according_a to_o god_n and_o therefore_o thou_o be_v modest_a it_o be_v well_o but_o have_v thou_o withal_o a_o high_a and_o a_o lofty_a spirit_n that_o if_o it_o be_v heavenly_a matter_n thou_o be_v to_o be_v exercise_v in_o they_o can_v be_v too_o high_a for_o thou_o let_v a_o man_n tell_v thou_o of_o state_n matter_n come_v before_o prince_n and_o tell_v thou_o of_o nobility_n thou_o be_v ashamed_a and_o know_v not_o how_o to_o set_v about_o such_o thing_n as_o those_o be_v but_o tell_v thou_o of_o a_o inheritance_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n and_o the_o make_v it_o sure_a to_o thou_o in_o a_o way_n of_o god_n grace_n tell_v thou_o of_o pardon_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o precious_a promise_n of_o god_n and_o thy_o heart_n can_v look_v at_o these_o high_o than_o thou_o be_v of_o a_o magnanimous_a spirit_n then_o be_v thy_o modesty_n in_o outward_a thing_n well_o couple_v but_o he_o who_o spirit_n be_v most_o lofty_a shall_v be_v most_o humble_a couple_v they_o together_o and_o they_o well_o suit_v one_o another_o when_o they_o go_v hand_n in_o hand_n righteousness_n and_o peace_n go_v together_o modesty_n and_o magnanimity_n humility_n and_o courage_n go_v together_o they_o make_v a_o amiable_a set_v of_o grace_n wherever_o they_o be_v so_o couple_v if_o it_o be_v of_o thing_n concern_v thyself_o thou_o have_v not_o a_o heart_n to_o stand_v out_o against_o any_o man_n of_o place_n but_o he_o may_v bow_v thou_o round_o about_o but_o if_o they_o wrong_v thou_o so_o far_o as_o god_n honour_n be_v interest_v in_o the_o thing_n thou_o can_v then_o stand_v upon_o thy_o lawful_a right_n and_o if_o therein_o thou_o be_v impeach_v thou_o can_v come_v off_o with_o this_o thou_o be_v not_o inferior_a to_o the_o chief_a apostle_n and_o yet_o be_v nothing_o nor_o be_v able_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n again_o look_v at_o thy_o worldly_a business_n be_v thou_o diligent_a in_o thy_o call_v it_o be_v well_o and_o you_o say_v curse_v be_v he_o that_o do_v the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n negligent_o and_o the_o work_n of_o his_o call_v be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o how_o stand_v thy_o heart_n affect_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o thy_o business_n be_v thy_o heart_n dead_a to_o the_o world_n go_v not_o about_o it_o with_o a_o worldly_a heart_n go_v not_o about_o it_o for_o profit_n sake_n but_o because_o god_n set_v thou_o about_o it_o and_o you_o be_v more_o free_a to_o the_o service_n of_o god_n and_o to_o do_v more_o good_a this_o be_v the_o life_n of_o sanctification_n and_o last_o if_o god_n give_v we_o heart_n so_o abundant_a in_o love_n that_o it_o both_o thaw_v our_o cold_a and_o stiff_a heart_n towards_o our_o poor_a brethren_n and_o also_o put_v a_o watery_a temper_n to_o cool_v the_o wildfire_n of_o our_o wrath_n towards_o our_o enemy_n it_o be_v a_o mighty_a power_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n to_o turn_v itself_o so_o many_o way_n for_o the_o right_a order_n and_o frame_v of_o a_o christian_a in_o the_o course_n of_o his_o sanctification_n these_o be_v comfortable_a sign_n of_o our_o life_n of_o sanctification_n sermon_n ix_o 1_o john_n 5.12_o he_o that_o have_v the_o son_n have_v life_n and_o he_o that_o have_v not_o the_o son_n have_v not_o life_n now_o we_o come_v to_o speak_v of_o such_o effect_n of_o the_o life_n of_o sanctification_n life_n effect_n of_o sanctification_n sign_n of_o spiritual_a life_n as_o show_v themselves_o in_o the_o life_n of_o christian_n by_o observe_v of_o which_o in_o ourselves_o we_o may_v know_v we_o have_v christ_n and_o life_n in_o he_o now_o these_o effect_n be_v suitable_a to_o the_o effect_n of_o natural_a life_n and_o they_o be_v principal_o five_o the_o first_o be_v motion_n motion_n 1_o effect_v motion_n when_o a_o creature_n be_v able_a to_o move_v itself_o unto_o the_o duty_n of_o its_o place_n it_o be_v a_o effect_n of_o natural_a life_n when_o it_o be_v able_a to_o move_v itself_o in_o its_o place_n than_o it_o be_v say_v to_o live_v such_o or_o such_o a_o life_n if_o you_o see_v a_o creature_n stir_n and_o move_v not_o further_o then_o by_o the_o help_n of_o another_o than_o you_o say_v it_o live_v not_o but_o if_o it_o stir_v of_o itself_o than_o you_o say_v it_o live_v nor_o be_v it_o strait_a way_n alive_a if_o it_o move_v unless_o it_o be_v in_o its_o place_n for_o you_o see_v earthly_a thing_n will_v move_v downward_o if_o they_o be_v upward_o and_o light_a thing_n will_v move_v upward_o but_o these_o be_v out_o of_o their_o place_n they_o be_v rather_o move_v then_o themselves_o do_v move_v when_o they_o be_v out_o of_o their_o place_n and_o it_o be_v not_o so_o much_o from_o a_o power_n of_o move_v but_o rather_o a_o affection_n to_o rest_n than_o a_o power_n to_o move_v themselves_o and_o further_o suppose_v they_o shall_v move_v themselves_o meet_v it_o be_v they_o shall_v move_v themselves_o to_o such_o action_n as_o argue_v as_o argue_v this_o and_o that_o life_n which_o they_o express_v suppose_v a_o tree_n move_v itself_o and_o nourish_v itself_o and_o grow_v and_o that_o in_o its_o place_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o move_v itself_o to_o see_v nor_o hear_v and_o beast_n that_o do_v move_v themselves_o to_o see_v and_o hear_v yet_o they_o can_v move_v themselves_o to_o act_n of_o reason_n and_o man_n that_o can_v move_v to_o act_n of_o reason_n yet_o can_v move_v themselves_o to_o any_o spiritual_a duty_n and_o work_n of_o grace_n so_o that_o that_o motion_n which_o argue_v the_o life_n
