such_o effect_n to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n as_o if_o the_o same_o offence_n have_v be_v whole_o and_o altogether_o do_v and_o commit_v at_o and_o in_o such_o county_n provide_v always_o and_o or_o other_o vessel_n for_o necessary_a use_n only_o of_o and_o about_o the_o ordnance_n or_o other_o thing_n in_o or_o concern_v such_o ship_n or_o vessel_n or_o only_o for_o the_o necessary_a use_n of_o any_o the_o person_n in_o such_o ship_n or_o vessel_n pass_v or_o be_v and_o which_o shall_v not_o be_v sell_v or_o utter_v in_o any_o foreign_a part_n out_o of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n or_o ireland_n or_o town_n of_o berwick_n istes_n or_o dominion_n aforesaid_a nor_o to_o the_o export_n transport_v carry_v or_o convey_v of_o any_o weather-sheep_n or_o of_o the_o wool_n grow_v upon_o any_o such_o weather-sheep_n to_o be_v carry_v alive_a in_o any_o ship_n or_o other_o vessel_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o only_a necessary_a food_n or_o diet_n of_o or_o for_o the_o company_n or_o passenger_n or_o other_o person_n therein_o and_o for_o and_o towards_o none_o other_o purpose_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o such_o wool_n to_o be_v export_v or_o transport_v out_o of_o or_o from_o the_o port_n of_o southampton_n only_o unto_o the_o aforesaid_a isle_n of_o jersey_n and_o guernzey_n by_o or_o for_o the_o only_a use_n or_o behoof_n of_o any_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o say_a isle_n of_o jersey_n and_o guernzey_n or_o either_o of_o they_o or_o to_o any_o such_o wool_n to_o be_v ship_v or_o load_v aboard_o in_o any_o ship_n or_o other_o vessel_n by_o or_o for_o the_o only_a use_n or_o behoof_n of_o any_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o say_a isle_n of_o jersey_n or_o guernsey_n or_o either_o of_o they_o in_o the_o port_n aforesaid_a to_o be_v export_v and_o transport_v into_o the_o say_a isle_n of_o jersey_n or_o guernzey_n or_o either_o of_o they_o so_o as_o such_o person_n and_o person_n that_o shall_v so_o ship_v or_o lay_v aboard_o such_o wool_n into_o any_o ship_n or_o other_o vessel_n do_v before_o the_o ship_n or_o lay_v aboard_o such_o wool_n deliver_v unto_o the_o customer_n comptroller_n surveyor_n or_o searcher_n of_o the_o port_n of_o southampton_n aforesaid_a out_o of_o which_o the_o same_o wool_n be_v to_o be_v export_v a_o writing_n under_o the_o seal_n or_o seal_n of_o the_o respective_a governor_n of_o the_o same_o isle_n of_o jersey_n and_o guernzey_n unto_o which_o the_o say_a wool_n be_v to_o be_v transport_v or_o of_o his_o or_o their_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n respective_o the_o which_o writing_n shall_v purport_n and_o express_v that_o the_o party_n name_v in_o such_o writing_n be_v authorise_v and_o appoint_v to_o export_n or_o to_o cause_v to_o be_v export_v out_o of_o the_o port_n aforesaid_a so_o much_o wool_n express_v the_o number_n of_o the_o tod_n to_o the_o same_o isle_n to_o be_v use_v or_o manufacture_v in_o one_o of_o the_o same_o isle_n or_o in_o some_o of_o the_o member_n or_o part_n of_o the_o same_o and_o that_o such_o party_n so_o authorise_v and_o appoint_v to_o export_n or_o cause_n to_o be_v export_v that_o wool_n have_v before_o the_o make_n and_o seal_v of_o that_o writing_n enter_v sufficient_a bond_n to_o his_o majesty_n use_n for_o the_o land_n of_o the_o say_a wool_n in_o that_o isle_n and_o to_o the_o intent_n that_o the_o quantity_n of_o wool_n to_o be_v export_v out_o of_o the_o port_n of_o southampton_n aforesaid_a into_o the_o say_a isle_n or_o either_o of_o they_o in_o any_o one_o year_n account_v the_o year_n to_o begin_v from_o the_o first_o day_n of_o january_n next_o ensue_v and_o so_o yearly_a from_o the_o first_o day_n of_o january_n may_v not_o exceed_v the_o quantity_n hereunder_o specify_v that_o be_v tosay_v unto_o the_o isle_n of_o jerâ—ey_n two_o thousand_o tod_n and_o no_o more_o of_o unkeamed_a wool_n and_o unto_o tobacco_n be_v one_o of_o the_o main_a product_n of_o several_a of_o those_o plantation_n and_o upon_o which_o their_o welfare_n and_o subsistence_n and_o the_o navigation_n of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o vent_v of_o its_o commodity_n thither_o do_v much_o depend_v and_o in_o regard_n it_o be_v find_v by_o experience_n that_o the_o tobacco_n plant_v in_o these_o part_n be_v not_o so_o good_a and_o wholesome_a for_o the_o taker_n thereof_o and_o that_o by_o the_o plant_v thereof_o your_o majesty_n be_v deprive_v of_o a_o considerable_a part_n of_o your_o revenue_n arise_v by_o custom_n upon_o import_v tobacco_n do_v most_o humble_o pray_v that_o it_o may_v be_v enact_v by_o your_o majesty_n and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v by_o the_o king_n most_o excellent_a majesty_n and_o the_o lord_n and_o commons_o in_o this_o present_a parliament_n assemble_v and_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o same_o that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o shall_v or_o do_v from_o and_o after_o the_o first_o day_n of_o january_n in_o the_o year_n of_o our_o lord_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o and_o sixty_o set_v plant_v improve_v to_o grow_v make_v or_o cure_v any_o tobacco_n destroy_v all_o such_o tobacco_n so_o set_v sow_v plant_v or_o grow_v and_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o enact_v that_o in_o case_n any_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v resist_v or_o make_v forcible_a opposition_n against_o any_o person_n or_o person_n in_o the_o due_a and_o through_o execution_n of_o this_o act_n that_o every_o such_o person_n or_o person_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n shall_v forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o pound_n to_o be_v divide_v and_o recover_v in_o manner_n aforesaid_a and_o in_o case_n any_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v not_o pay_v the_o sum_n of_o money_n by_o they_o to_o be_v pay_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n that_o in_o every_o such_o case_n destress_n shall_v be_v make_v and_o sale_n thereof_o return_v the_o overplus_a to_o the_o owner_n and_o in_o chirurgery_n only_o so_o as_o the_o quantity_n so_o plant_v exceed_v not_o one_o half_a of_o one_o pole_n in_o any_o one_o place_n or_o garden_n anno_fw-la xii_o caroli_n ii_o regis_n a_o act_n for_o erect_v and_o establish_v a_o post-office_n whereas_o for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o mutual_a correspondency_n and_o prevention_n of_o many_o inconvenience_n happen_v by_o private_a post_n several_a public_a post-office_n have_v be_v heretofore_o erect_v for_o carry_v and_o recarry_v of_o letter_n by_o post_n to_o and_o from_o all_o part_n and_o place_n within_o england_n scotland_n and_o
