and_o peculiar_a to_o the_o elect_a alone_o the_o common_a grace_n be_v especial_o those_o moral_a virtue_n of_o wisdom_n justice_n fortitude_n temperance_n patience_n etc._n etc._n which_o may_v not_o only_o be_v lose_v and_o quite_o extinguish_v in_o civil_a man_n but_o also_o in_o the_o faithful_a because_o they_o be_v not_o essential_a to_o a_o christian_a but_o rather_o ornament_n than_o part_n of_o the_o spiritual_a man_n so_o in_o david_n when_o he_o feign_v himself_o mad_a and_o in_o the_o matter_n of_o bathsheba_n and_o in_o his_o unjust_a sentence_n against_o mephibosheth_n thus_o noah_n lose_v his_o temperance_n let_v his_o chastity_n jeremy_n and_o jonah_n their_o patience_n etc._n etc._n but_o as_o for_o those_o sanctify_a grace_n proper_a and_o peculiar_a to_o they_o grievous_a foil_n and_o lie_v cover_v under_o incredulity_n as_o fire_n under_o ash_n or_o the_o sun_n under_o a_o cloud_n they_o may_v seem_v to_o loose_a repentance_n when_o they_o be_v overtake_v afresh_o by_o their_o old_a sin_n especial_o when_o after_o they_o be_v cleanse_v they_o relapse_n into_o gross_a sin_n not_o only_o through_o ignorance_n but_o witting_o against_o knowledge_n and_o conscience_n etc._n etc._n yet_o these_o save_a grace_n be_v not_o lose_v but_o only_o hide_v and_o cover_v for_o a_o time_n second_o other_o grace_n which_o spring_n from_o those_o which_o be_v fundamental_a and_o absolute_o necessary_a to_o the_o be_v of_o a_o christian_a may_v for_o a_o time_n be_v lose_v as_o full_a assurance_n peace_n of_o conscience_n zeal_n of_o god_n glory_n the_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o his_o love_n joy_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n etc._n etc._n which_o tend_v to_o the_o well_o be_v of_o a_o christian_a may_v in_o respect_n of_o present_a apprehension_n not_o yet_o we_o must_v not_o ascribe_v this_o permanency_n of_o their_o grace_n to_o any_o property_n or_o excellency_n which_o god_n child_n have_v in_o themselves_o as_o if_o by_o their_o own_o
