be_v consider_v of_o us._n first_o the_o matter_n whereunto_o the_o wicked_a be_v compare_v unto_o chaff_n second_o the_o condition_n of_o chaff_n which_o the_o wind_n drive_v away_o in_o the_o former_a of_o these_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v how_o the_o wicked_a resemble_v chaff_n natural_o and_o accidental_o how_o wicked_a compare_v to_o chaff_n how_o natural_o chaff_n be_v light_a and_o unprofitable_a first_o it_o be_v light_n contain_v in_o it_o no_o solid_a and_o weighty_a matter_n but_o a_o very_a sleight_n and_o frothy_a substance_n light_n 1_o light_n subject_a to_o many_o alteration_n even_o so_o the_o wicked_a be_v not_o solid_a in_o their_o purpose_n &_o enterprise_n &_o weighty_a in_o their_o carriage_n and_o course_n but_o as_o chaff_n light_n easy_o toss_v &_o blow_v away_o it_o may_v appear_v unto_o we_o that_o the_o wicked_a be_v as_o chaff_n light_n because_o they_o be_v light_n of_o their_o word_n 12.26_o ecclesiastic_a 12.26_o they_o have_v not_o their_o mouth_n in_o their_o heart_n like_o a_o wise_a man_n but_o they_o have_v their_o heart_n in_o their_o mouth_n like_o a_o fool_n do_v they_o promise_v any_o thing_n their_o word_n be_v as_o wind_n as_o the_o proverb_n be_v do_v they_o vow_v any_o thing_n they_o keep_v their_o vow_n like_o those_o that_o vow_v paul_n death_n do_v they_o swear_v any_o thing_n they_o be_v but_o as_o bell_n and_o bubble_n in_o the_o water_n break_v in_o a_o moment_n of_o time_n so_o that_o the_o wicked_a in_o respect_n of_o their_o word_n vow_n or_o oath_n may_v well_o be_v compare_v to_o chaff_n light_n again_o the_o wicked_a may_v well_o be_v compare_v to_o chaff_n light_n because_o they_o be_v light_n of_o their_o mind_n entertain_v and_o exclude_v one_o while_o admit_v another_o while_n reject_v infinite_a purpose_n and_o thought_n of_o heart_n again_o they_o be_v light_n of_o their_o body_n by_o commit_v many_o fornication_n yea_o let_v their_o virtue_n be_v compare_v with_o their_o vice_n it_o will_v then_o appear_v that_o they_o be_v light_a than_o vanity_n itself_o second_o as_o the_o wicked_a be_v like_o chaff_n light_n so_o be_v they_o unprofitable_a and_o that_o two_o way_n first_o in_o matter_n temporal_a concern_v this_o life_n wherein_o though_o they_o have_v ability_n as_o they_o have_v for_o the_o most_o part_n yet_o they_o want_v will_n to_o do_v good_a with_o the_o same_o second_o in_o matter_n spiritual_a wherein_o though_o they_o have_v a_o will_n which_o be_v a_o rare_a thing_n to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o wicked_a yet_o they_o want_v ability_n unprofitable_a unprofitable_a first_o the_o wicked_a be_v as_o chaff_n unprofitable_a in_o regard_n of_o matter_n temporal_a for_o who_o do_v regard_v the_o affliction_n of_o joseph_n for_o either_o their_o will_n be_v whole_o bend_v upon_o covetousness_n or_o prodigality_n this_o be_v a_o evil_n which_o the_o preacher_n see_v under_o the_o sun_n 6.2_o eccl._n 6.2_o a_o man_n to_o who_o god_n have_v give_v riches_n and_o treasure_n and_o honour_n and_o he_o want_v nothing_o for_o his_o soul_n of_o all_o that_o he_o desire_v but_o god_n give_v he_o no_o power_n to_o eat_v thereof_o but_o do_v pharaoh_n and_o the_o egyptian_n 10._o exod._n 10._o and_o as_o the_o palmer-worm_n and_o the_o like_a kind_n of_o caterpillar_n do_v the_o man_n of_o juda_n and_o israel_n 1.3.4_o joel._n
