect._n it_o also_o speak_v of_o glory_n and_o discourse_v of_o the_o glory_n which_o the_o moor_n shall_v have_v in_o paradise_n as_o also_o of_o hell_n and_o of_o the_o pain_n and_o torment_n which_o be_v there_o it_o speak_v of_o the_o wonder_n which_o god_n daily_o do_v and_o of_o the_o mystery_n and_o divine_a work_n which_o we_o daily_o see_v in_o the_o heaven_n earth_n and_o sea_n it_o also_o speak_v of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n of_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n of_o the_o mystery_n of_o his_o nativity_n and_o life_n and_o of_o the_o miracle_n that_o he_o wrought_v and_o of_o the_o evangelist_n and_o of_o the_o true_a law_n which_o jesus_n christ_n have_v give_v we_o as_o it_o shall_v full_o appear_v in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n of_o this_o treatise_n furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n mention_n divers_a fraud_n and_o much_o filthiness_n use_v by_o muhamed_a and_o divers_a contrariety_n and_o repugnancy_n which_o have_v no_o reason_n in_o they_o and_o divers_a excuse_n which_o god_n accept_v from_o muhamed_a and_o make_v for_o he_o upon_o several_a dishonest_a and_o immodest_a case_n which_o muhame_v commit_v in_o his_o life_n as_o we_o shall_v show_v in_o the_o chapter_n of_o offence_n and_o wife_n final_o in_o the_o alcoran_n be_v many_o example_n of_o judgement_n wherewith_o
that_o he_o shall_v understand_v all_o language_n in_o arabic_a it_n be_v express_v thus_o ohtito_fw-la jagua_fw-la ni_fw-fr ih_o alquelin_n the_o five_o and_o last_o be_v that_o spoil_n of_o war_n and_o battaill_n shall_v belong_v to_o he_o only_o which_o be_v in_o arabic_a ohillet_n etc._n etc._n muhamed_a say_v that_o god_n give_v he_o all_o these_o thing_n that_o night_n whereat_o divers_a moor_n be_v offend_v and_o say_v that_o it_o be_v all_o fiction_n and_o lie_n &_o that_o he_o never_o go_v up_o to_o heaven_n nor_o speak_v with_o god_n and_o to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o moor_n shall_v believe_v all_o that_o he_o say_v he_o make_v certain_a verse_n in_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o star_n in_o the_o four_o book_n which_o in_o arabic_a run_v thus_o oguaneginni_n etc._n etc._n which_o in_o prose_n be_v that_o god_n swear_v by_o the_o star_n that_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v your_o friend_n to_o be_v tempt_v nor_o to_o speak_v untruth_n nor_o to_o speak_v vain_o and_o that_o it_o be_v all_o a_o true_a revelation_n which_o almighty_a god_n have_v show_v unto_o he_o and_o that_o he_o have_v approach_v god_n within_o two_o bow-shot_n or_o thereabouts_o and_o that_o god_n have_v reveal_v to_o his_o servant_n muhamed_a what_o be_v reveal_v to_o he_o and_o that_o muhamed_n heart_n lie_v not_o and_o that_o muhamed_a that_o night_n see_v the_o great_a wonder_n of_o god_n and_o that_o god_n show_v he_o a_o very_a high_a throne_n in_o the_o divine_a empire_n where_o be_v the_o paradise_n of_o god_n all_o this_o interpretation_n be_v draw_v verbatim_o from_o the_o arabic_a in_o the_o chapter_n aforesaid_a so_o that_o when_o the_o moor_n read_v these_o verse_n they_o believe_v and_o hold_v it_o for_o a_o great_a miracle_n though_o divers_a of_o they_o be_v offend_v and_o return_v to_o their_o former_a sect_n in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n he_o say_v oguama_n etc._n etc._n that_o god_n put_v this_o vision_n for_o a_o great_a offence_n to_o man_n that_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o their_o damage_n who_o be_v offend_v the_o book_n of_o azar_n say_v that_o muhamed_a take_v leave_v of_o his_o creator_n &_o turn_v back_o to_o go_v down_o by_o the_o same_o way_n he_o go_v up_o and_o return_v to_o the_o seven_o heaven_n he_o tell_v the_o angel_n gabriel_n all_o that_o have_v pass_v between_o he_o and_o his_o creator_n and_o the_o angel_n say_v to_o he_o o_o muhamed_a god_n have_v command_v i_o that_o i_o shall_v lead_v thou_o to_o see_v paradise_n and_o the_o secret_n there_o and_o afterward_o we_o will_v go_v to_o hell_n and_o thou_o shall_v see_v the_o secret_n of_o hell_n and_o the_o people_n that_o be_v there_o and_o how_o they_o be_v torment_v of_o the_o devil_n and_o hereupon_o they_o go_v first_o to_o and_o he_o tell_v he_o that_o they_o be_v the_o marry_a man_n of_o this_o world_n who_o leave_v their_o own_o good_a wife_n and_o go_v to_o other_o man_n and_o he_o say_v that_o they_o see_v divers_a man_n who_o never_o do_v any_o thing_n else_o but_o drink_n boil_a lead_n and_o fill_v their_o belly_n with_o it_o and_o afterward_o their_o belly_n open_v and_o all_o that_o they_o have_v drink_v run_v out_o and_o then_o they_o drink_v again_o and_o do_v thus_o perpetual_o and_o muhamed_a ask_v the_o angel_n what_o kind_n of_o man_n those_o be_v and_o he_o answer_v that_o they_o be_v those_o who_o eat_v and_o devour_v orphan_n estate_n in_o this_o world_n in_o brief_a he_o say_v he_o see_v divers_a other_o thing_n which_o will_v be_v too_o long_o to_o rehearse_v now_o harken_v o_o moor_n and_o consider_v all_o that_o i_o shall_v say_v upon_o this_o vision_n of_o muhamed_a and_o give_v ear_n to_o three_o thing_n which_o i_o shall_v tell_v thou_o and_o give_v what_o answer_n to_o they_o thou_o can_v the_o first_o be_v a_o natural_a reason_n which_o can_v be_v understand_v but_o by_o reason_n and_o good_a judgement_n the_o second_o be_v a_o philosophical_a and_o astrological_a reason_n which_o can_v be_v understand_v but_o by_o astrology_n and_o philosophy_n the_o three_o contain_v a_o humane_a and_o logical_a reason_n for_o humane_a and_o logical_a reason_n be_v that_o which_o separate_v truth_n from_o falsehood_n now_o for_o the_o first_o which_o be_v hold_v forth_o by_o natural_a reason_n it_o be_v from_o what_o muhamed_a in_o this_o vision_n say_v that_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n bring_v he_o a_o beast_n call_v alborac_n on_o which_o muhamed_a shall_v have_v rid_v but_o she_o will_v not_o yield_v to_o it_o until_o muhamed_a have_v promise_v that_o she_o shall_v be_v the_o first_o beast_n which_o shall_v go_v into_o paradise_n upon_o this_o i_o ask_v thou_o o_o moor_n what_o reason_n be_v there_o that_o a_o bruit_n beast_n shall_v or_o can_v go_v of_o the_o temple_n and_o so_o thou_o will_v say_v that_o there_o be_v not_o nor_o have_v be_v any_o mention_n make_v of_o he_o in_o all_o the_o writing_n of_o the_o moor_n although_o he_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v have_v in_o remembrance_n especial_o be_v a_o beast_n which_o have_v so_o much_o privilege_n as_o to_o be_v the_o first_o that_o shall_v go_v into_o paradise_n now_o what_o will_v thou_o answer_v i_o o_o moor_n to_o this_o and_o to_o what_o i_o shall_v say_v further_o concern_v this_o beast_n which_o be_v that_o the_o moor_n say_v and_o believe_v and_o find_v in_o the_o jupiter_n in_o the_o six_o and_o saturn_n in_o the_o seven_o heaven_n in_o brief_a we_o also_o see_v the_o star_n which_o be_v in_o the_o eight_o heaven_n which_o planet_n we_o often_o can_v see_v because_o of_o some_o little_a cloud_n which_o interpose_v between_o they_o and_o our_o sight_n and_o the_o moon_n often_o eclipse_v and_o cover_v the_o suné_fw-fr it_o be_v manifest_a that_o in_o the_o course_n of_o the_o moon_n at_o certain_a time_n in_o the_o year_n she_o interpose_v eclipse_v and_o hide_v the_o sun_n from_o our_o eye_n because_o the_o moon_n be_v a_o obscure_a body_n we_o see_v the_o say_v planet_n and_o star_n and_o now_o o_o moor_n what_o answer_n have_v thou_o but_o silence_n and_o concern_v the_o three_o i_o intend_v it_o for_o the_o five_o thing_n which_o muhamed_a say_v god_n give_v he_o that_o night_n which_o he_o never_o give_v before_o to_o any_o prophet_n consider_v o_o moor_n if_o they_o be_v not_o thing_n which_o can_v be_v prove_v either_o by_o human_a understanding_n or_o logical_a reason_n for_o human_a and_o logical_a reason_n command_v and_o teach_v that_o a_o man_n shall_v say_v nothing_o but_o what_o can_v be_v prove_v now_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n how_o can_v it_o be_v prove_v that_o muhamed_a be_v the_o most_o excellent_a creature_n that_o god_n ever_o create_v in_o heaven_n or_o on_o earth_n likewise_o how_o can_v it_o be_v prove_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v lord_n over_o all_o man_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n or_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o general_a redeemer_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n which_o thing_n be_v hide_v and_o unknown_a to_o all_o the_o world_n neither_o do_v his_o own_o word_n give_v any_o proof_n and_o therefore_o i_o say_v that_o what_o can_v be_v prove_v by_o itself_o nor_o by_o reason_n shall_v not_o be_v speak_v nor_o aught_o to_o be_v regard_v muhamed_a shall_v at_o least_o that_o night_n have_v desire_v of_o god_n some_o special_a sign_n as_o he_o give_v to_o moses_n to_o david_n to_o solomon_n to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o to_o the_o apostle_n after_o they_o which_o sign_n and_o miracle_n they_o wrought_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o people_n but_o muhamed_a be_v very_o crafty_a &_o subtle_a to_o speak_v of_o thing_n which_o the_o people_n neither_o see_v nor_o can_v see_v and_o thus_o he_o set_v down_o all_o the_o miracle_n which_o the_o moor_n read_v of_o he_o none_o of_o they_o be_v do_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o any_o moor_n but_o himself_o say_v that_o he_o do_v such_o and_o such_o a_o thing_n and_o that_o such_o a_o thing_n befall_v such_o a_o one_o and_o such_o a_o miracle_n be_v already_o do_v but_o never_o mention_n in_o who_o presence_n he_o wrought_v they_o and_o so_o also_o he_o report_v and_o compose_v this_o mystery_n of_o the_o vision_n but_o he_o do_v not_o bring_v in_o the_o testimony_n of_o any_o that_o see_v he_o when_o he_o go_v up_o the_o ladder_n nor_o when_o he_o get_v upon_o alborac_n nor_o when_o he_o make_v the_o zala_n or_o prayer_n on_o behalf_n of_o the_o prophet_n who_o be_v already_o all_o moor_n it_o have_v at_o least_o be_v reasonable_a that_o some_o man_n then_o live_v have_v be_v in_o the_o temple_n at_o
