to_o it_o verse_n 20._o yea_o i_o have_v obey_v the_o voice_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o have_v go_v the_o way_n which_o the_o lord_n send_v i_o and_o yet_o samuel_n charge_v he_o still_o with_o rebellion_n and_o disobedience_n and_o leave_v he_o not_o till_o he_o make_v he_o confess_v his_o sin_n so_o ready_a be_v man_n to_o deceive_v themselves_o in_o their_o obedience_n to_o god_n as_o if_o their_o obedience_n be_v good_a and_o acceptable_a when_o there_o be_v no_o such_o matter_n man_n will_v not_o be_v bear_v down_o but_o that_o they_o be_v obedient_a people_n to_o god_n i_o have_v perform_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n behold_v i_o have_v obey_v god_n say_v saul_n and_o so_o say_v many_o as_o well_o as_o he_o as_o far_o from_o it_o as_o be_v he_o but_o as_o samuel_n there_o convince_v saul_n 1_o sam._n 15._o 14._o so_o may_v man_n be_v convince_v of_o disobedience_n what_o mean_v then_o say_v samuel_n this_o bleat_a of_o the_o sheep_n in_o my_o ear_n and_o the_o low_v of_o the_o ox_n which_o i_o hear_v there_o be_v not_o a_o ox_n that_o jow_v not_o a_o sheep_n that_o bleat_v but_o open_o and_o loud_o proclaim_v saul_n a_o disobedient_a person_n so_o man_n say_v they_o do_v obey_v god_n and_o they_o be_v wrong_v to_o be_v charge_v with_o disobedience_n but_o what_o then_o mean_v the_o bleat_a and_o the_o low_v of_o their_o oath_n what_o mean_v then_o the_o neglect_n of_o god_n in_o the_o public_a ordinance_n in_o their_o private_a family_n what_o mean_v their_o lordsday_n profanation_n what_o mean_v their_o whoredom_n drunkenness_n and_o other_o not_o bleat_v not_o low_v but_o cry_v loud_o cry_v sin_n in_o the_o ear_n of_o god_n and_o man_n it_o be_v needful_a therefore_o that_o man_n examine_v their_o obedience_n whether_o it_o be_v such_o as_o be_v require_v in_o he_o that_o will_v be_v a_o orderly_a communicant_a true_a obedience_n than_o may_v be_v know_v by_o these_o thing_n 1_o the_o ground_n of_o it_o 2_o the_o end_n of_o it_o 3_o the_o property_n of_o it_o the_o ground_n of_o obedience_n be_v 3._o 1_o first_o the_o ground_n of_o true_a obedience_n be_v the_o authority_n and_o will_n of_o god_n god_n will_n be_v that_o such_o a_o thing_n be_v do_v and_o his_o power_n be_v sovereign_a and_o absolute_a to_o command_v so_o as_o whatsoever_o he_o command_v it_o must_v be_v do_v because_o he_o command_v therefore_o we_o shall_v find_v levit._n 19_o that_o in_o that_o one_o chapter_n this_o one_o reason_n i_o be_o the_o lord_n be_v use_v thirteen_o several_a time_n the_o meaning_n whereof_o be_v the_o obedience_n that_o be_v require_v
