god_n now_o such_o as_o know_v god_n and_o his_o will_n in_o truth_n the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n they_o be_v a_o willing_a people_n to_o worship_n god_n according_a to_o his_o will_n make_v know_v to_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n in_o which_o they_o worship_v he_o if_o this_o be_v serious_o consider_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n it_o will_v appear_v to_o be_v the_o beauty_n of_o saint_n not_o to_o act_v before_o light_n to_o know_v god_n will_n and_o so_o to_o do_v it_o therefore_o saint_n shall_v be_v teach_v one_o another_o in_o the_o spirit_n but_o not_o to_o force_v any_o where_o the_o spirit_n have_v not_o teach_v then_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o force_v for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o teach_v do_v also_o lead_v his_o people_n into_o obey_v of_o his_o truth_n and_o wil._n the_o saint_n in_o truth_n speak_v thus_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n to_o god_n not_o my_o will_n nor_o the_o will_n of_o any_o man_n or_o man_n but_o thy_o will_n be_v do_v therefore_o circumcision_n and_o uncircumcision_n that_o they_o avail_v nothing_o but_o the_o new_a creature_n and_o i_o believe_v as_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n shall_v increase_v the_o contending_n in_o the_o world_n about_o form_n will_v decrease_v that_o i_o be_o trouble_v at_o be_v this_o when_o man_n be_v rigid_o zealous_a for_o form_n yet_o then_o negligent_a of_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n have_v which_o walk_n in_o the_o use_n of_o form_n and_o yet_o in_o their_o life_n as_o loose_v as_o vain_a and_o as_o empty_a of_o god_n as_o those_o which_o have_v nothing_o but_o form_n that_o i_o contend_v for_o be_v the_o power_n of_o godliness_n and_o i_o will_v all_o the_o contention_n in_o the_o world_n be_v swallow_v up_o in_o this_o namely_o who_o shall_v live_v up_o most_o of_o christ_n to_o exceed_v each_o other_o in_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n this_o contention_n will_v kill_v none_o but_o our_o lust_n love_v to_o christ_n saint_n and_o truth_n will_v live_v indeed_o and_o it_o will_v be_v our_o life_n to_o live_v in_o this_o love_n but_o there_o be_v another_o sort_n of_o people_n in_o the_o world_n which_o this_o truth_n inform_v we_o of_o that_o be_v such_o as_o talk_v much_o of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o turn_v that_o grace_n into_o wantonness_n such_o wretch_n do_v never_o spiritual_o understand_v this_o text_n that_o who_o ever_o be_v in_o christ_n be_v a_o new_a creature_n nor_o do_v they_o consider_v how_o they_o engage_v the_o purity_n of_o christ_n to_o discover_v their_o impurity_n the_o apostle_n paul_n in_o rom._n 6._o make_v it_o matter_n of_o abhorrency_n to_o continue_v in_o sin_n upon_o this_o consideration_n because_o grace_n do_v abound_v in_o god_n and_o true_o god_n do_v more_o abhor_v to_o own_v they_o under_o a_o freegrace_n for_o poor_a sinner_n now_o when_o such_o as_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v talk_n of_o the_o freegrace_n of_o god_n they_o put_v dishonour_n upon_o it_o and_o a_o stumbling-blocke_n before_o weak_a christian_n it_o make_v they_o stagger_v at_o grace_n to_o see_v graceless_a man_n profess_v it_o and_o grace_n in_o truth_n have_v hard_a thought_n of_o many_o and_o be_v less_o esteem_v of_o because_o of_o this_o false_a profession_n of_o grace_n and_o i_o fear_v i_o it_o make_v poor_a legal_a soul_n to_o make_v a_o god_n of_o their_o duty_n when_o they_o see_v these_o vild_a creature_n to_o abuse_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n i_o know_v not_o what_o be_v more_o vild_a than_o this_o to_o live_v in_o sin_n under_o a_o profession_n of_o grace_n these_o be_v sear_v conscience_n indeed_o that_o can_v sin_n and_o name_v it_o grace_n and_o then_o call_v the_o god_n of_o truth_n to_o witness_v to_o that_o lie_n nay_o to_o make_v god_n himself_o a_o liar_n for_o he_o say_v who_o ever_o be_v in_o christ_n be_v a_o new_a creature_n but_o they_o say_v they_o be_v in_o christ_n and_o yet_o be_v old_a creature_n god_n will_v unmask_v this_o hypocrisy_n and_o prove_v himself_o the_o god_n of_o truth_n christ_n have_v no_o fellowship_n with_o the_o unfruitful_a work_n of_o darkness_n such_o as_o be_v in_o christ_n their_o fellowship_n be_v with_o the_o father_n &_o with_o the_o son_n such_o as_o the_o world_n kowe_n not_o of_o and_o when_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v force_v to_o confess_v that_o their_o food_n be_v busk_n and_o not_o enough_o neither_o then_o can_v such_o as_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o god_n
way_n to_o be_v at_o peace_n and_o quiet_a be_v to_o be_v out_o of_o ourselves_o and_o the_o world_n in_o our_o will_n and_o in_o god_n this_o soul_n gain_v its_o will_n by_o lose_v of_o it_o he_o have_v what_o he_o desire_v that_o in_o all_o time_n and_o thing_n god_n will_v must_v be_v do_v on_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n but_o if_o our_o heart_n shall_v ask_v this_o question_n if_o there_o be_v such_o great_a benefit_n that_o do_v accrue_v to_o the_o soul_n of_o god_n people_n in_o have_v their_o will_n mould_v into_o the_o will_n of_o the_o holy_a god_n then_o what_o hinder_v that_o this_o work_n be_v not_o wrought_v upon_o the_o will_n of_o every_o man_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v there_o be_v three_o thing_n especial_o which_o hinder_v 1._o ignorance_n of_o god_n 2._o unbelief_n 3._o love_n of_o the_o world_n first_o it_o be_v ignorance_n of_o god_n in_o his_o love_n and_o the_o work_n of_o his_o love_n that_o make_v the_o soul_n long_o to_o give_v up_o itself_o and_o its_o will_n to_o god_n and_o this_o appear_v clear_o in_o what_o have_v go_v before_o the_o blind_a man_n can_v judge_v of_o colour_n &_o he_o that_o know_v not_o a_o excellency_n can_v never_o close_v with_o it_o it_o be_v all_o one_o to_o a_o swine_n whether_o he_o trample_v upon_o pearl_n or_o pebble-stone_n he_o can_v distinguish_v there_o be_v not_o a_o great_a evidence_n of_o god_n will_n not_o their_o will_n for_o than_o will_v god_n bring_v their_o great_a disappointment_n and_o certain_a ruin_n this_o be_v also_o proud_a hamans_n case_n his_o will_n be_v to_o destroy_v god_n in_o all_o his_o promise_n he_o only_o engage_v himself_o no_o soul_n can_v engage_v god_n for_o to_o receive_v all_o from_o god_n and_o yet_o to_o oblige_v god_n be_v a_o contradiction_n the_o first_o be_v a_o truth_n of_o god_n what_o the_o latter_a be_v i_o leave_v the_o reader_n to_o judge_v but_o as_o god_n be_v free_a in_o all_o his_o promise_n the_o whole_a working_n of_o god_n in_o promise_n at_o the_o fault_n of_o the_o first_o adam_n to_o give_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n the_o second_o adam_n in_o gen._n 3.15_o that_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n namely_o christ_n shall_v bruise_v the_o serpent_n head_n this_o serpent_n be_v the_o devil_n now_o to_o the_o make_v good_a of_o this_o promise_n the_o whole_a word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o his_o say_v the_o flesh_n it_o may_v be_v of_o a_o saint_n i_o be_o afraid_a of_o the_o pain_n of_o death_n in_o die_v true_o this_o be_v a_o fear_n of_o our_o own_o create_v for_o how_o many_o thousand_o go_v out_o of_o the_o world_n when_o stander_n by_o can_v scarce_o tell_v whether_o they_o sleep_v or_o die_v but_o grant_v it_o that_o the_o pain_n of_o death_n be_v strong_a upon_o thy_o flesh_n of_o these_o the_o violent_a death_n god_n have_v and_o do_v make_v to_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o many_o of_o his_o dear_a saint_n the_o prophet_n apostle_n and_o those_o glorious_a primitive_a proper_o the_o end_n of_o death_n in_o saint_n to_o put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o die_a for_o it_o be_v a_o real_a truth_n though_o a_o mystery_n to_o the_o world_n that_o saint_n die_v whilst_o they_o live_v and_o live_v when_o they_o die_v so_o that_o this_o end_n of_o death_n be_v a_o saint_n glory_n not_o his_o grief_n not_o what_o he_o fear_v but_o what_o he_o hope_v for_o count_v himself_o of_o saint_n which_o be_v here_o enclose_v in_o those_o earthly_a mould_n of_o our_o body_n by_o which_o the_o beauty_n of_o those_o heavenly_a flower_n be_v exceed_o short_a of_o that_o glory_n they_o shall_v have_v with_o christ_n above_o and_o do_v many_o time_n taste_v and_o savour_n of_o the_o earth_n they_o grow_v in_o christ_n be_v the_o proper_a root_n of_o those_o branch_n and_o heaven_n the_o only_a place_n for_o they_o to_o grow_v and_o flourish_v in_o now_o death_n come_v only_o to_o transplant_v they_o from_o earth_n to_o heaven_n to_o crrumble_v that_o clay_n into_o dust_n which_o hold_v these_o flower_n of_o heaven_n so_o fast_o that_o they_o can_v get_v home_o into_o their_o own_o kingdom_n now_o a_o saint_n may_v well_o glory_n over_o this_o end_n of_o death_n for_o death_n be_v herein_o the_o soul_n servant_n to_o have_v it_o home_o to_o glory_n and_o to_o unprison_v it_o from_o all_o the_o bond_n it_o lie_v under_o but_o last_o a_o believe_a saint_n no_o loss_n to_o saint_n in_o die_v no_o not_o to_o their_o corruptible_a flesh_n for_o that_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o christ_n and_o christ_n have_v conquer_v death_n for_o his_o people_n though_o our_o flesh_n in_o scripture_n account_n consider_v again_o the_o wait_a be_v but_o a_o moment_n compare_v with_o the_o time_n of_o enjoy_v the_o next_o moment_n may_v end_v the_o one_o but_o the_o
