natural_a or_o unnatural_a to_o man_n by_o those_o humane_a brute_n who_o by_o their_o perpetual_a wallow_n in_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o body_n have_v monstrous_o disfigure_v their_o own_o nature_n and_o dissolve_v all_o that_o reason_n by_o which_o they_o be_v constitute_v man_n into_o a_o mere_a sensual_a sagacity_n of_o cater_v for_o the_o appetite_n of_o the_o flesh._n if_o we_o will_v know_v therefore_o what_o be_v humane_a and_o natural_a to_o we_o we_o must_v take_v our_o measure_n from_o those_o who_o be_v least_o deprave_v and_o be_v most_o conformable_a to_o the_o law_n reason_n and_o these_o be_v the_o man_n who_o we_o call_v virtuous_a and_o who_o because_o they_o live_v in_o the_o exercise_n of_o those_o noble_a virtue_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o we_o man_n be_v to_o be_v look_v upon_o as_o the_o standard_n of_o humane_a nature_n by_o who_o alone_o we_o can_v judge_v of_o what_o be_v natural_a and_o unnatural_a to_o we_o now_o virtue_n and_o the_o desire_n and_o hope_n of_o immortality_n be_v so_o near_o ally_v that_o like_o hippocrates_n twin_n they_o live_v and_o die_v together_o for_o though_o while_o man_n live_v a_o brutish_a and_o sensual_a life_n their_o future_a hope_n be_v usual_o drown_v in_o their_o present_a enjoyment_n yet_o when_o once_o they_o recover_v out_o of_o this_o unnatural_a state_n and_o begin_v to_o live_v virtuous_o like_o reasonable_a being_n immediate_o they_o feel_v great_a desire_n and_o expectation_n of_o a_o future_a happiness_n
