victualling-house_n and_o alehouse_n unless_o they_o can_v agree_v for_o their_o billet_n at_o other_o place_n within_o the_o quarter_n or_o such_o distance_n therefrom_o as_o aforesaid_a and_o in_o such_o case_n shall_v not_o after_o the_o say_v first_o two_o night_n under_o pretence_n of_o quarter_a or_o billet_n enter_v into_o or_o continue_v in_o the_o house_n of_o any_o other_o inhabitant_n due_o pay_v in_o his_o assessment_n as_o aforesaid_a without_o his_o own_o consent_n and_o where_o ever_o any_o soldier_n or_o officer_n shall_v come_v to_o quarter_v in_o any_o inn_n tavern_n victualling-house_n or_o alehouse_n without_o consent_n of_o the_o inhabitant_n they_o shall_v accept_v and_o be_v content_a with_o such_o sufficient_a lodging_n and_o such_o convenient_a stable-room_n as_o the_o inhabitant_n have_v and_o shall_v appoint_v for_o they_o and_o shall_v pay_v the_o inhabitant_n for_o the_o same_o at_o the_o same_o rate_n as_o be_v allow_v to_o they_o by_o the_o state_n for_o billet_n as_o aforesaid_a respective_o unless_o they_o shall_v by_o agreement_n with_o the_o inhabitant_n have_v with_o he_o their_o diet_n or_o horsemeat_n as_o other_o guest_n or_o at_o such_o rate_n as_o he_o shall_v agree_v to_o take_v and_o also_o provide_v that_o in_o case_n the_o force_n want_v their_o pay_n assign_v from_o the_o state_n they_o shall_v be_v supply_v with_o money_n by_o way_n of_o loan_n from_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o town_n and_o place_n within_o their_o quarter_n according_a to_o the_o act_n of_o parliament_n herewith_o publish_v and_o these_o rule_n be_v to_o hold_v as_o well_o upon_o the_o draw_n of_o the_o force_n into_o city_n or_o town_n by_o or_o before_o the_o say_v nine_o of_o june_n according_a to_o the_o resolution_n aforego_v as_o upon_o any_o remove_n or_o change_v of_o quarter_n afterward_o by_o due_a order_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o shall_v be_v due_o and_o constant_o observe_v and_o keep_v by_o and_o betwixt_o all_o officer_n and_o soldier_n under_o pay_n and_o command_v of_o the_o parliament_n in_o this_o nation_n and_o all_o inhabitant_n of_o such_o place_n within_o this_o commonwealth_n where_o any_o the_o say_a force_n shall_v happen_v to_o quarter_v by_o due_a order_n as_o aforesaid_a while_o assessment_n for_o the_o army_n continue_v to_o be_v pay_v unless_o actual_a war_n by_o invasion_n insurrection_n or_o rebellion_n within_o the_o land_n shall_v happen_v so_o to_o hinder_v the_o due_a levy_n of_o assessment_n and_o necessitate_v such_o increase_n of_o force_n as_o that_o the_o soldiery_n can_v be_v constant_o pay_v as_o be_v intend_v and_o all_o military_a officer_n for_o those_o under_o their_o respective_a command_n and_o all_o civil_a magistrate_n for_o those_o under_o their_o respective_a jurisdiction_n be_v require_v strict_o to_o see_v to_o and_o to_o take_v order_n for_o the_o due_a observance_n of_o these_o rule_n and_o direction_n aforego_v and_o if_o any_o officer_n or_o soldier_n shall_v offend_v contrary_a to_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o premise_n upon_o complaint_n and_o proof_n thereof_o make_v before_o the_o colonel_n or_o other_o field-officer_n of_o the_o regiment_n or_o before_o the_o chief_a officer_n command_v in_o the_o quarter_n every_o such_o offender_n shall_v be_v cashier_v out_o of_o the_o army_n and_o service_n of_o the_o parliament_n and_o for_o any_o damage_n do_v to_o any_o countryman_n contrary_a to_o the_o premise_n shall_v be_v award_v and_o compel_v to_o give_v full_a satisfaction_n out_o of_o his_o pay_n and_o for_o such_o damage_n if_o he_o give_v not_o such_o satisfaction_n shall_v be_v leave_v to_o the_o law_n and_o for_o any_o violence_n contrary_a to_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o premise_n if_o it_o be_v capital_a or_o criminal_a being_n first_o cashier_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v by_o the_o say_v chief_a officer_n be_v send_v and_o deliver_v over_o to_o the_o next_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n to_o be_v deal_v with_o and_o proceed_v against_o for_o the_o same_o according_a to_o law_n and_o if_o the_o say_v chief_a officer_n shall_v fail_v of_o his_o duty_n in_o not_o punish_v and_o proceed_v
