some_o thing_n that_o do_v accompany_v the_o truth_n of_o grace_n but_o see_v not_o nor_o have_v not_o a_o increase_n in_o the_o power_n or_o principle_n of_o truth_n only_o in_o gift_n or_o profession_n or_o outward_a conformity_n in_o their_o life_n without_o or_o in_o language_n and_o rest_v there_o as_o if_o all_o be_v right_o 7._o when_o a_o soul_n be_v bring_v to_o a_o sight_n of_o the_o want_n of_o truth_n and_o a_o sight_n of_o the_o worth_n of_o truth_n and_o so_o cry_v down_o the_o live_n without_o it_o and_o cry_v up_o the_o riches_n and_o glory_n of_o it_o and_o so_o rest_v satisfy_v in_o a_o bare_a see_v the_o want_n and_o cry_v up_o the_o worth_n and_o so_o content_v its_o self_n in_o a_o bare_a sight_n and_o say_n without_o witness_v that_o power_n riches_n and_o glory_n in_o its_o own_o soul_n these_o deceit_n be_v some_o of_o they_o that_o attend_v soul_n in_o relation_n to_o conversion_n and_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n within_o but_o there_o be_v some_o deceit_n that_o attend_v man_n &_o woman_n in_o their_o external_a walking_n or_o worshipping_n i_o will_v only_o hint_n a_o few_o as_o 1._o when_o thing_n though_o false_a yet_o in_o their_o outward_a appearance_n be_v name_v as_o god_n name_v such_o thing_n in_o scripture_n that_o be_v his_o true_a appointment_n and_o so_o rest_v satisfy_v with_o the_o customary_a title_n give_v to_o it_o and_o never_o search_v into_o the_o nature_n or_o truth_n of_o it_o as_o preach_v pray_v sing_v baptism_n and_o break_v bread_n etc._n etc._n because_o it_o be_v call_v so_o therefore_o it_o be_v so_o 2._o deceit_n be_v when_o the_o soul_n do_v enjoy_v a_o true_a appearance_n or_o appointment_n and_o be_v take_v up_o there_o in_o the_o bare_a appearance_n or_o appointment_n yet_o do_v not_o know_v the_o true_a nature_n of_o it_o in_o its_o life_n and_o power_n 3._o deceit_n be_v when_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o and_o love_n to_o or_o delight_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o truth_n be_v only_o produce_v by_o and_o measure_v suitable_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o their_o performance_n or_o eloquence_n in_o it_o or_o the_o warmth_n and_o heat_n they_o draw_v from_o it_o and_o not_o from_o the_o light_n sense_n and_o true_a enjoyment_n of_o presence_n but_o no_o more_o at_o this_o time_n just_o at_o this_o time_n have_v a_o letter_n from_o a_o friend_n i_o shall_v leave_v off_o what_o i_o be_v go_v on_o in_o and_o in_o the_o next_o place_n answer_v that_o and_o therefore_o i_o think_v it_o necessary_a to_o write_v down_o the_o letter_n itself_o and_o so_o go_v on_o in_o answer_v of_o
