that_o you_o can_v make_v a_o distinction_n between_o such_o ungodly_a sinner_n here_o speak_v of_o and_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n you_o may_v true_o say_v that_o you_o live_v short_a of_o the_o true_a sight_n and_o sense_n of_o god_n majesty_n in_o his_o church_n and_o among_o his_o saint_n who_o be_v thus_o blind_a that_o you_o can_v distinguish_v between_o a_o member_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o a_o fornicator_n especial_o where_o the_o scripture_n have_v make_v such_o a_o note_a distinction_n may_v not_o t._n c._n as_o well_o have_v instance_v judas_n for_o a_o member_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n as_o these_o fornicator_n and_o unclean_a person_n yea_o rather_o for_o the_o disciple_n be_v not_o for_o bid_v to_o keep_v he_o company_n nor_o forbid_v to_o eat_v with_o he_o nor_o bid_v to_o excommunicate_v he_o as_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n be_v those_o beforementioned_a and_o therefore_o his_o be_v tolerate_v among_o the_o disciple_n may_v better_o have_v serve_v for_o your_o purpose_n from_o his_o example_n to_o endeavour_v to_o persuade_v people_n that_o you_o be_v and_o may_v be_v account_v a_o church_n of_o christ_n notwithstanding_o your_o great_a abomination_n confess_v in_o your_o tiverton_n epistle_n true_o your_o blindness_n may_v even_o be_v feel_v and_o if_o you_o be_v not_o quite_o insensible_a you_o may_v blush_v and_o be_v ashamed_a of_o your_o gross_a ignorance_n but_o t._n c._n say_v the_o apostle_n do_v not_o unchurch_v they_o as_o the_o enemy_n of_o christ_n do_v in_o these_o day_n take_v notice_n reader_n do_v not_o he_o unchurch_v those_o who_o he_o deliver_v to_o satan_n and_o those_o who_o he_o command_v the_o church_n of_o christ_n to_o have_v no_o fellowship_n with_o or_o not_o to_o company_n with_o member_n of_o his_o church_n in_o the_o day_n when_o he_o make_v up_o his_o jewel_n but_o as_o for_o such_o as_o have_v be_v call_v to_o repentance_n and_o have_v not_o answer_v that_o holy_a call_v by_o obedience_n to_o he_o that_o have_v call_v they_o his_o call_n and_o his_o love_a invitation_n shall_v stand_v as_o a_o witness_n against_o such_o for_o ever_o and_o because_o the_o lord_n have_v call_v and_o they_o will_v not_o hear_v therefore_o when_o they_o call_v and_o cry_v there_o shall_v be_v none_o to_o deliver_v they_o thou_o say_v that_o t._n s_o have_v manifest_v abominable_a hypocrisy_n and_o deceit_n in_o that_o he_o say_v that_o t._n c._n instance_v the_o saint_n infirmity_n in_o former_a age_n to_o encourage_v in_o a_o state_n of_o sin_n etc._n etc._n when_o its_o like_a be_v member_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o also_o to_o stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o such_o liar_n and_o deceiver_n who_o say_v the_o true_a church_n of_o christ_n have_v have_v the_o same_o or_o as_o great_a sin_n and_o abomination_n in_o they_o as_o be_v mention_v in_o tiverton_n epistle_n and_o yet_o be_v the_o true_a church_n of_o christ_n notwithstanding_o and_o although_o according_a to_o thy_o wont_a manner_n thou_o rail_v at_o t._n s._n accuse_v he_o with_o hypocrisy_n and_o deceit_n because_o he_o say_v t._n c._n do_v encourage_v in_o a_o state_n of_o
be_v consider_v what_o the_o law_n and_o the_o testimony_n be_v and_o that_o he_o further_o say_v the_o law_n be_v in_o the_o heart_n the_o light_n be_v in_o the_o heart_n the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n the_o sure_a word_n of_o prophecy_n be_v in_o the_o heart_n the_o word_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o now_o come_v to_o the_o matter_n to_o which_o thou_o scoffing_o and_o wicked_o say_v now_o he_o be_v fit_a for_o the_o work_n out_o with_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n and_o follow_v the_o law_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n of_o his_o own_o imagination_n and_o be_v sure_a salthouse_n will_v prevail_v and_o carry_v all_o before_o he_o thou_o hypocrite_n be_v this_o out_n of_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n to_o speak_v truth_n in_o the_o very_a scripture-language_n have_v not_o t._n s._n quote_v the_o scripture_n for_o proof_n of_o what_o he_o assert_v concerning_o the_o law_n in_o the_o heart_n the_o light_n in_o the_o heart_n the_o word_n of_o faith_n nigh_o in_o the_o heart_n the_o sure_a word_n of_o prophecy_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o yet_o thou_o be_v so_o impudent_a as_o to_o say_v out_o with_o the_o scriipture_n of_o truth_n and_o follow_v the_o law_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n be_v the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o the_o heart_n or_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o heart_n or_o the_o word_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o heart_n or_o the_o sure_a word_n of_o prophecy_n which_o be_v the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n in_o the_o heart_n be_v this_o the_o law_n or_o the_o imagination_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n thou_o have_v no_o cover_n for_o thy_o wickedness_n here_o but_o have_v manifest_o publish_v thy_o folly_n and_o thy_o envy_n in_o charge_v t._n s._n for_o out_v the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n when_o he_o have_v cite_v the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n for_o proof_n of_o what_o he_o have_v speak_v therefore_o because_o thy_o wickedness_n be_v so_o plain_o and_o open_o discover_v in_o set_v thyself_o through_o envy_n to_o oppose_v testimony_n for_o a_o rule_n yet_o when_o t._n s_o have_v prove_v by_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n that_o this_o law_n and_o testimony_n be_v within_o in_o the_o heart_n it_o be_v like_o t._n c._n have_v no_o mind_n to_o join_v issue_n or_o plead_v with_o he_o for_o he_o well_o know_v that_o shall_v he_o speak_v no_o more_o of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n or_o of_o the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n than_o what_o be_v manifest_a in_o he_o and_o write_v in_o his_o heart_n his_o mouth_n and_o the_o mouth_n of_o many_o of_o his_o brethren_n will_v soon_o be_v stop_v for_o though_o that_o which_o may_v be_v know_v of_o god_n be_v manifest_a within_o according_a to_o the_o scripture_n yet_o they_o that_o believe_v not_o in_o that_o which_o do_v make_v manifest_a but_o be_v enemy_n to_o it_o they_o know_v little_a of_o god_n or_o of_o his_o law_n or_o testimony_n neither_o be_v it_o their_o rule_n now_o that_o which_o do_v make_v manifest_a be_v light_a eph._n 5._o 13._o but_o t._n c._n to_o be_v your_o rule_n yet_o in_o work_n you_o deny_v he_o and_o his_o law_n of_o righteousness_n be_v cast_v behind_o your_o back_n and_o the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n which_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o prophecy_n you_o have_v deny_v and_o despise_v neither_o be_v his_o law_n your_o rule_n or_o his_o light_n your_o guide_n witness_v your_o own_o confession_n in_o tiverton_n epistle_n therefore_o i_o say_v shall_v t._n c._n plead_v only_o from_o what_o of_o god_n be_v manifest_a in_o he_o he_o will_v have_v very_o little_a to_o say_v and_o so_o no_o marvel_n if_o he_o refufe_v to_o join_v judge_v it_o seem_v the_o perfection_n which_o you_o own_o be_v at_o a_o great_a distance_n from_o you_o and_o not_o holiness_n perfect_v in_o you_o but_o in_o another_o and_o so_o you_o imagine_v it_o shall_v be_v impute_v you_o hereafter_o when_o you_o be_v dead_a though_o you_o be_v perfect_v wickedness_n and_o ungodliness_n all_o your_o life_n long_o and_o this_o imagination_n you_o call_v faith_n in_o christ_n but_o though_o we_o own_v no_o other_o perfection_n then_o that_o which_o be_v by_o faith_n in_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o perfection_n of_o his_o people_n and_o be_v all_o in_o all_o to_o they_o yet_o except_o you_o know_v he_o to_o live_v in_o you_o and_o know_v he_o to_o work_v in_o you_o both_o the_o will_n and_o the_o deed_n even_o he_o of_o who_o its_o say_a that_o he_o come_v to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o so_o to_o know_v perfection_n and_o freedom_n from_o sin_n in_o yourselves_o wrought_v by_o another_o it_o will_v avail_v you_o nothing_o to_o say_v you_o own_o perfection_n in_o another_o for_o what_o the_o better_a be_v you_o to_o tell_v of_o perfection_n and_o freedom_n from_o sin_n in_o another_o whilst_o you_o be_v imperfect_a and_o be_v servant_n unto_o sin_n and_o what_o press_v after_o perfection_n or_o freedom_n from_o sin_n be_v there_o like_a to_o be_v with_o such_o who_o affirm_v that_o god_n never_o have_v yet_o a_o church_n in_o the_o world_n without_o sin_n and_o that_o who_o ever_o affirm_v the_o contrary_a be_v hypocrite_n will_v any_o that_o believe_v this_o press_v after_o that_o which_o none_o yet_o can_v ever_o attain_v or_o be_v not_o this_o to_o press_v after_o a_o impossibility_n and_o if_o by_o press_v after_o it_o they_o shall_v attain_v to_o it_o and_o make_v confession_n of_o it_o it_o seem_v they_o must_v be_v account_v hypocrite_n this_o be_v small_a encouragement_n to_o any_o to_o press_v after_o perfection_n or_o freedom_n from_o sin_n but_o we_o be_v not_o ignorant_a what_o that_o imagine_a perfection_n be_v of_o which_o you_o speak_v and_o which_o you_o say_v you_o press_v after_o for_o although_o abomination_n reign_v in_o your_o soul_n and_o iniquity_n apparent_o write_v on_o your_o forehead_n head_n and_o that_o you_o be_v even_o draw_v it_o as_o with_o cart-rope_n yet_o because_o you_o can_v sometime_o make_v a_o hypocritical_a confession_n of_o this_o condition_n and_o therewith_o mock_v god_n as_o you_o confess_v you_o have_v do_v often_o this_o be_v call_v a_o press_n after_o perfection_n and_o because_o you_o have_v read_v in_o the_o scripture_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n you_o imagine_v that_o his_o righteousness_n shall_v be_v impute_v you_o and_o serve_v to_o cover_v your_o unrighteousness_n and_o this_o be_v your_o perfection_n as_o
