conversation_n faith_n be_v a_o save_a grace_n if_o it_o be_v true_a faith_n but_o noscitur_fw-la ex_fw-la socio_fw-la if_o it_o be_v not_o accompany_v with_o good_a work_n it_o be_v but_o dead_a faith_n and_o the_o necessity_n of_o moral_a virtue_n yea_o without_o any_o disparagement_n to_o faith_n after_o that_o we_o have_v give_v it_o its_o due_a pre-eminence_n yet_o we_o may_v safe_o say_v that_o though_o it_o be_v more_o excellent_a in_o some_o kind_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o so_o in_o every_o respect_n for_o there_o be_v some_o excellency_n of_o a_o good_a upright_a sober_a conversation_n which_o can_v proper_o be_v affirm_v concern_v either_o faith_n or_o repentance_n of_o which_o sort_n be_v these_o two_o sect._n 3_o faith_n and_o repentance_n be_v rather_o though_o we_o be_v sinner_n we_o do_v not_o cease_v to_o be_v man_n therefore_o as_o because_o we_o be_v sinner_n we_o must_v repent_v and_o believe_v so_o because_o we_o be_v man_n we_o be_v oblige_v to_o virtue_n moreover_o faith_n and_o repentance_n be_v but_o purgative_a virtue_n as_o the_o platonist_n speak_v but_o charity_n etc._n etc._n be_v paradeigmatical_a that_o be_v by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n we_o be_v purge_v from_o sin_n and_o so_o prepare_v for_o communion_n with_o god_n but_o by_o the_o other_o we_o do_v proper_o resemble_v god_n it_o be_v therefore_o to_o be_v observe_v we_o be_v command_v to_o be_v holy_a as_o god_n be_v holy_a particular_o to_o be_v merciful_a to_o love_n and_o do_v good_a as_o god_n do_v to_o be_v meek_a and_o lowly_a as_o christ_n be_v but_o we_o be_v not_o command_v to_o believe_v as_o god_n believe_v for_o faith_n and_o repentance_n in_o that_o notion_n in_o which_o we_o now_o speak_v as_o suppose_v sin_n to_o be_v repent_v of_o and_o by_o faith_n to_o be_v justify_v from_o can_v without_o blasphemy_n be_v attribute_v to_o the_o infinite_a and_o holy_a god_n yet_o those_o other_o thing_n be_v resemblance_n of_o the_o divine_a perfection_n as_o may_v be_v at_o large_a show_v but_o i_o reserve_v it_o to_o another_o place_n four_o book_n four_o sect._n 4_o so_o that_o now_o lay_v these_o thing_n together_o as_o when_o we_o preach_v morality_n we_o do_v not_o go_v about_o to_o undermine_v faith_n so_o neither_o on_o the_o other_o side_n when_o we_o extol_v faith_n may_v we_o be_v so_o understand_v as_o to_o deny_v the_o necessity_n of_o these_o moral_a virtue_n nay_o if_o i_o shall_v say_v yet_o a_o little_a more_o i_o shall_v but_o speak_v the_o mind_n of_o a_o very_a learned_a and_o holy_a man_n who_o word_n i_o
