his_o father_n the_o last_o action_n as_o it_o be_v of_o his_o life_n he_o in_o that_o prayer_n declare_v the_o transcendency_n of_o his_o love_n by_o put_v up_o more_o request_n in_o the_o behalf_n of_o believer_n than_o of_o himself_o you_o know_v the_o prayer_n in_o joh._n 17._o and_o if_o you_o observe_v it_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o albeit_o in_o the_o beginning_n he_o pray_v for_o himself_o in_o that_o father_n the_o hour_n be_v come_v glorify_v thy_o son_n yet_o have_v but_o as_o it_o be_v mention_v this_o in_o the_o 1_o vers_fw-la and_o reiterated_a it_o in_o vers_n 5._o he_o do_v in_o a_o manner_n shut_v himself_o out_o of_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o prayer_n and_o spend_v it_o whole_o for_o believer_n and_o oh_o what_o glorious_a thing_n do_v he_o beg_v in_o their_o behalf_n that_o the_o father_n will_v keep_v and_o preserve_v they_o ver_fw-la 15._o that_o he_o will_v own_v and_o sanctify_v they_o ver_fw-la 10_o 17._o that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o with_o the_o father_n as_o he_o be_v one_o ver_fw-la 21_o 22._o and_o in_o the_o close_a of_o all_o how_o do_v he_o entreat_v the_o father_n to_o admit_v they_o to_o be_v there_o where_o he_o be_v and_o to_o behold_v his_o glory_n and_o how_o strong_o do_v he_o argue_v for_o this_o do_v he_o not_o use_v the_o cogent_a motive_n of_o love_n for_o thou_o love_v i_o ver_fw-la 24._o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v father_n i_o know_v thou_o love_v i_o thou_o do_v so_o before_o ever_o the_o world_n be_v now_o i_o beseech_v thou_o by_o that_o love_n as_o if_o ever_o thou_o will_v declare_v that_o thou_o do_v love_v i_o own_z preserve_v sanctify_v make_v one_o with_o thyself_o mine_n as_o i_o be_o for_o this_o be_v the_o argument_n to_o the_o whole_a prayer_n and_o let_v they_o who_o i_o love_v in_o the_o world_n be_v with_o i_o when_o they_o leave_v the_o world_n o_o father_n as_o thou_o love_v i_o hear_v grant_v this_o as_o my_o last_o request_n for_o my_o beloved_a one_o tell_v i_o now_o how_o transcendent_a be_v christ_n love_n and_o how_o near_o do_v believer_n lie_v to_o his_o bosom_n who_o be_v now_o as_o it_o be_v to_o pray_v and_o die_v forget_v himself_o and_o breath_n out_o his_o last_o request_n in_o so_o many_o so_o transcendent_a particular_n in_o their_o behalf_n thus_o you_o see_v how_o easy_a it_o be_v to_o run_v through_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n and_o yet_o run_v to_o read_v all_o along_o transcendent_a love_n to_o believer_n but_o i_o must_v now_o speak_v a_o word_n to_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o you_o shall_v see_v this_o also_o as_o lively_o demonstrate_v as_o either_o or_o both_o the_o other_o branch_n the_o truth_n of_o the_o point_n viz._n that_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n to_o believer_n pass_v knowledge_n the_o three_o head_n of_o demonstration_n be_v the_o death_n of_o christ_n i_o shall_v speak_v to_o it_o a_o little_a distinct_o though_o brief_o but_o where_o shall_v we_o begin_v his_o passton_n and_o at_o what_o part_n of_o it_o shall_v we_o enter_v upon_o this_o demonstration_n shall_v we_o go_v with_o he_o into_o the_o garden_n indeed_o there_o it_o begin_v or_o shall_v we_o ascend_v mount_n calvary_n how_o upon_o it_o it_o end_v or_o shall_v we_o speak_v of_o what_o he_o suffer_v in_o the_o high_a priest_n hall_n i_o think_v it_o not_o amiss_o to_o mention_v each_o to_o begin_v therefore_o at_o the_o garden_n in_o which_o christ_n be_v take_v o_o how_o transcendent_o sweet_a be_v the_o smell_n of_o his_o love_n
