party_n offend_v and_o this_o to_o be_v only_o for_o the_o first_o offence_n and_o if_o such_o offender_n or_o appoint_v through_o defect_n of_o distress_n or_o not_o payment_n of_o the_o say_v 20_o shilling_n within_o six_o day_n after_o conviction_n the_o offender_n to_o be_v commit_v to_o a_o constable_n or_o to_o be_v apprehend_v and_o open_o whip_v for_o the_o say_a offence_n as_o the_o justice_n shall_v limit_v or_o appoint_v offender_n shall_v not_o have_v sufficient_a good_n and_o chattel_n whereby_o the_o say_v twenty_o shilling_n may_v be_v levy_v by_o way_n of_o distress_n as_o that_o if_o the_o say_a offender_n or_o offender_n be_v a_o unlicence_v alehousekeeper_n shall_v offend_v in_o any_o of_o the_o premise_n the_o second_o time_n and_o be_v thereof_o lawful_o convict_v in_o manner_n and_o form_n aforesaid_a that_o then_o the_o say_a mayor_n bailiff_n justice_n or_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n shall_v commit_v he_o her_z or_o they_o unto_o the_o house_n of_o correction_n there_o to_o remain_v for_o the_o space_n of_o one_o month_n and_o be_v deal_v withal_o as_o idle_a lewd_a and_o disorderly_a person_n and_o if_o such_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v again_o offend_v and_o shall_v be_v thereof_o convict_v as_o aforesaid_a that_o then_o the_o say_a offender_n or_o offender_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v unto_o the_o say_a house_n of_o correction_n as_o aforesaid_a there_o to_o remain_v until_o by_o the_o order_n of_o the_o justice_n in_o their_o general_a session_n for_o the_o county_n city_n borough_n or_o franchise_n he_o she_o or_o they_o shall_v be_v deliver_v from_o thence_o provide_v always_o that_o such_o offender_n or_o offender_n as_o shall_v be_v again_o no_o offender_n have_v they_o distribute_v to_o the_o poor_a if_o such_o person_n refuse_v to_o pay_v over_o the_o say_a moiety_n or_o that_o the_o churchwarden_n and_o overseer_n do_v not_o within_o convenient_a time_n distribute_v the_o same_o to_o the_o poor_a every_o person_n so_o offend_v shall_v forfeit_v the_o double_a value_n thereof_o other_o officer_n and_o person_n which_o shall_v levy_v or_o receive_v any_o such_o forfeiture_n or_o forfeiture_n aforesaid_a and_o shall_v pay_v over_o the_o moiety_n and_o one_o half_a thereof_o according_a to_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o this_o act_n shall_v be_v shall_v refuse_v to_o pay_v over_o the_o moiety_n and_o one_o half_a of_o the_o say_a money_n by_o he_o or_o they_o levy_v or_o receive_v or_o that_o the_o say_v churchwarden_n and_o overseer_n to_o who_o the_o say_a money_n shall_v be_v so_o pay_v shall_v not_o from_o time_n to_o time_n within_o convenient_a time_n true_o distribute_v and_o bestow_v the_o same_o to_o and_o among_o the_o poor_a
