but_o sure_o it_o can_v be_v long_o before_o the_o understanding_n be_v taint_v before_o that_o light_n which_o glow_v therein_o be_v obscure_v and_o put_v out_o it_o be_v a_o hard_a thing_n to_o keep_v a_o spark_n of_o fire_n alive_a in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o sea_n of_o water_n to_o keep_v a_o beam_n of_o light_n in_o the_o understanding_n under_o such_o darkness_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o affection_n and_o such_o work_n of_o darkness_n in_o your_o conversation_n this_o be_v sure_a either_o the_o truth_n will_v make_v you_o leave_v sin_n or_o your_o sin_n will_v make_v you_o leave_v the_o truth_n either_o that_o light_n in_o you_o will_v overcome_v your_o darkness_n or_o your_o darkness_n will_v overcome_v your_o light_n man_n that_o hold_v up_o affection_n to_o sin_n though_o more_o quiet_o sleep_v in_o sin_n sin_n without_o disturbance_n sometime_o indeed_o error_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o sin_n sometime_o sin_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o error_n we_o will_v exemplify_v this_o it_o may_v be_v that_o a_o man_n have_v walk_v in_o some_o way_n of_o sin_n and_o will_v not_o be_v reclaim_v of_o it_o he_o have_v some_o light_n within_o which_o give_v in_o testimony_n to_o his_o conscience_n of_o the_o evil_a of_o his_o way_n this_o disturb_v he_o now_o in_o a_o way_n of_o sin_n but_o this_o will_v not_o reclaim_v he_o of_o his_o sin_n he_o will_v sin_v still_o but_o the_o light_n within_o he_o disturb_v he_o he_o can_v sin_v with_o that_o quiet_a and_o peace_n as_o other_o do_v and_o therefore_o now_o his_o corrupt_a heart_n begin_v to_o undermine_v the_o light_n the_o whole_a frame_n it_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o truth_n to_o serve_v the_o advancement_n of_o the_o whole_a work_n of_o grace_n indeed_o it_o be_v true_a there_o be_v some_o truth_n that_o have_v a_o more_o proper_a and_o peculiar_a influence_n upon_o one_o then_o upon_o another_o and_o may_v be_v serviceable_a to_o one_o more_o than_o to_o another_o grace_n but_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o truth_n that_o be_v disserviceable_a to_o any_o nay_o no_o truth_n but_o be_v helpful_a to_o all_o truth_n advance_v the_o whole_a work_n of_o grace_n 3._o it_o advance_v the_o whole_a work_n of_o truth_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v cordial_n other_o physic_n and_o other_o food_n some_o that_o be_v more_o proper_a for_o comfort_n other_o for_o purge_v and_o other_o for_o strength_n and_o
