bottom_n afterward_o by_o the_o fire_n do_v the_o fiery_a element_n ascend_v it_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v in_o this_o place_n that_o albeit_o the_o four_o element_n be_v separate_v yet_o notwithstanding_o there_o do_v yet_o remain_v in_o the_o earth_n four_o occult_a element_n as_o be_v six_o as_o in_o the_o caput_fw-la mortuum_fw-la of_o vitriol_n the_o which_o you_o must_v subline_n life_n of_o a_o thing_n be_v permanent_a but_o of_o man_n mortal_a from_o whence_o may_v be_v understand_v that_o a_o quintessence_n can_v be_v extract_v from_o the_o flesh_n or_o blood_n of_o a_o man_n and_o that_o for_o this_o reason_n because_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n which_o also_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o virtue_n die_v and_o the_o life_n exist_v in_o the_o soul_n which_o then_o afford_v no_o quintessence_n for_o the_o quintessence_n be_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o thing_n which_o very_o can_v be_v so_o well_o extract_v out_o of_o thing_n sensible_a as_o our_o of_o in-sensible_a thing_n now_o baume_n have_v in_o itself_o a_o spirit_n of_o life_n the_o which_o be_v its_o virtue_n power_n and_o medicine_n and_o although_o it_o be_v separate_v from_o its_o root_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o life_n and_o virtue_n be_v therein_o for_o this_o reason_n because_o that_o be_v a_o fix_v predestination_n therefore_o the_o quintessence_n may_v be_v extract_v
