thereupon_o to_o be_v defer_v till_o it_o come_v to_o year_n of_o understanding_n no_o more_o ought_v this_o sacrament_n which_o come_v in_o the_o room_n of_o circumcision_n what_o though_o sense_n and_o reason_n can_v tell_v we_o how_o this_o ordinance_n shall_v be_v beneficial_a yet_o submit_v to_o it_o rest_v upon_o god_n in_o the_o use_n of_o it_o know_v and_o remember_v that_o in_o sacred_a action_n of_o this_o nature_n we_o be_v to_o captivate_v our_o own_o understanding_n bring_v they_o into_o obedience_n unto_o christ_n deal_v with_o he_o not_o by_o reason_n but_o by_o faith_n so_o much_o our_o saviour_n intimate_v unto_o we_o in_o the_o 15._o of_o this_o chapter_n where_o he_o tell_v we_o that_o whosoever_o shall_v not_o receive_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n as_o a_o little_a child_n he_o shall_v not_o enter_v therein_o child_n we_o see_v how_o they_o yield_v up_o themselves_o unto_o their_o parent_n pleasure_n believe_v submit_v and_o obey_v without_o dispute_v and_o reason_v thus_o shall_v christian_n yield_v up_o themselves_o to_o the_o pleasure_n of_o their_o lord_n and_o master_n christ_n believe_v his_o word_n submit_v to_o his_o commandment_n though_o to_o reason_n never_o so_o unreasonable_a thus_o do_v abraham_n when_o he_o be_v 99_o year_n old_a submit_v to_o circumcision_n though_o to_o 24._o reason_n a_o ridiculous_a uncomely_a ceremony_n what_o ever_o reason_n dictate_v yet_o neglect_v not_o this_o ordinance_n of_o god_n the_o bring_n of_o our_o child_n and_o consecrate_v they_o unto_o god_n by_o the_o sacrament_n of_o baptism_n which_o if_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v for_o the_o present_a beneficial_a unto_o
