not_o good_a and_o lively_a thing_n in_o deed_n for_o true_a faith_n do_v geve_v life_n to_o the_o work_n and_o out_o of_o such_o faith_n come_v good_a work_v that_o be_v very_o good_a work_v in_o deed_n and_o without_o it_o no_o work_n be_v good_a before_o god_n as_o say_v saint_n augustine_n xxxi_o we_o must_v set_v not_o good_a work_n before_o faith_n nor_o think_v that_o before_o faith_n say_v safeguard_n of_o their_o good_a work_n that_o the_o reward_n of_o they_o be_v not_o utter_o lose_v iii._n and_o this_o matter_n which_o s._n augustin_n at_o large_a in_o many_o book_n dispute_v s._n ambrose_n conclude_v in_o few_o word_n sai_v he_o that_o by_o nature_n will_v withstand_v vice_n either_o by_o natural_a will_n or_o reason_n he_o do_v in_o vain_a garnishe_v the_o time_n of_o do_v good_a deed_n yet_o without_o faith_n he_o have_v no_o life_n i_o can_v show_v a_o man_n that_o by_o faith_n without_o work_n live_v &_o come_v to_o heaven_n but_o without_o faith_n never_o man_n have_v life_n the_o thief_n that_o be_v hang_v when_o christ_n suffer_v do_v believe_v only_o and_o the_o most_o merciful_a god_n do_v justify_v he_o and_o because_o no_o man_n shall_v object_n that_o
