doctrine_n for_o reproof_n for_o correction_n for_o instruction_n in_o righteousness_n vers._n 17._o that_o the_o man_n of_o god_n may_v be_v perfect_a thorough_o furnish_v unto_o all_o good_a work_n now_o to_o let_v pass_v the_o translation_n which_o be_v not_o altogether_o so_o well_o as_o it_o may_v be_v here_o be_v no_o mention_n of_o a_o rule_n at_o â—ll_a the_o scripture_n be_v here_o say_v to_o be_v profitable_a but_o i_o hope_v the_o priest_n will_v not_o say_v every_o thing_n that_o be_v profitable_a be_v a_o perfect_a and_o sufficient_a rule_n he_o say_v humane_a learning_n be_v profitable_a and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o necessary_a yea_o of_o necessity_n to_o the_o understanding_n &_o preach_v the_o gospel_n will_v he_o therefore_o make_v humane_a learning_n the_o rule_n but_o how_o regardless_o be_v this_o man_n of_o speak_a truth_n who_o so_o confident_o say_v the_o scripture_n declare_v itself_o to_o be_v a_o perfect_a and_o sufficient_a rule_n in_o order_n to_o salvation_n whenas_o that_o scripture_n which_o he_o bring_v to_o prove_v this_o have_v no_o such_o word_n in_o it_o but_o he_o add_v that_o the_o scripture_n accurse_v all_o that_o shall_v preach_v any_o other_o doctrine_n gal._n 1.8_o 9_o answ._n if_o he_o mean_v any_o other_o doctrine_n than_o this_o which_o he_o have_v preach_v concern_v the_o scripture_n be_v a_o perfect_a and_o sufficient_a rule_n he_o err_v and_o wrong_v the_o text._n for_o the_o apostle_n there_o say_v if_o any_o man_n preach_v any_o â—â—her_a gospel_n unto_o you_o then_o that_o we_o haâ—e_v preach_v and_o you_o have_v receive_v let_v he_o be_v acurse_v and_o so_o say_v i_o he_o that_o preach_v any_o other_o gospel_n than_o what_o be_v then_o preach_v by_o the_o apostle_n the_o curse_n and_o woe_n be_v to_o he_o but_o let_v i_o withal_o tell_v my_o adversary_n he_o do_v unadvised_o to_o bring_v these_o two_o scripture_n together_o for_o in_o that_o to_o timothy_n the_o apostle_n say_v that_o the_o man_n of_o god_n may_v be_v perfect_a but_o that_o the_o priest_n deny_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o he_o to_o be_v so_o that_o he_o preach_v not_o only_o another_o but_o a_o direct_o contrary_a doctrine_n to_o what_o the_o apostle_n preach_v let_v he_o look_v again_o then_o and_o consider_v whether_o he_o have_v not_o bring_v the_o curse_n to_o his_o own_o door_n again_o he_o say_v pag._n 104._o consider_v how_o contrary_a these_o new_a revelation_n be_v to_o god_n
