army_n in_o ireland_n etc._n etc._n my_o lord_n it_o fall_v out_o in_o time_n to_o be_v as_o i_o conceive_v to_o be_v about_o the_o 5_o the_o of_o may_v last_v not_o many_o day_n soon_o or_o late_a the_o army_n of_o ireland_n be_v not_o raise_v till_o june_n follow_v so_o it_o seem_v i_o shall_v tell_v the_o king_n a_o great_a untruth_n that_o he_o have_v a_o army_n in_o ireland_n which_o he_o may_v employ_v for_o his_o service_n before_o that_o army_n be_v raise_v for_o it_o be_v a_o notorious_a thing_n and_o any_o of_o that_o country_n know_v that_o the_o army_n be_v not_o raise_v till_o the_o fifteen_o of_o june_n as_o i_o remember_v last_o in_o far_a take_n away_o of_o this_o testimony_n i_o have_v prove_v it_o by_o a_o great_a many_o witness_n beyond_o all_o exception_n that_o there_o be_v never_o any_o such_o intendment_n of_o the_o bring_v this_o army_n into_o england_n nay_o that_o the_o design_n be_v quite_o otherwise_o and_o this_o have_v be_v apparent_o clear_v before_o your_o lordship_n by_o the_o testimony_n of_o my_o lord_n of_o northumberland_n marquess_z of_o hamilton_n sir_n thomas_n lucas_n and_o mr._n slingsby_n and_o may_v have_v be_v further_o justify_v by_o the_o testimony_n of_o my_o lord_n of_o ormond_n precedent_n of_o munster_n and_o sir_n john_n burlace_n master_n of_o the_o ordnance_n in_o ireland_n if_o they_o have_v be_v here_o to_o have_v be_v produce_v so_o that_o all_o these_o lay_v together_o the_o strong_a and_o clear_a proof_n on_o my_o part_n the_o produce_v of_o a_o single_a witness_n which_o by_o the_o proviso_n treason_n in_o the_o charge_n and_o that_o be_v constructive-treason_n and_o it_o be_v lay_v down_o in_o the_o first_o article_n of_o the_o general_n charge_n for_o my_o
king_n his_o queen_n and_o child_n intention_n be_v treasonable_a yet_o in_o all_o other_o thing_n there_o mention_v there_o must_v be_v action_n beside_o intention_n for_o it_o be_v not_o say_v if_o a_o man_n do_v intend_v to_o kill_v a_o chancellor_n it_o shall_v be_v treason_n but_o if_o he_o do_v kill_v he_o and_o if_o he_o do_v actual_o counterfeit_v the_o broad_a seal_n and_o although_o a_o man_n shall_v prepare_v a_o furnace_n make_v ready_a his_o stamp_n melt_v his_o bullion_n yet_o if_o he_o give_v not_o the_o king_n impression_n upon_o the_o coin_n all_o his_o intention_n yea_o his_o
