who_o be_v mind_v to_o disburse_v and_o lay_v forth_o money_n to_o recover_v such_o work_n from_o water_n may_v at_o a_o great_a barmoot-court_n hold_v at_o wirksworth_n declare_v such_o their_o intention_n in_o write_v to_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o and_o they_o shall_v take_v the_o same_o into_o serious_a consideration_n and_o if_o they_o know_v such_o work_n to_o have_v stand_v long_o by_o reason_n of_o water_n and_o no_o effectual_a mean_n use_v to_o win_v the_o same_o and_o that_o the_o person_n or_o person_n who_o desire_v to_o undertake_v to_o win_v the_o same_o by_o sough_n or_o otherwise_o to_o be_v able_a man_n and_o like_a to_o perfect_v such_o a_o work_n thereupon_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o shall_v appoint_v a_o day_n a_o month_n after_o at_o least_o for_o themselves_o and_o the_o party_n that_o undertake_v and_o all_o the_o owner_n of_o such_o work_n to_o meet_v at_o the_o place_n where_o such_o work_n be_v and_o this_o time_n of_o meeting_n shall_v be_v publish_v by_o the_o crier_n in_o the_o great_a barmoot-court_n that_o all_o man_n may_v take_v notice_n thereof_o at_o such_o meeting_n the_o undertaker_n shall_v give_v the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o to_o understand_v by_o what_o mean_v they_o intend_v to_o lay_v dry_a all_o such_o work_n and_o to_o get_v out_o the_o water_n for_o recover_v the_o same_o and_o if_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o thereupon_o conceive_v the_o way_n and_o mean_n they_o propose_v be_v like_a and_o effectual_a to_o recover_v such_o work_n from_o water_n so_o that_o the_o public_a may_v have_v advantage_n thereby_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o shall_v acquaint_v the_o owner_n of_o such_o work_n with_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o undertaker_n concern_v the_o recovery_n of_o such_o work_n from_o water_n and_o the_o way_n and_o mean_n they_o propose_v for_o the_o do_v of_o it_o and_o any_o of_o the_o owner_n of_o such_o work_n if_o they_o please_v may_v join_v with_o the_o undertaker_n pay_v their_o proportionable_a part_n of_o the_o charge_n of_o such_o sough_n or_o engine_n as_o shall_v be_v make_v to_o recover_v the_o same_o according_a to_o their_o part_n and_o enjoy_v the_o benefit_n thereof_o and_o such_o of_o the_o owner_n of_o such_o work_n as_o shall_v not_o by_o themselves_o or_o other_o by_o their_o authority_n appear_v at_o such_o meeting_n or_o then_o neglect_v or_o refuse_v to_o join_v and_o pay_v their_o proportionable_a part_n or_o part_n of_o charge_n of_o such_o sough_n or_o engine_n as_o shall_v be_v make_v and_o use_v for_o the_o recovery_n of_o such_o work_n from_o water_n as_o aforesaid_a thereupon_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o and_o bar-master_n or_o his_o deputy_n shall_v have_v power_n to_o dispossess_v such_o owner_n or_o owner_n from_o their_o part_n or_o part_n and_o to_o assign_v and_o deliver_v possession_n of_o such_o part_n or_o part_n to_o the_o undertaker_n thereof_o as_o aforesaid_a withal_o order_v that_o the_o undertaker_n of_o such_o work_n shall_v give_v to_o the_o owner_n that_o refuse_v and_o neglect_v as_o aforesaid_a such_o reasonable_a satisfaction_n as_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o shall_v then_o think_v fit_a and_o if_o it_o happen_v in_o the_o carry_v on_o of_o the_o business_n for_o the_o recovery_n of_o such_o water-work_n that_o any_o difference_n arise_v betwixt_o the_o undertaker_n and_o the_o owner_n of_o such_o work_n or_o any_o of_o they_o so_o that_o the_o work_n be_v obstruct_v thereby_o then_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o be_v call_v together_o shall_v have_v power_n to_o regulate_v all_o such_o difference_n whereby_o the_o work_n may_v be_v effectual_o accomplish_v for_o public_a good_a art_fw-la xxxv_o we_o say_v that_o when_o any_o man_n be_v possess_v of_o a_o groove_n or_o mere_a of_o ground_n and_o have_v find_v the_o vein_n and_o work_v therein_o he_o ought_v to_o suffer_v his_o neighbour_n who_o be_v the_o next_o taker_n and_o show_v he_o the_o best_a light_n and_o direction_n he_o can_v which_o way_n and_o upon_o what_o point_n the_o vein_n go_v but_o in_o case_n any_o man_n be_v so_o refractory_a as_o to_o deny_v his_o neighbour_n such_o a_o courtesy_n than_o he_o may_v procure_v three_o or_o more_o of_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o to_o be_v summon_v and_o the_o bar-master_n or_o his_o deputy_n may_v put_v they_o into_o his_o groove_n who_o have_v the_o vein_n in_o work_n where_o they_o may_v by_o use_v of_o a_o dial_n or_o some_o other_o skill_n show_v he_o that_o be_v the_o next_o taker_n which_o way_n and_o upon_o what_o point_n the_o vein_n go_v so_o that_o he_o may_v know_v thereby_o where_o to_o fink_v his_o shaft_n to_o find_v the_o vein_n that_o the_o field_n may_v be_v set_v forward_o for_o the_o public_a good_a provide_v always_o that_o such_o of_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o as_o go_v into_o the_o groove_n aforesaid_a shall_v not_o do_v any_o other_o act_n or_o thing_n or_o make_v any_o other_o discovery_n of_o such_o groove_n save_v only_o to_o see_v which_o way_n and_o upon_o what_o point_n the_o vein_n go_v art_fw-la xxxvi_o we_o say_v that_o where_o any_o man_n be_v lawful_o possess_v of_o a_o mere_a of_o ground_n for_o any_o rake_n or_o vein_n and_o work_v the_o same_o true_o according_a to_o the_o custom_n of_o the_o mine_n if_o any_o other_o man_n shall_v set_v possession_n at_o or_o near_o his_o fore-field_n pretend_v for_o a_o cross-vein_n or_o some_o other_o thing_n and_o by_o workmanship_n shall_v be_v wrong_o suspect_v to_o work_v in_o the_o same_o vein_n for_o which_o there_o be_v another_o in_o possession_n and_o true_o work_v the_o same_o thereupon_o the_o party_n grieve_v may_v procure_v the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o to_o be_v summon_v to_o appear_v at_o the_o place_n in_o question_n they_o or_o so_o many_o of_o they_o as_o appear_v be_v above_o twelve_o shall_v view_v the_o whole_a work_n and_o if_o thereupon_o they_o find_v by_o their_o best_a skill_n the_o thing_n in_o all_o probability_n to_o be_v one_o and_o the_o same_o and_o yet_o for_o want_v of_o workmanship_n can_v then_o plain_o appear_v than_o such_o of_o the_o grand-jury_n or_o twenty_o four_o as_o appear_v and_o view_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v give_v such_o their_o opinion_n under_o their_o hand_n in_o writing_n withal_o order_v who_o they_o conceit_n work_v wrongful_o forthwith_o to_o give_v the_o party_n
