not_o think_v that_o this_o diligence_n to_o attain_v to_o understand_v the_o scripture_n be_v in_o the_o people_n vain_a curiosity_n but_o a_o profitable_a study_n for_o the_o proof_n whereof_o he_o paul_n be_v say_v sometime_o to_o have_v use_v the_o cilicians_n tongue_n thus_o we_o may_v answer_v that_o the_o holyghost_n decree_v to_o write_v those_o thing_n both_o for_o the_o learned_a and_o unlearned_a wherefore_o it_o be_v requisite_a to_o use_v the_o common_a and_o vulgar_a speech_n for_o it_o oftentimes_o happen_v that_o the_o unlearned_a be_v through_o too_o much_o exquisiteness_n not_o sin_n and_o be_v ignorant_a of_o lust_n unless_o the_o law_n have_v say_v thou_o shall_v not_o lust_n but_o he_o say_v not_o that_o he_o have_v not_o sin_n before_o the_o law_n for_o there_o be_v even_o then_o also_o sin_n in_o he_o but_o it_o be_v not_o acknowledge_v and_o a_o little_a afterward_o how_o sin_n be_v in_o he_o then_o he_o declare_v say_v sin_n before_o the_o law_n be_v nether_a weak_a nor_o strong_a but_o man_n be_v judge_v weak_a so_o long_o as_o he_o be_v leave_v under_o the_o law_n and_o be_v not_o holpen_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n this_o place_n most_o strong_o work_n a_o argument_n of_o justification_n that_o it_o be_v not_o have_v by_o work_n prove_v that_o justification_n be_v not_o of_o work_n and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o work_n preparatory_a for_o work_n which_o go_v before_o justification_n either_o do_v agree_v with_o the_o law_n of_o god_n or_o else_o they_o defect_n or_o want_n of_o it_o if_o they_o agree_v with_o the_o law_n they_o of_o necessity_n we_o must_v grant_v that_o the_o law_n be_v not_o weak_a as_o that_o which_o without_o the_o spirit_n and_o grace_n may_v be_v perform_v paul_n in_o this_o place_n affirm_v that_o thing_n to_o be_v unpossible_a but_o if_o such_o work_n fail_v of_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o law_n â–ª_o which_o can_v not_o be_v deny_v then_o must_v we_o needs_o grant_v that_o they_o be_v sin_n but_o by_o sin_n no_o man_n can_v be_v justify_v here_o also_o be_v reprove_v the_o pelagian_n which_o take_v upon_o they_o to_o say_v and_o teach_v that_o a_o man_n by_o overthrow_v the_o pelagians_n be_v in_o this_o place_n overthrow_v the_o strength_n of_o nature_n be_v able_a to_o fulfil_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o law_n for_o paul_n teach_v contrariwise_o that_o the_o law_n be_v so_o weaken_v by_o the_o flesh_n that_o it_o behove_v we_o to_o be_v deliver_v by_o a_o other_o help_n but_o where_o as_o he_o say_v yâ—_z the_o law_n be_v weaken_v by_o yâ—_z flesh_n no_o man_n ought_v therefore_o false_o to_o suppose_v yâ—_z here_o be_v conden_v yâ—_z substance_n of_o the_o flesh_n or_o nature_n of_o yâ—_z body_n for_o these_o thing_n god_n create_v good_a but_o by_o flesh_n he_o understand_v yâ—_z naughtiness_n &_o corruption_n which_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o fall_n of_o adam_n pass_v through_o all_o mankind_n which_o corruption_n forasmuch_o as_o it_o be_v still_o remain_v
