except_o you_o find_v your_o heart_n sanctify_v by_o they_o and_o god_n name_v sanctify_v â—n_v they_o that_o be_v the_o second_o note_n of_o difference_n between_o the_o ease_n a_o carnal_a heart_n find_v in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n and_o the_o ease_n a_o gracious_a heart_n find_v chap._n cxxxvii_o contain_v a_o three_o and_o four_o difierence_n between_o the_o ease_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n and_o the_o very_a flesh_n to_o the_o fleshly_a part_n indeed_o the_o yoke_n of_o christ_n be_v easy_a unto_o the_o saint_n but_o it_o be_v not_o easy_a unto_o the_o flesh_n i_o mean_v to_o the_o corrupt_a part_n it_o be_v not_o easy_a to_o that_o i_o but_o the_o way_n of_o religion_n to_o carnal_a heart_n be_v easy_a to_o their_o very_a corruption_n to_o their_o corrupt_a part_n for_o first_o there_o be_v agreement_n enough_o between_o any_o duty_n they_o perform_v and_o their_o secret_a sin_n they_o can_v

service_n other_o way_n and_o then_o three_o in_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n there_o the_o very_a service_n of_o god_n have_v a_o kind_n of_o burden_n in_o it_o for_o there_o be_v so_o many_o external_a performance_n that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n call_v they_o beggarly_a rudiment_n so_o many_o outward_a ceremony_n outward_a thing_n that_o be_v a_o burden_n to_o the_o outward_a man_n and_o they_o be_v mean_a thing_n and_o childish_a thing_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o gospel_n they_o be_v call_v by_o the_o apostle_n beggarly_a rudiment_n and_o true_o one_o will_v think_v that_o when_o we_o shall_v read_v such_o a_o scripture_n as_o that_o that_o shall_v call_v the_o ceremony_n of_o the_o law_n beggarly_a rudiment_n that_o be_v the_o ceremony_n appoint_v by_o god_n himself_o and_o yet_o when_o they_o come_v to_o be_v abrogate_a they_o be_v call_v but_o beggarly_a rudiment_n one_o will_v admire_v how_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o any_o one_o that_o profess_v christianity_n shall_v come_v few_o thing_n be_v appoint_v by_o jesus_n christ_n whereas_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n there_o be_v multitude_n of_o external_a thing_n yea_o and_o how_o easy_a be_v they_o that_o christ_n have_v appoint_v for_o the_o outward_a part_n of_o his_o worship_n whereas_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n it_o be_v hard_a as_o circumcision_n what_o a_o hard_a thing_n be_v it_o to_o have_v to_o foreskin_n of_o the_o flesh_n cut_v off_o and_o you_o know_v it_o make_v they_o sore_o when_o the_o man_n of_o sichem_n be_v circumcise_v they_o be_v so_o sore_o that_o two_o or_o three_o man_n be_v able_a to_o destroy_v a_o whole_a city_n now_o christ_n have_v require_v no_o such_o hardness_n of_o we_o and_o true_o that_o may_v be_v one_o thing_n that_o may_v make_v we_o much_o doubt_n of_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o further_o that_o be_v another_o argument_n that_o be_v very_o persuasive_a to_o the_o believer_n and_o his_o child_n for_o if_o god_n shall_v deny_v this_o condition_n to_o the_o child_n in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n it_o will_v make_v the_o gospel_n to_o be_v hard_a than_o the_o law_n and_o the_o church_n officer_n nor_o civil_a officer_n neither_o magistrate_n nor_o minister_n have_v any_o power_n to_o put_v any_o law_n upon_o a_o church_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o spiritual_a estate_n of_o it_o in_o regard_n of_o any_o spiritual_a ordinance_n but_o such_o as_o be_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n christ_n be_v the_o great_a lawgiver_n and_o have_v make_v they_o already_o and_o and_o they_o be_v to_o look_v that_o those_o law_n be_v keep_v but_o they_o be_v to_o make_v no_o new_a one_o there_o be_v no_o new_a act_n no_o new_a statute_n for_o the_o order_n of_o man_n in_o their_o spiritual_a estate_n those_o thing_n that_o be_v proper_o spiritual_a to_o work_v upon_o the_o inward_a man_n that_o concern_v the_o worship_n of_o god_n to_o draw_v their_o heart_n to_o christ_n or_o christ_n to_o they_o to_o work_v upon_o their_o heart_n there_o can_v be_v no_o new_a act_n no_o new_a law_n make_v by_o magistrate_n or_o any_o church_n officer_n in_o the_o world_n but_o only_o such_o as_o you_o find_v in_o the_o scripture_n now_o this_o be_v a_o great_a ease_n to_o a_o christian_a to_o think_v lord_n thou_o tender_v my_o soul_n so_o much_o that_o none_o can_v command_v any_o thing_n but_o what_o thou_o have_v set_v down_o in_o the_o word_n and_o what_o thou_o have_v command_v indeed_o lawyer_n be_v to_o show_v man_n the_o law_n of_o the_o state_n and_o minister_n be_v bind_v to_o show_v the_o people_n if_o there_o be_v any_o law_n and_o to_o teach_v it_o the_o church_n but_o there_o be_v no_o law_n that_o minister_n be_v bind_v to_o open_v but_o only_o the_o command_n of_o jesus_n christ_n they_o may_v be_v make_v use_n of_o as_o man_n as_o public_a man_n and_o as_o opportunity_n serve_v be_v helpful_a in_o the_o civil_a state_n but_o as_o minister_n they_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v but_o to_o open_v the_o law_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o this_o be_v a_o great_a ease_n whereas_o this_o be_v the_o bondage_n of_o antichrist_n he_o will_v make_v law_n to_o bind_v conscience_n and_o so_o though_o a_o man_n shall_v keep_v all_o god_n law_n yet_o he_o may_v be_v damn_v to_o eternity_n by_o break_v his_o law_n and_o therefore_o he_o make_v it_o a_o bondage_n in_o this_o regard_n that_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v not_o only_o in_o danger_n of_o eternal_a damnation_n by_o disobedience_n to_o christ_n law_n but_o a_o thousand_o law_n that_o he_o never_o know_v and_o that_o be_v the_o second_o ease_n of_o the_o yoke_n of_o christ_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o law_n to_o govern_v the_o church_n but_o the_o law_n of_o jesus_n christ_n three_o the_o difference_n between_o the_o yoke_n of_o antichrist_n and_o the_o yoke_n of_o christ_n be_v this_o antichrist_n require_v submission_n
