certain_o apostatise_v if_o their_o heart_n take_v deep_a root_n in_o the_o earth_n if_o you_o find_v your_o spirit_n so_o glue_v to_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n that_o you_o know_v not_o how_o be_v nothing_o more_o unbeseeming_a a_o christian_n than_o a_o crafty_a cunning_a subtilness_n for_o the_o world_n many_o man_n bless_v themselves_o in_o this_o and_o they_o take_v abundance_n of_o live_v so_o long_a a_o time_n in_o the_o world_n as_o they_o have_v do_v and_o hear_v so_o much_o of_o religion_n and_o when_o one_o hear_v they_o speak_v so_o one_o will_v wonder_v how_o these_o man_n shall_v have_v understanding_n to_o live_v in_o the_o world_n but_o now_o these_o in_o the_o business_n of_o the_o world_n they_o be_v as_o worldly_a politic_a no_o man_n can_v out_o go_v they_o there_o they_o can_v foresee_v all_o kind_n of_o danger_n in_o any_o miscarriage_n and_o can_v judge_v of_o twenty_o thing_n together_o in_o their_o thought_n and_o compare_v one_o thing_n with_o another_o see_v further_o into_o the_o world_n than_o other_o man_n so_o that_o a_o man_n will_v wonder_v sometime_o i_o say_v when_o one_o hear_v they_o speak_v of_o religion_n whether_o these_o man_n have_v any_o wit_n or_o understanding_n but_o when_o one_o follow_v they_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n you_o shall_v see_v they_o as_o witty_a as_o understanding_n as_o judicious_a and_o as_o cunning_a as_o any_o man_n almost_o can_v be_v they_o have_v receive_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o world_n and_o they_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o world_n the_o god_n of_o this_o world_n have_v take_v possession_n of_o they_o and_o it_o be_v that_o that_o make_v they_o so_o but_o they_o have_v not_o receive_v the_o spirit_n of_o jesus_n christ_n they_o may_v say_v simplicity_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o be_v carry_v on_o with_o plainess_n and_o simpleness_n of_o heart_n the_o hebrew_n have_v the_o same_o word_n that_o signify_v a_o naked_a man_n and_o a_o cunning_a subtle_a man_n you_o shall_v find_v where_o it_o be_v say_v of_o adam_n and_o eve_n they_o be_v naked_a nakedness_n of_o spirit_n and_o subtlety_n may_v stand_v together_o they_o signify_v the_o same_o thing_n to_o show_v what_o kind_n of_o subtlety_n shall_v be_v in_o those_o that_o be_v the_o people_n of_o god_n it_o shall_v be_v that_o that_o may_v stand_v with_o a_o naked_a spirit_n so_o as_o if_o god_n will_v discover_v the_o secret_n of_o all_o their_o heart_n to_o all_o the_o child_n of_o man_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o have_v all_o their_o secret_n to_o be_v open_v to_o they_o but_o now_o the_o cunningness_n that_o be_v the_o cunningness_n of_o the_o serpent_n be_v such_o a_o cunningness_n as_o man_n if_o they_o be_v but_o lay_v open_a will_v quick_o be_v ashamed_a of_o and_o so_o much_o of_o the_o four_o use_n that_o it_o be_v unbeseeming_a those_o that_o be_v of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n to_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o world_n because_o christ_n kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n 5._o use_v hence_o we_o see_v the_o reason_n of_o the_o meanness_n of_o the_o outward_a condition_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n why_o be_v it_o that_o christ_n have_v so_o order_v thing_n that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v so_o outward_o poor_a in_o this_o world_n my_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n say_v christ_n therefore_o why_o shall_v any_o that_o come_v under_o my_o kingdom_n look_v for_o great_a thing_n in_o this_o world_n they_o must_v look_v to_o have_v their_o comfort_n and_o glory_n in_o thing_n that_o concern_v my_o kingdom_n and_o not_o in_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n in_o psal_n 73._o 12._o behold_v those_o that_o be_v ungodly_a prosper_v in_o this_o world_n say_v the_o scripture_n as_o for_o man_n that_o be_v godly_a and_o come_v under_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n they_o must_v look_v for_o a_o prosperity_n that_o be_v beyond_o this_o world_n god_n
