and_o shroud_v themselves_o for_o fear_n and_o yet_o behold_v such_o be_v the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n such_o be_v their_o stupidity_n that_o although_o they_o hear_v daily_a a_o great_a &_o more_o dreadful_a noise_n even_o the_o mighty_a and_o terrible_a voice_n of_o god_n which_o sound_v in_o his_o word_n and_o whereby_o he_o threaten_v they_o in_o most_o fearful_a manner_n not_o only_o with_o temporal_a judgement_n but_o also_o with_o eternal_a perdition_n and_o destruction_n yet_o they_o be_v scarce_o once_o move_v they_o fear_v not_o they_o do_v not_o quake_v and_o tremble_v but_o soothe_v up_o themselves_o in_o the_o wickedness_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o bless_v themselves_o in_o their_o sinful_a and_o ungodlie_a way_n think_v that_o all_o be_v well_o and_o dream_v of_o nothing_o but_o of_o peace_n and_o safety_n when_o their_o confusion_n be_v near_a and_o sudden_a destruction_n and_o desolation_n ready_a present_o to_o seize_v upon_o they_o o_o let_v it_o be_v otherwise_o with_o i_o &_o with_o all_o they_o that_o fear_v thy_o name_n o_o lord_n let_v i_o be_v touch_v &_o right_o affect_v with_o the_o consideration_n of_o thy_o great_a and_o glorious_a majesty_n when_o i_o behold_v thy_o wondrous_a and_o marvelous_a work_n how_o thou_o cast_v forth_o thy_o lightning_n unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n and_o thunder_v from_o heaven_n with_o a_o great_a sage_n that_o ever_o be_v it_o be_v nothing_o yea_o what_o if_o thou_o can_v say_v over_o the_o whole_a bible_n without_o book_n and_o with_o the_o superstitious_a jew_n tell_v exact_o how_o oft_o every_o letter_n be_v find_v in_o the_o same_o and_o withal_o be_v able_a to_o expound_v the_o hard_a and_o most_o difficult_a place_n therein_o that_o can_v be_v put_v unto_o thou_o so_o that_o all_o that_o hear_v of_o thou_o do_v admire_v thou_o as_o one_o very_o rare_a and_o eminent_a in_o thy_o kind_n all_o this_o be_v nothing_o it_o be_v in_o vain_a and_o no_o way_n available_a unto_o thou_o if_o thou_o be_v not_o as_o careful_a to_o have_v thy_o heart_n touch_v thy_o mind_n sanctify_v and_o thy_o life_n reform_v as_o thy_o head_n stuff_v and_o fill_v with_o variety_n and_o abundance_n of_o knowledge_n &_o learning_n if_o thou_o do_v not_o labour_v as_o much_o if_o not_o more_o for_o the_o practice_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o thou_o know_v then_o for_o the_o bare_a and_o naked_a speculation_n itself_o without_o fruth_a profit_n give_v i_o grace_n o_o lord_n as_o to_o use_v all_o good_a mean_n to_o attain_v unto_o all_o kind_n of_o learning_n which_o be_v necessary_a and_o profitable_a for_o i_o especial_o the_o knowledge_n of_o thy_o word_n and_o those_o secret_a and_o hide_a mystery_n which_o thou_o have_v therein_o reveal_v so_o much_o more_o with_o all_o diligence_n careful_o and_o conscionable_o to_o practice_v those_o thing_n which_o i_o have_v learn_v join_v to_o my_o knowledge_n virtue_n faith_n temperance_n patience_n godliness_n and_o unfeigned_a love_n and_o charity_n unto_o all_o man_n even_o my_o enemy_n and_o those_o that_o be_v most_o bitter_a towards_o i_o yea_o most_o wicked_o and_o malicious_o set_v against_o i_o that_o and_o yet_o be_v of_o a_o exceed_a corrupt_a mind_n and_o of_o a_o most_o unsound_a life_n knowledge_n be_v good_a and_o to_o be_v desire_v and_o seek_v for_o and_o that_o with_o diligence_n but_o yet_o good_a affection_n must_v be_v join_v with_o it_o and_o increase_v by_o it_o or_o else_o it_o will_v not_o be_v profitable_a but_o hurtful_a and_o dangerous_a make_v the_o owner_n of_o it_o the_o field_n or_o the_o wither_a and_o fade_a grass_n whereas_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v most_o flourish_v on_o earth_n no_o not_o those_o celestial_a creature_n the_o star_n of_o heaven_n nor_o the_o sun_n and_o moon_n themselves_o those_o excellent_a and_o glorious_a light_n be_v comparable_a to_o one_o soul_n it_o be_v of_o a_o far_o more_o divine_a and_o excellent_a nature_n than_o they_o be_v good_a lord_n give_v i_o to_o discern_v of_o thing_n aright_o let_v i_o always_o esteem_v more_o of_o those_o that_o be_v inward_o beautify_v with_o those_o virtue_n &_o grace_n of_o the_o mind_n wherewith_o thou_o have_v enrich_v they_o and_o which_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v most_o precious_a in_o thy_o sight_n and_o which_o thou_o do_v much_o set_v by_o then_o of_o such_o as_o want_v these_o do_v most_o flourish_n in_o the_o world_n and_o be_v most_o eminent_a for_o their_o external_a dignity_n and_o excellency_n god_n special_a providence_n over_o his_o child_n he_o that_o take_v of_o true_a glory_n unto_o which_o that_o be_v no_o way_n comparable_a and_o deprive_v he_o of_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a grace_n the_o most_o precious_a jewel_n in_o this_o world_n and_o most_o to_o be_v desire_v and_o seek_v for_o far_o above_o all_o fade_a and_o earthly_a vanity_n for_o while_o that_o any_o seek_v to_o please_v himself_o overmuch_o in_o receive_v honour_n of_o man_n he_o can_v of_o their_o salvation_n they_o know_v themselves_o to_o be_v elect_v &_o redeem_v by_o christ_n their_o saviour_n and_o that_o none_o can_v take_v they_o out_o of_o his_o hand_n who_o be_v so_o mighty_a and_o powerful_a in_o himself_o and_o so_o gracious_a and_o love_a unto_o they_o yea_o by_o faith_n and_o hope_v they_o be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n and_o in_o spirit_n behold_v that_o mansion_n place_v provide_v for_o they_o and_o that_o glory_n which_o he_o who_o never_o deceive_v any_o that_o trust_v in_o he_o have_v promise_v unto_o they_o the_o remembrance_n and_o joyful_a
